A great investment for all people that have dust problems By ACDZ80QX7RYXM on 2002-06-15
I purchased Model 16004QV. This is one great dust collecting machine. I used a 2 1/2 to 1 1/4 inch adapter to hook my Porter Cable sander to the vacuum. In my kitchen I have Parquet floors that needed refinishing. I sanded the floor three times and applied poly after each sanding. After the final coat had dried I used a wet paper towel to wipe the counter tops, absolutley no dust on counters. The only regret that I have is that the Turbo Carpet Head and Deluxe Floor tool were not available from Tool Crib. I purchased these seperately from Love-less Ash Company. I almost lost my vac. when my wife used the carpet head in the house. It vacuums carpets better than the Kirby or other machines I have used. The crevice tool supplied really gets the dust and dirt out of corners and on top of base boards. I don't ever plan on sanding again without my Love-less attached to the sander. I can see no reason to have a dust table to sand on when you can purchase this vacuum so economical. It is a must for every woodworkers shop.
A Proven Work Horse By A25QAG9O8R99HI on 2005-02-08
Several months ago I purchased the LoveLess 16004QV to replace my original Craftsman and I couldn't be happier. The unit is made of light weight durable plastic which really stands up well on construction sites. Its casters operate smoothly and is so quiet you can actually have a conversation while standing beside the machine as its operating. The hose is longer than most, doesn't get kinked and remains flexable even in cold weather. Coal dust, wood ash, sawdust, drywall dust, it doesn't matter as there is absolutely no dust blow-by and the water drain is simply a joy to use. It keeps up with the planer and sanders and changing the bag is easy and clean. The only problem I have encountered is keeping it on the truck or in the shop as my wife and kids are either using it around the house or cleaning their cars. A great investment.
Impressive Vacuum By A1BEI3H95JJDGA on 2007-01-11
While it's not exactly "quiet," it's not annoying - it's about as loud as your average shop vac (although I'd recommend wearing earplugs with any vacuum if you're in an enclosed space like a small room or hallway). I'm very impressed with the overall quality of construction - the hose is a heavy commercial type, the body of the unit is heavy polymer with exremely well-fitted seams. It produces a very strong vacuum - so don't be fooled by the 1.5 HP rating (as compared to the "6 HP" shop vacs that you see in building supply stores). It has dual internal filters - one main "bag" and one filter for the motor. You will need to buy a sanding head separately - and be sure to get an adapter for the hose on the sanding head to adapt to the 2.25" vacuum hose. In use, I can attest to the fact that it is very close to completely dustless. As a matter of fact, if you're used to having dust falling out from under your sanding device, it can feel like you're not removing any material - and then *wham* - you're into the paper . My unit showed up with shipping damage(UPS' fault), but the broken part was cheerfully replaced free of charge by the Love-Less folks - so I can also vouch for the customer service of the company (and it's a US company - which is nice).
Works very well By A20HSPEM6XBX2L on 2006-09-07
We used this vacuum to pick up drywall dust from our subfloor. It is a great vacuum and does an excellent job. However we had to get a replacement after about a month because
1. The hose broke - not due to anyone stepping on it, but it separated from the edge connector.
2. The electric On/Off switch gave a shock during heavy loads.
3. One of the wheels came off during handling. Had to rescrew it back in.
We got a replacement as it cleans very well. Also apart from the above problems, the construction is solid, easy to clean and replace the bags. You definitely need the Love-Less 131-41 Vacuum Bags with this.
Dustless Sander By A1IF5WU57AAUWN on 2006-03-02
The unit works great if used as it is intended, I am a contractor and can verify that this product was never intended for high quantity output but if allowed to function as designed it peforms very well and it is extremely versatile in that it can be used for other than drywall sanding.
- Awesome

I am a residential contractor and this vac is a professional grade vac. It has powerful suction and was used to clean up drywall dust at a new home site. We had abosultely NO problems with it. I have never had a vac that would do this. This one does! I will buy another if I need more than one in the future.
- SO QUIET IT COULD SNEAK UP ON YOU

