• Rubber end wore loose from the end of stick.

  My son had a very serious accident while using his pogo stick. The rubber end had worked it's way up from the end of the stick and when my son started to jump on it the pogo stick slid out from under him and he fell and smashed his head onto the concrete. We found him laying in a pool of blood, screaming. We rushed him to the emergency room to have him examined. He suffered a severe cut on his lip, which required stitches. He also suffered a concussion, and lost his two front teeth. What a sad thing to have happen... this all happened Saturday October14th. We are going to contact the company on this matter with hopes of them doing somthing about the rubber ends. I would not buy this pogo stick due to the rubber end. I found it interesting that there was another person which wrote about the same thing in the comment section of this web page... I would say they were lucky enough to find the rubber end was bad before one of their children were hurt seriously like my son. This pogo stick was purchased at Toys r Us.

  This toy may be a lot of fun to play with but it is also dangerous - the rubber tip on the end of the pogo stick wears off very quickly. I have noticed that I am not the only reviewer on here that has had this problem.
  I gave this pogo stick to my 9 year old stepdaughter for her birthday and within a week the rubber tip wore off and she ended up falling off the stick, onto the ground, and hit her head pretty hard.
  Until the company improves this item, I HIGHLY recommend that you do not buy this no matter how much fun it may be. It's not worth getting hurt over.

  Pros:

  ~This pogo is by far the least expensive of the sticks offered on Amazon.
  ~The weight range is set low enough that a girl can actually use it!
  ~General pros for all pogo sticks: improves co-ordination and fitness level, burns energy, and is FUN!

  Cons:

  ~Not a good stick for a heavier teen.
  ~Tips wear out FAST.

  But good news! You can stock up on tips...Have fun!

  I have used many pogo sticks in my time, I am a 37 year old female (yes i bought it for myself), and this pogo has bounce. I was very impressed with the quality. There isnt anything negative I can say about this product.
  The shipping was the fastest I have ever seen.

  We were glad we went with this pogo stick. It is very durable. The boys love having contsts to see who can do the most bounces. My husband even joined in on the contest. However he just couldnt keep up. I will say it was a good call on buying this item..

  The second day of use the tip broke off. The end of the pogo stick is a hollow pipe with no metal plate to distribute the force of impact.
  
  
• GREAT OUTDOOR TOY

  Our new foam covered Master Pogo has stood up to punishing abuse by my children and thier friends. Contrary to other reviews, our rubber tip shows little sign of wear and will probably last for several more months. Our Pogos rubber tip does look different than our old Master Pogos, so I guess it was redesigned and is much improved.

  According to my kids, the black and yellow foam covering makes the pogo very comfortable to ride because it doesn't hurt thie inside of their legs.

  Safety is of course a major concern. I make sure everyone using the pogo wears a helmet. All and all this has proven to be a very durable toy, one that my kids will undoubtedly enjoy for many yeart to come. I hightly recommend it.

  My son got this as a gift and loved it. It just dose'nt hold up. The inner sleeve that moves up and down with the spring as you jump became scared and rough. My sons weight falls in the middle for the rating for this toy so I do not think that was the problem. My son had alot of fun it just did'nt last long. Needs to be made alittle better

  This pogo stick was perfect weight wise for the average teenager. Another more durable pogo stick proved to have a spring that my son couldn't push down adequately. This one has endured hours of abuse and still goes on hopping.
  
  
• Not Good for Stunt Pogoing

  I've been through six Master Pogo Sticks since I first started stunt pogo sticking. Most of the time the handle will bend right off after I'm jumping. Other time the bottom shaft broke off.

  If you are serious about stunt pogo sticking, I would definitly reccomend the Gravity Games Pogo Stick. I have yet to break it and I have tried the craziest things on it.
  
  

• Awsome Pogo!!!

  This stick is the the greatest thing ever! My friend just got it a few days ago in just the first few jumps he was already getting over a foot of air! it was was crazy even he was amazed. Even I who had never really done it before learned pretty fast on this stick. Plus the foam is awsome it feels really good on your hands and legs unlike other pogo sticks. but the foam at the bottom of the stick did tear a little but that doesn't really matter, oh and as for the tip it seems like whenever I see my friend hes bouncing on this pogostick and the tip hasn't worn very much at all.
  I very highly recomend this pogostick for beginers or pros alike and its a very good price too. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• Great birthday gift

  I purchased this as a birthday gift for my 11 year old nephew, and he is having a blast with it. He had enjoyed playing with a pogo stick at school, and I had heard positive remarks about the flybar, so I chose this for him. He quickly mastered it, and it's a great incentive to actually play outside!
  
  
• You might want to look for a better product.

