  I have been waiting for this book since I heard it was to be published. I had seen Christopher's work and loved it so feared I might be disappointed in the book. After all, how can one convey the same visuals as on a video. Well, it has been done. The pillows are stunning and the instructions very clear. Definitely a book worth the wait. I plan to get started tomorrow.

  This book far exceeded my expectations - and that happens almost never! The techniques are original with many illustrations and clear directions. There is a wealth of information/ideas/inspiration between the covers. Excellent and highly recommended.

  This is a fantastic book! If you are looking to push the envelope, then this book is for you! Christophers pillows are stunning, and his techniques are on the cutting edge and so creative. I highly recommend this book if you are someone who wants to create beautiful things for your home, and isn't afraid to break all those stuffy old sewing rules!

  I am actually an interior designer, and have a full design workroom. These pillows in this book are WAY over the top. There is not one that I would show any of my clients. As one reader put it....wouldn't want to lean against any of these pillows. I completely agree! These designs give off a very 80's feel to me.

  This book was not what I was expecting it to be so therefore; to me was a little disappointing. From the description, I thought it was going to have some nice pillow designs to chose from but in my opinion, the projects shown are very outdated and not the type of throw pillows I would use in my home. They are a bit too glitzy and not something you could actually lean against and be comfortable. I guess it would just come down to personal taste. On the other hand, if you are just learning to use a sewing machine - this book has good explanations of how to set up your machine's stitching options, tension settings, etc.
  
  
• Designer Pillows? Not...

  Craft mirrors, gaudy jewels, shredded lame, and glitter glue are NOT what high end designer pillows are made of. Many of the pillows are beautiful in this book but are cheapened with the use of the above items. This is really not a book of sewing but more about fabric usage and decoration. I will definitely NOT buy any more publications of Christopher Nejman.

  Christopher's Pillow book....WOW. He introduces and shows a whole new perspective to sewing, adventures in thread, colors and decorator pillows to the highest level. If there is a Vol 2 coming, I'm signing up now.
  
  
• Big Disappointment

  I've ordered many books from Amazon and this book is the only one I have ever returned. The pillows were so unattractive that I can't imagine wanting to sew them. I'll stick with my old copy of "Sewing Beautiful Pillows."
  
  
• Misleading Title

  The book did not meet my needs. I was looking for a book that would provide information on how to sew pillows. This book is about how to "punch" (code word for felt) pillow fabrics and textiles to create unique pillows. While they are beautiful, I haven't yet purchased a felting machine. So the book was rendered useless. My next plan is to go to a book store to make sure the book I am buying will provide instructions on how to sew pillows.
  
  
• Not for the traditionalist

  Hello, this is Christopher Nejman and I want to tell you that if you are looking to learn new contemporary techniques in felting/punching then my book will give you much to learn from. My book is not for the traditionalist. My book teaches you how to "punch" fancy fabrics verses felting wool roving.
  I wrote this book and used pillows as a canvas so I could cover so many techniques for you to learn from. You can make tote bags and other creative projects with the ideas from my book.
  
  I am so sorry so many took a chance and bought without research. My suggestion is to look up on a search engine an author's name and find their website. My website has had the photos of these pillows up right when the book came out.
  
  So for those who are "real" readers and critics, research will find wonders before buying to see if this is your cup of tea or not.
  
  I am not a traditionalist so I am not a quilter. I am an FCA which stands for Fiber Construction Artist. I teach you how to be free and let your hair down while changing your presser feet beyond a quarter of an inch and breaking all the traditional rules in creativity.
