  I just got my windchime in the mail today and it sounds so wonderful. I went on the Woodstock website so I could listen to the sounds of the different chimes and decided on the GAS Gregorian Alto Chime. Amazon sent it right out and I am thrilled with my purchase. It sounds even better than it sounded on the website. I will probably buy another one for a different part of my yard. Truly beautiful music!!!

  These chimes are wonderful! These are the first chimes I have owned that actually play a melody. It only takes a slight breeze to hear the beautiful sound.

  We have these hanging outside of our front door along with their soprano counterpart. We enjoy ringing them each time we go out. They make such cheerful music in a major key to leave and return by!

  I recently received the Woodstock Percussion GAS Gregorian Alto Wind Chime. As the owner of several windchimes I must say this is my favorite. The sound is absolutely mesmorizing. The harmonic peaceful tones sound in the slightest breeze. I am ordering other chimes that harmonize with the Alto. If I only had one chime - this would be the one!

  I got the whole set of Woodstock Percussion Gregorian windchimes from the Soprano, to the Baritone.

  Besides, it's weather resist, I own the original Olympic sound for over 6 years and still good as new. Definitely worth the money and long term enjoyment.

  Well tuned, melodic chimes I hung outside my bedroom window. Even on the windiest of nights, I hear a clear well tuned mystical sound from these chimes! Well worth the small investment, four stars because I must care for the small wooden disc..it tends to weather quickly exposed to the elements.

  The fairies brought this for my daughter this Christmas to thank her for the lovely garden she planted for them last year. They're hanging in the tree over the garden now, waiting for spring. We've had a few warm days when we could go listen to them and they're lovely. They don't sound like typical windchimes at all. They really do sound like a band of wee folk are playing music. They definitely add another level of "reality" to her garden.

  First and only chime I have ever ordered and I got the best right out of the gate! Nothing says Spring quite like the melodious sounds of a quality wind chime!
  
  The melodies are vibrant, crisp, clear and soothing, all at the same time. The quality is found throughout, from the tuning of each chime and the wood used, to the packaging, which concerned me as it was a gift. Shaking the box didn't give a clue to the contents!
  
  This should not be used near unappreciative neighbors as the sound tends to carry, but why not share such beautiful music? All with the quality and service you expect from Amazon.com.

  After going to [...], and listening to clips of all the Woodstock windchimes, I chose this one. It sounds AMAZING. It came well packaged in a box that is suitable for gift giving. It's well made, and the sound carries from the front porch to the backyard. It's a beautiful, clear sound. Very classic. I love it so much I just ordered it's big brother, the baritone. I can't wait until my house is surrounded by sound!

  Because this company offers a large selection of tonal wind chimes, I had a difficult time deciding which one to purchase. After careful readings of each description and measurements, I selected one.
  It arrived quickly and was exactly as envisioned.
  If you want a wind chime the plays random bits of music rather than chanks and tinkles of metal on metal, this is the one for you. The product is well made and visually nice. The unit is also sturdy enough to withstand a strong wind without becoming tangled.

  I was hesitant to buy a windchime without hearing it, but not too many places are open at 3:00 AM to do comparison listening. Since returns are easy, I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The sounds from this chime are very melodic and soothing, just the thing I wanted. No matter the wind -- from light breeze to stiff summer storms -- the sound from this product are rich and peaceful.   I have wanted a pair of windchimes for a long time, so I bought these with a birthday gift. They are absolutely beautiful. If I could describe the music of the heavens, this is what it would sound like. I hung them next to the door in my sunporch, so when the breeze comes in, they make magnificent music. Gentle, soothing, and amazing how much they sound like Gregorian chant. If you do hang these outdoors, you'll need to take good care of them.   I absolutely LOVE this windchime-in fact I bought two, b/c I couldnt decide on one-so I have both hanging outside my window. Beautiful and delicate, the chimes lifts my spirits and comfort me, each time there is the slightest of breezes. One day my neighbor told me that the windchimes blew down! How could I have missed that-oh the silence! So I quickly retreived them from her and rehung the chimes. There is nothing like them-no cheap in store windchime compares. Just beautiful!

  I absolutely love this chime. I enjoy the deeper sounds as opposed to the high pitched tinkling sounds. I though a chime would drive me batty while we were outside in the pool, but this is so soothing with such a clear relaxing sound. We also have the Woodstock Bamboo chime outside with this one and I enjoy the combined sounds. Even my twelve year old commented that it sounds like a song.
