Hours of amusement!

My three year old LOVES this puzzle! He puts it together over and over. I like this puzzle for the sturdy pieces that are so large they are IMPOSSIBLE to lose. When put together the puzzle itself is a beautiful underwater scene. A Melissa and Doug hit!
Fun for all ages

This was purchased for our two granddaughters (3 and 4) and they loved it. Large pieces made for easy manipulation for little fingers. This is a "keeper".
Puzzle for Little Ones

Unlike small table-top puzzles, this one is large enough for a group of little ones to work on together. We often have 2 to 4 kiddos crawling around the floor working on this puzzle. Each piece is sturdy enough that a small tyke can sit on it (on carpet) and not bend it. Also, the colors are just as vivid as they look on my computer screen. Quite lovely. The kiddos get so excited at the sheer size of these puzzles that we have several of them, some several years old and still in good shape. Your results may vary, but we've found them to be very worthwhile investments.

My son loves this puzzle. These are great because they big pieces which are easy to work with. Plus, the fabulous colors and detail are perfect. We have 8 of these puzzles and buy them for gifts. Everyone loves them.

My kids (six and three years old) enjoy putting this puzzle together. The pieces are huge and sturdy. The fish theme makes it easier to identify, sort and match. Once the puzzle is completed, the picture is breathtaking. Amazon has the best price since the item is eligible for free shipping.

My son and his five-year-old boy began work on this puzzle as soon as it arrived. They had a great time with it. I selected it because of the pretty colors and the underwater theme, suggesting a big hit with my grandson. He was not disappointed, so neither was I.

It is a wonderful puzzle. Colorful, durable and both my kids (4 & 6) love putting it together, together! It's not so big as to become a nuisance to walk around, but it's really humongous from the kids' perspective. Great toy!

My daughter loves this puzzle. We talk about colors, the types of fish, etc. The pieces are nice and thick and the puzzle is just the right level for a 3-4 year old.

This puzzle has beautiful color to it. The pieces are really, really nice, big, and of great quality. (Even the box is durable!) The detail and color of the puzzle are very fun for kids. My 5 yr-old daughter has enjoyed this puzzle and loves to do it over and over again. I would definitely suggest it to others.... and the price on amazon is worth it, too.

It is large colorful floor puzzle attracts everyone from 2 y.o. It is challenging enough for 5 - 7 y.o. kids so they still have fun themselves while they are entertaining their younger siblings. At the same time the pieces are large and even 3-4 year old can figure them out. It has many pieces so 2-3 kids can work on different parts of the puzzle at the same time. And it is big & beautiful when it is finished - what an accomplishment!!! Any kid (even the one who is too old for it) feels proud of finishing such a presentable work.

Good quality, and fun, and I enjoy doing it too. I like things that both me and my kids like to do. My 3 year old likes it as much as the 7 and 11 year old.

This toy is not only good fun for my son (4 yrs), but also for me. Even my 2 yr old has started showing an interest in puzzles because of the bright, colourful pieces. It helps me relax and unwind, at the same time be doing a fun activity with my children. The puzzle pieces are thick and durable, but will not withstand being chewed upon - so if you have a dog or a younger child who likes to chew on things, it could be tricky!
It takes about 20 mins for me and my son to solve the puzzle from scratch. It is definitely a challenge for my son to do it by himself - he's not yet managed that. I think upto 6 yr olds can find it challenging - it could keep them occupied for 45 mins or so.
Ideal for ages 3.5+ to about 6 yrs (of course it's always fun for adults, but if you're a puzzle fan you probably want to do something more challenging as an adult).

I purchased this for my 4 year old son and he loved it, he is able to do the entire puzzle himself and loves the size and pictures on the puzzle, I would highly recommend it.
- Really Fun Puzzle!

I bought this for my 4-year old grandson. This was really only the second puzzle he put together. He has thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle. The colors are fantastic! He loves giving names to the different underwater fish. We put it together in his small bedroom, so on the floor was the only choice. The puzzle is very durable and is withstanding him walking on it. We were both so pleased that we ordered another Melissa & Doug puzzle (planets). My only disappointment was that I could not pick it up and hold it for viewing like smaller jigsaw puzzles. I guess that is what they make puzzle glue for.

I bought this puzzle for my 3 yr old.. she is yet to learn to put it together.. its a little complicated.. but the pieces are durable and hopefully she will learn to complete it soon.. will definitely recommend this!!

This brand of floor puzzles makes high quality items. They are very durable puzzles and have sustained poundings from my 4 year old godson who loves puzzles for over a year now. They are brightly colored and are an interesting change from the typical smaller puzzles he does. Lots of fun to do with him too!

My 2 year old son is a big fan of fish and the sea. This puzzle was his birthday gift. He still needs assistance putting it together but he absolutely loves the imagery. I've taught him the names of different fish which he amazingly committed to memory in very little time. He now recites the names of the fish while I put together the puzzle. I think Melissa and Doug would've been well served actually including an insert that identifies all the species (there are quite a few of them). The puzzle pieces are nice and large so there's no worry of choking.

My 3 year old loves this puzzle. It has so many colors in it that makes it challenging over and over again. It is durable enough to not break even when our big dog walks over it. This puzzle might be a little hard for some toddlers.

This is a great buy. My daughter is almost 4 and she loves this puzzle, and the other 3 Melissa and Doug puzzles that she has as well. Very durable and excellent price. It's also a great picture to be made into a puzzle for kids because it's pretty easy to link up the pieces with which area of the picture they go to because there isn't much open space and not a whole lot of repetitive colors. Definitely recommend buying this one.

I bought this puzzle to do with my 3 1/2 yr. old son, and we love it! He still needs a little help and can't do it by himself, but it has been a fun activity that helps him learn and develop his thinking skills!

Our 4 year old grandson is great with puzzles. The 24 piece ones are very easy for him. We wanted to challenge him, over 24 pcs, but not 100 pcs which he gives up. This puzzle is big and of hard cardboard. Its lots of fun for us watching his expressions when we put it together and talk about the different fish. You can't go wrong with Melissa & Dough Puzzles.

My son loves this puzzle and works it over and over. The picture is bright and engaging. The pieces are easy to put together for his age - 7 years. And it is easy to figure out which ones go to this puzzle when they get mixed in with other puzzle pieces. That's a good thing from my parent-position.

This puzzle has beautiful, vibrant colors. The pieces are large enough that I don't think we'll will lose them - like every other puzzle in the house. My son and I enjoyed putting it together for the first time - and he loves all the fish, including the "nemo" fish.

My eighteen-month-old son and I love pouring over the beautiful scene in this puzzle. He points to the different creatures and has his favorites, such as the clownfish (thanks to Nemo) and the sharks. We've had this puzzle for about one month, and he is just learning to put the pieces together with some prompting. I think we will enjoy this toy for many more years. It is just as attractive to adults as toddlers.
