Fellowes 5-Position Monitor Riserx$7.98
    (4 reviews)
Best Price: $7.98
Don't try to balance that swank new monitor on a phone book, and stop giving yourself a daily neck cramp. Instead, invest in this durable monitor stand that adjusts your screen to exactly the right height. Dark gray legs snap onto the silver platform; the sleek stacking design allows you to easily align them while leaving plenty of room underneath for storing disks, papers, or even your lunch. The stand's height reaches a maximum of 6.5 inches. The platform measures 13.5 by 13.2 inches and can hold any monitor weighing up to 80 pounds. Fellowes includes a one-year warranty in case of defect.

Great Monitor Stand By A20OL29Y2NNISG on 2000-09-30
This is an excellent monitor stand that goes as high as 6.5" and supports monitors up tp 80lbs. It looks great and has room underneath to hold just about anything. Not stated in the Amazon.com review is that this stand is the Fellowes Premium Monitor Riser, just in case you want to check it out in the nearest store.
I Finally Stopped Slouching By A23EV4KA4PI72M on 2001-01-13
Prior to purchasing this, I'd spend quite a bit of time looking down into my computer monitor. Needless to say, I was slouching for hours at a time and suffering from neck and shoulder pain. I finally found the solution by ordering this monitor riser.Although it arrives unassembled, it was extremely easy to put together, even without looking at the directions. I'm impressed with the durability and design. Most of all, I'm grateful for what it's done for my posture. Highly recommended!
Forget it if you have a Sony By A2JLIPAONG8KJ4 on 2001-10-03
I have a new 19" flat screen monitor from Sony, who makes them with feet instead of a pedestal. This Fellowes stand may be able to take the weight of a 21" monitor, but it can't take the width, if the monitor is a newer style like mine. My monitor's feet are 15" apart; the stand is 13" wide. (Note: the box Fellowes sells it in is 18" wide and doesn't have the stand's measurements on it)
It's a godsend for tall people By A23883Z52CSIMJ on 2003-01-04
After a hideously long wait ... I finally had a chance to use this with my Sony 200 PS monitor, and it works great- I don't have to slouch and the area underneath lets me stash USB hubs, reference manuals, and other goodies. After one day, my backaches are starting to fade already. One word of warning- this just barely fits underneath a 17" monitor with a traditional pedestal. I wouldn't try using it with anything larger or anything with an unusual pedestal, like an LCD or an Apple CRT.
