    (25 reviews)
Best Price: $24.00 $23.95
Kaiser Bakeware offers the broadest product range in the bakeware industry offering both classic and creative shapes. Known for bakeware innovations, Kaiser invented the springform pan, the "intelligent round cake pan" and is the world's largest manufacturer. Kaiser bakeware products have been made to the highest standards of German craftsmanship for over 85 years. Manufactured from steel base metal, the products provide even and gentle heat distribution for even browning and baking. All Kaiser Bakeware pans are safe up to 450 degrees F in the oven. The Noblesse bakeware line features 2-layer nonstick interior for the perfect release and cleanup. Made of Heavy-gauge steel providing even and gentle heat distribution. The black exterior absorbs heat and provides better browning and shorter cooking times. The Leakproof bottom eliminates messy spills and the superior springform buckle provides the perfect release of baked goods, and is guaranteed for life. This set includes 4 Mini Springforms measuring 4 inches each.
These four leakproof 4-1/2-inch springform pans are ideal for individual tarts or tiny fruitcakes and are easy to assemble, close, release, and clean. The perfectly flat bottom is easy to release and provides an evenly baked dessert. For optimal cooking, coat the interior surface of the pan with a very thin layer of butter before each use--this will guarantee a perfect release of cakes and breads. Because of this pan's heavy-gauge steel construction and dark-colored coating, goods baked in it will generally finish cooking in about 10% less time than specified in your recipe. --Julie McCowan

Nice, but not very durrable By on 2001-05-05
When I received my set of Mini Springform pans I was very excited. I couldn't wait to get started on some wonderful deserts. And as expected the results were great. Only after the first washing did the problems reveal themselves. Not only did I notice rust on the release hinges, but the rims on the collars were warped. At first I thought I could live with this, but a friend pointed out it could only get worse. I am used to purchasing top quality kitchen equipment, but these definitely do not make the grade. Admitedly the results of my first time use were great, but I just don't feel these pans will last. I hate buying something and knowing I will have to replace it soon. And that is exactly the way I felt with these pans.
Cutest ever, do you not agree? By on 2000-05-27
These are the cutest little springform pans ever! I just got them yesterday and made mini chocolate cakes first thing! They work like a charm, and the nonstick is great -- they release like a charm. Because of their smaller size, I used the cupcake time on my mix and that was perfect. I found that one cake makes 2 large servings or 3 moderately sized servings. Of course, the size of these pans makes for an unusual presentation, which did impress my friends. Now I just have to go to the store for cheesecake ingredients...
Adorable! By A281NPSIMI1C2R on 2001-04-26
When I found a recipe for mini-pumpkin cheesecakes, I knew I had to buy some mini-springform pans. The nonstick feature on this set makes them perfect for any recipe. When you receive them, you will think they are the most adorable kitchen item you have ever seen. They are made in Germany and have a 3-year warranty.
The pans are easy to close and release as they have a nice large clamp on the sides. This makes them perfect for mini cheesecakes. Molten chocolate cakes also sound delicious. For a party, you might want to order more than one box. These pans fit nicely on a baking sheet and you could bake six to a sheet. You could adapt your recipe so you fill these less and then they would make 1 elegant serving per guest for a party.
I was surprised not to find recipes included with the pans, but there are plenty of recipes you could adapt. Just keep the temperature the same and decrease the time. The recipe I have was in the Sunset magazine and called for 10 "tart" pans (4 1/2 inch wide with removable rims). The cheesecakes bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes so that might give you an idea of how you can adapt your own recipe.

