  This video is great. My 2 year old daughter loves Kipper. The animation is clean and crisp. Because of the use of plain backgrounds, it is easy to focus on the main characters and the story. I love this video as much as my daughter. Are there any more releases available. I also would like to buy another copy of this video for use at my daughters mom's house.

• We just can't get enough KIPPER!

  My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES this tape and so does anyone else lucky enough to be close by to see it. The animation is colorful and not overwhelming with distractions from the story. He is a wonderful little dog. The stories are calm and relaxing for those end of the day quiet moments. I wish there were more.

  My 14 month baby girl got to love Kipper initially through the books. Two months ago, she got one of the tapes for a present and I haven't seen anything like it! She can only say a few words and one of them is Kipper! She runs to the TV and asks for Kipper and watches the video with great delight, dancing to the music. I strongly recommend this fun-loving friend into your homes, the simple yet touching stories are a wonderful introduction into your children's lives.

• My daughter's favourite

  My daughter got this video when she was about 20 months and it has been a favourite ever since. She has always loved Kipper - probably because she has a fascination with dogs. The adventures of Kipper and his friends are fun and exciting and she laughs along with them.
  One of the stories on this video - The Visitor (about the gosling) is my daughters most favourite. The first time she watched it I couldn't work out why she was crying when the story ended and then I realised she was crying because the Kipper was saying goodbye when the gosling returned to his friends. She has tears in her eyes everytime she watches it and loves the story so much.
  Lovely videos - beautifully done with gorgeous animation - you only get as much background as you need to tell the story so a lot of the screen in white so you can concentrate on the story and not be overwhelmed by colour or other objects. Really lovely video to share with your toddler.

  My four-and-one-half year old autistic grandson loves this video and I love watching it with him. The animation is great; the stories are simple yet teach a lesson. The British accents are delightful. An all-around great children's video!

  My son who just turned two has now defected to Kipper from Spot. He absolutely loves it and and can watch it all day if we let him. It is a great change for me an my husband from having to watch Spot for months!! We are looking forward to more Kipper videos(longer than 30 minutes hopefully).

  My son had 0% interest in watching anything on television - video, PBS, Nick, etc. - then came the Kipper tape! It remains the only thing he will actually sit down to watch, and has been a great help during those times when you need a few minutes to tend to other things without worrying that he's out the door, under the sink or generally anywhere he shouldn't be. The music is lovely (my husband's comment) and certainly something you don't mind hearing again, and again, and again. Note: our 5 year-old is a BIT tired of it . . .
  
  
• Kipper's a Hit!

  My niece and nephew were over and we all watched this for the first time yesterday. Both of them laughed out loud several times during our "screening." The stories are paced just right for the 2-5 year old crowd, Kipper is kind and friendly, the animation is bright and attractive to watch. As an added bonus, it's the kind of video an adult can have on in the background without it grating on one's nerves. A great pick for kids.
  
  
• Great Video - Great Dog!

  Everyone at my house loves Kipper. My husband bought this video for my daughter when she was 18 months old. She instantly fell in love with Kipper. The stories are easy to follow and are nonviolent. Kipper talks with a British accent and is very polite. What I think you can appreciate the most about all the Kipper videos is the gentle and kind way he interacts with his friends and others. He is a great example for children and adults.

  I now buy this video for every 1st or 2nd birthday/1st or 2nd Christmas that comes up. My daughter is almost 3 and Kipper is still her favorite.
  
  

• I saw this on TV and just had to have it...

  for my 18-month old son, of course (wink, wink). The Vistor is by far the best of the stories. It is an enchanting tale of Kipper's kindness toward a lost feathered stranger. Everyone (adult and child alike) that I've shown it to was deeply moved by this sweet and simple story. Enjoy!
  
  
• Excellent, just as great as the books

  Our family really enjoys Kipper, and this video is excellent. They have done a great job bringing Mick Inkpen's wonderful books to the screen. The characters, music, and animation are all so charming - everything is very classic and clean. If you are tired of all the obnoxious, loud, and strangely animated cartoons on TV, then check this one out for your younger children.

  I bought the video for my 2-yr old knowing he liked watching it on Nick Jr, but I also like this cute little dog too. The animation is colorful and simple and doesn't clutter the mind. Kipper's friend, Tiger is also a delight and I love the British accents! A must get-must see video!

  My young son and I adore Kipper, and the silly antics he and Tiger so unsuspectingly get themselves into. Arnold is a toot and so is each fun-filled episode. Such charming British accents, perfectly suited to the equally-charming and infectious soundtrack. "He wasn't stuck after all!" :-) Surely looking forward to future Kipper video releases.

  My son has a fairly short attention span, but Kipper has been viewed over and over and I think he would watch it all day if allowed. It is uncluttered and has wonderful music and characters. Please won't someone make another one!!!

  My 2 and 5 year olds LOVE this video, as do my husband and I! Kipper is gentle AND funny (not just gentle like Spot), and the way he takes care of the gosling that shows up at his window is a character trait we'd truly like our children to emulate. The music is exceptional - catchy and perfectly suited to each action. We eagerly await a second Kipper video.

  This is a wonderful video I believe everyone will enjoy! The characters, music and storylines are imaginative and thoroughly enjoyable. Kipper is a kind-hearted and sensitive puppy that children will relate to. He is thoroughly lovable! A perfect alternative to the steady diet of useless violent "cartoons" offered today.

  We love kipper at our house. I have this one as well as pig's present and other stories. They are very sweet. I don't like some of the action videos that are out today. This is really just a good video for my daughter to sit down and watch.
  
  
• great - only 1 problem

  This was a typically adorable Kipper video-with 4 stories, the only problem is that after each short story are the credits for that story and then the opening song again before the next story, making kids think it's over and furthering that "would you like a dog like a dog dog dog dog like kipper, kipper the dog" theme song stuck in the heads of us poor kids song singing parents.
  But overall I am very happy I bought this--it's a good deal, as both my girls 6 months and 3 years just LOVE and adore Kipper, and actually so do I, he's so cute, and this is the only kids video I've ever seen where not everything always goes right and good, sometimes sad things happen to Kipper and his friends but they always make the best of it and have fun and stay happy anyway. All the characters are great and very lovable, with terribly cute english accents.

  My little 23 month son watches TV as he passes by it. He just hasn't had the interest yet -- until we received this video as a gift. He literally stopped in his tracks and watched the entire "The Visitor" story. Not only did he watch it intently, he literally laughed out loud several times. I laughed just watching him. He has NEVER done this. This is a GREAT video.