  This stick is fun, but poorly made. The carton states weight limit 180 pounds, but a 90 pound child easily wears through the insufficient rubber tip in short order. The rubber tip will last no more than an hour. Sounds like it's not a problem, but without the rubber tip, the stick is dangerous, and will be ruined in no time. The sharp metal pole that the tip is supposed to protect DESTROYS the rubber tip after a very short time. The metal pole then begins to be deformed and ruined if you continue use. The company does not respond to emails concerning this manufacturing defect. Better buy a dozen rubber tips if you plan on more than a days use.

  Customer support was beyond belief!! We discovered a cracked footpeg upon opening the box and contacted support.. We recieved the replacement part the next day along w/ a free rubber pogo tip w/ no questions ask.I wish other companies would stand behind their "after sale" customer relations as well. P.S.. The Master Pogo Stick w/ foam covering is absolutely the best ever. The product is very well built and a previous unit (without foam)has endured over two years of abuse.

  I have noticed several bad reviews due to the end cap coming off. I agree that this toy is not very safe. But I must say that the other reviewers said their child busted open their head on the concrete and required stitches etc. and I shook my head sadly for those poor kids. People, PLEASE be a responsible parent and make your kids wear a helmet when they use a pogo stick, bike, scooter, whatever! It would have saved those kids from having concussions and needing stitches. Buy a better pogo stick than this one, and don't forget the helmet.

• All New and Much Improved

  This all new foam covered Master Pogo is 100% better than the old model. The ride is extra smooth because plastic bushings are now installed between all moving parts. The rubber tip is also completely different. Our Gym class couldn't wear it out after months of use. The whole Pogo feels heavier, I think the gauge of the steel is thicker than the old one. The foam covering prevents the pogo from bumping into your legs- again, a huge improvement. I highly reccomend this Pogo.

  After only one month of use by my 8 year old the rubber end had dissapeared. Luckily no one was hurt. I read other review to see that we are not the only one that this has happened to. There have been some that have resulted in injury. Hopefully the manufacturer will get this straightened out but in the mean time I feel it was a waist of money

  I was reading through these reviews, and saw that some people say this is a dangerous stick; well I pogo a lot, and I mean a lot, I saw one other stunt pogoer make a review on this stick. So I think being an extreme pogoer and all, I would know a decent amount of information...
  
  There are 4 good pogo sticks out there, including the foam master, they are the following:The 2 Y frames- foam master/neon master and Gravity games, and the 2 air powered pogo sticks- Flybar and the vertego( which is not in the market yet, but will be soon).
  So getting back the foam master. I really don't see how it is too dangerous, maybe you guys should wear a helmet, but even I don't wear a helmet and I do stunts on it- never got a serious injury. It is a great pogo stick for beginners and experts also a VERY resonable price. So there should be nothing stopping you in getting this stick.

  I think this pogo stick is great fun. Althogh there were some bad reviews, i still bought this item. I found it pretty good, I'm a good pogo-er, i even hold a record of 3024 jumps in my town.therefore i am qualified to use any pogo sick, and im considered to bee a pro. I just reccomend that you buy a replacement tip with it, and you need some pogo experience.

  My 9 1/2 yr. old son got his 1st pogo stick when he was 4 yrs. Mastered it in a few days, jumped on it sooo much the metal of the jumping pole was paper thin. Since then he has owned a couple more. Well he is now close to 90 lbs. 5 ft. tall, and it was hard to find a durable enough pogo. Well, the Neon was a perfect match! He can jump on it forever, and it still has plenty of spring, and allows him to reach incredible heights! Very sturdy. A winner!

  I purchased the Neon Master Pogo Stick for my son's 9th Birthday and he loves it. Although I didn't realize the weight limit (over 90 lbs.) and my son is only 65 lbs., he still has fun on it. It's great for exercise and balancing skills.

  I wasn't sure if the Master pogo would hold up to gym class use, but was pleasantly surprised that it did. After dozens of users and thousands of jumps, the Pogo is still working fine. We have not had any of the durability problems mentioned in other reviews. Maybe the product has been redesigned?

  in one day friend showed me how to use this pogo stick and in the same day i had mastered it.i think it is the safest thing to use outdoors and it is really fun!!!!!!! i enjoyed using it so much that my friend could not get me off it , and i think the funnest part was......how high i went.......well if you get this pogo stick..........have fun

  I bought this for my daughter, age 8 - it's a pretty heavy pogo stick and she can't get it off the ground! We'll keep it until she grows into it, but if your child is a lightweight don't expect to use it yet!

  Buy it!!! It is my fave pogo stick.... I had an old pogo stick for 25 bucks, it went 4 in off the ground...... I got my new Neon Master Pogo stick and after using the old one, i thought that my new one had jets on it!!! I tought i was flying!!! Goes over a foot of air, yellow and bvlack foam, and if you pay attention, you won't get hurt.... I do stunts and jumpa and all and dont even have a single scratch from it! BUY IT!!!! If you want good, reasonabley priced BIG AIR, BUY THIS POGO STICK!!!
  P.S. I reccomend this stick to ages 8 and over! At Toy's R Us, only $25. Have fun!