Not what I expected of Kaiser By A3NGHJNGDCEW6E on 2003-03-15
I looked forward to receiving these, since Kaiser's such an established name in bakeware. The hinges rusted on the first washing! Otherwise, they are more flimsy than I thought they would be. I purchased another springform pan in the La Forme line and would definitely stick with that one. It's worth paying a few more dollars to get a heavy duty pan.
Don't bother By A1RY8PL7WPIJXY on 2003-05-23
My hinges also rusted on the first washing. They look awful. It was a waste of money and time b/c now I have to find a better set.
- mini-springform pans
     By on 2001-11-21
I really like the mini-springforms. They are easy to use and so handy when I am doing special holiday cakes to give as individual gifts to co-workers. I like them so well I am considering buying another set to make my baking time twice as fast.
- Not for those who bake cheesecake often
     By A3HLHBSRAWXRGG on 2002-08-30
These Springform pans are cute and turn out very nice cheesecakes, but I would recommend tin metal pans rather than nonstick pans for those who bake often. I am still looking for a small Springform pan made with tin--the nonstick version of a Springform pan performs more consistently and with higher quality. HOWEVER, the novelty of a small cheesecake makes these Springform pans very fun to use.
- More Than Cheesecakes
     By on 2001-12-12
These mini-pans are great for cheesecakes (as you expected), but are also wonderful for making regular cakes (even with a cake mix)!!
- Great for individual cheesecake gifts
     By A2I6RGZ1WAXBDX on 2005-07-08
I bought these to give gourmet baked cheesecake gifts for couples or individuals, where a full size would be too much.. These are the most fabulous little pans ever.. I baking cheesecakes using the water bath method.. I still wrap the bottom in foil, a little water bubbled in to the foil but they did not leak water into the cheesecake. My full size doesn't seal as tightly as these. It sometimes leaks even though I wrap in foil, which can cause the crust to become soggy... These little pan are also good for the left over batter when making a full size.
- So so
     By AB7Z5GEJ2QG4N on 2008-01-22
Cute and small. Perfect for a two person household. :-)
What I did not like is the plate. You actually have to keep the whole thing in your hand to get the plate into the right place and then close the clamp. They should have made the small pans like they did with the 7- or 9-inch pan.
Otherwise the pans work like a charm. The non-stick works perfectly. I`m happy but as I said, they could be better.
- Mini Springform Pans.
     By A14BK4KP32YXE3 on 2008-02-05
Bought as a gift for my wife, she makes a lot of cheesecakes that the two of us never finish. I thought it would be great to be able to make smaller ones, less waste. The quality of construction on these springform pans are very dissapointing. The top edge is rolled sheet metal and on three of the pans the edge is not rolled over all of the way. This creates a sharp edge that not only can cut fingers but also causes the sliding metal of the spring action to catch and jam, making the release very ineffective. Great idea, horrible execution.
- Difficult Clasps to take pans apart
     By AGWWKL438OIYQ on 2008-02-26
I already owned a set of Wilton Mini Springform Pans, but wanted an extra set so more people could enjoy birthday cheesecake with me (with less work). The Wilton pans are fantastic-easy to clasp, easy to take apart, easy to put back together, easy to clean, study, and have held up perfectly after 10 years.
The new set of Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse Nonstick Mini Springform Pans is quite the opposite. The clasps are cheaply made. They're hard to open and close. My cheesecakes suffered some damage as I tried to release the pan sides. The two parts wouldn't detach completely at this stage-just enough to remove the cheesecake. When it came time to washing the pans, I had to use two hands at great force to separate the two pieces. When it came time to put them back together it took a lot of effort as well.
I would NOT suggest this brand to anyone. I do NOT expect these pans to last long. The clasp quality is poor. The pans did produce nice cheesecakes, but again, suffered damage upon removal from the pans. I have had great results on the past 10 years using the Wilton brand. So, I feel this review is significant. I bought this set on sale for $14.95, and the reason I chose this set over Wilton. I'll stick with Wilton for alll my springform pan needs in the future.
- Hopefully they will be great for holiday baking.
     By A2EKVN0P3F7M8H on 2006-11-10
I haven't had a chance to use them yet as the holidays are just approaching, but they look good and sturdy. If the cheesecakes come out well, I'll know then, but so far, so good. They delivered on time too.

These pans are wonderful! Especially, for people who want a cheesecake but not an 9" one. They are really cute and fun.

Excellent product. On time shipping.
- A little extra
     By AB1HSM2OY3K18 on 2007-11-17
These worked out excellent for me - I had a charity bake sale. One cheesecake recipe filled all four plus a little extra left over. I think 6 of these would work for a full recipe. You have to cut down your baking time as well.
- Cute as they can be, now I need a recipe
     By A1WRSJGXH3K0KL on 2007-12-05
I hesitated to buy these because of a review that said they aren't durable. They were so cute, I ordered them anyway and whoever had the problem must be talking about a different product or a knockoff of this sturdy, well-made product. And it comes with a good warranty. I was delighted to see it came with a recipe book, but all the recipes were for other Kaiser pans, a loaf pan, a bundt pan, or larger standard springform pans. I wanted these because cooking a 9-inch dessert for two is too much. I guess you can halve or quarter a standard recipe and reduce the cooking time to fit the 4.5-inch pan. I adapted a carrot-muffin recipe. A warning: if you make four of these at once, you don't save any calories over one 9-inch dessert. Kaiser would help themselves and their customers if they supplied proper recipes.
After writing this review, I ordered "Small-Batch Baking" by Debby Maugans Nakos. Maybe this cookbook will help.
- Excellent for mini breads...
     By ABVTQ8VIHM5PK on 2008-01-06
I've never used springform pans before this and I'm pleasantly surprised how well they work. I'm not much for making cheesecake because of watching weight, but banana breads and carrot cakes come out well with these. Evenly baked and quite easy to release and clean.
A reviewer had some quality control issues, but maybe they have fixed them since then because mine are still in good shape!
You'll like this purchase.
- cute cakes
     By A1982YOF4IYY7X on 2008-02-09
I made traditional cakes with these pans for my daughter's birthday party. Each of the children decorated their own to take home. The pans worked great! I was a little disappointed to see a little rust show up after washing. This is my only bit of criticism.
