If you can dream it up, this book will show you how to produce it! By AKMEY1BSHSDG7 on 2008-05-31
If you love arts and crafts, love to decorate (or at least undergo frequent bouts of house-hysteria) this is most definitely one of the best books you can buy to satisfy all your creative urges and transform the eye appeal and comfort level of your home for little or no money. Once completed, these pillows would fetch $50 to $250 in the shops! You might want to spend a little time cruising the department stores before you decide what you want to make.
If you want to start from scratch with all new materials or transform something you've already got sitting on the couch, Linda Neubauer and Joanne Wawra have got a wealth of information and lovely illustrations to rev up your creativity and inspire you to have great fun with whatever projects you choose. It is fun to work on these projects, because the directions and pictures will start you and keep you moving in the right direction.
There's something here for every skill level, and anyone with a strong interest in completing one of these pillows will be able to do so with what is presented here. There are 30 different projects with step-by-step instructions and very self-explanatory illustrations. Most importantly, all the basics are here, and once you master that, nothing can stop you from achieving the look that you dream.
LOVE this book!
Best Handcrafted PIllow Book By A3E2BMEE9SV7N8 on 2008-09-14
I own many pillow construction books, and this one is the most comprehensive of all. If you only buy one book, buy this one. It is loaded with clear, thorough techniques (including zipper enclosures) as well as a wide variety of styles.