- works great

I actually purchased this early this morning because I had a huge drywall dust cleanup in a basement (along with all sorts of saw dust, webs, dirt, etc.) and the shopvac there had stopped working the night before. I like every single thing about it's design and ability to suck up the huge mess I made. I did feel like the suction would get weaker fairly quickly, but I think it may have been one of my hose connections were not tight enough.
I will never use a shopvac again (unless it's all there is)...
- Excellent Vac
     By A2K26XXKFY6H79 on 2007-01-15
This vac doesn't let anything get by. I recently finished removing the plaster from the last room in my house, two times around the room and I was dust free. (If you haven't dealt with plaster dust, think of sheetrock dust and multiply by five) I have had this Vac for about 5 years now and have no complaints.
- Fantastic for cleaning pellets stoves (cold ash only!)
     By A3UUJMD7HYX9J on 2008-01-26
In searching for the right ash vacuum to clean my Harman Accentra pellet stove, I settled on this unit, and I am confident I made the right choice. Although this unit is not designed specifically for cleaning stove ash, due to the possibility of sucking up hot coals or pellets, it nevertheless serves this purpose very well. In fact, I think in many respects it's performance is superior to the devoted ash vacuums the LOVELESS company offers. The key is in making ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your ash is completely cool. In the case of a pellet stove, this is not very difficult to determine. The suction is fantastic, and the large optional filtering bag further enhances the vacuums already excellent filtration. I fabricated a few accessories myself to assist in the intricate aspects of cleaning my pellet stove, and now have the perfect system for the job. One bag will easily take me through the entire winter season, and during the summer months I will be able to use the vacuum for other purposes. My only concern has to do with the latches and wheels, which could be designed with a bit more durability in mind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And what about customer service? The LOVELESS company will be there for you if you have a problem.
- great item

This vac was a pleasant surprise. It does a great job on gypsum dust. Nothing exhausts. I highly recommend.
- Great drywall vac that really works!
     By A3RU6MZIUAMSGT on 2007-11-02
This drywall vac really works! Regular vacuums get plugged up quick with the fine drywall sanding dust. I used this vac to sand out the drywall in my 30 x 40 x 12 foot garage with a mesh hand sander hooked to the 12 foot hose that comes with the vac. Sanded out half tha garage with it and did not have to sweep up a bit of drywall dust - didn't even have to wear a mask, the exhaust from the vac is so clean. I did the first half of the garage with just a hand sander and the dust was everywhere, I looked like a ghost when I would stop sanding and had to wear a respirator to keep from breathing the dust. I did not even have to change the bag until the job was done. I'll never sand drywall again without this vac. Love-Less has a great product here, even my wife likes it!Vacuum Drywall Hand Sander

     By A13XAY46MJ0VJ2 on 2007-07-17
I read all the wonderful reviews for this vacuum. I am so disappointed with it. It does not seem to be any different then my old shop vac.
I love not this loveless vacuum.

- no dust here!
     By A12J9JVHG1IVFT on 2007-12-03
I am a general contractor specializing in residential remodeling. I have tried so hard in the past to do the best I can to keep the dust down particularly during demolition activities. I had a blower that I would hang out a window and a good old wet/dry vac. But, there was always a fine layer of dust left behind that covered everything in the house. Not any more! This vacuum has solved my problems. It is worth every penny I paid for it and I wish I had purchased it years ago; all the other vacs I purchased (for much less) were worthless. I adapted a 4" x 10" register vent / starting collar to the system so as to create a larger collection orifice. And you need to be deligent about moving the 4x10 around to where you are working and when you are sweeping and it is important to use the vacuum bags. I still use my blower with a hose to blow dust out any nearby window and keep the doors closed or hang up an appropriate curtain. Using the combination of the Love-Less Vac, the blower and door/curtain all at once really has solved the problem; the Vac is the heart of the solution! P.S. what started me on the quest to find this vac was that I was told it was used by contruciton companies doing work in hospitals where dust collection was an absolute requirement.
