- Dimensions: 38"L x 38"W x 30.5"H
- Weight: 23.7 lbs.
The first thing to note about Graco’s pack ‘n play is that it is larger than many playards. This colorful, mesh-sided pen unfolds to a 38" x 38" square, rather than the rectangular shape of most others on the market. While this equates to needing more space, it also means that baby is provided with a bigger (and sturdier) area to play in. The playard’s stability comes from a four-footed metal frame, which-along with the four corner feet-gives it eight points of contact with the ground. | | The included bag makes storing and carrying easy. | Setup takes one person only minutes, from snapping the frame in place to securing the rigid, padded-top floor (cutely decorated with a fun bug pattern) with the Velcro fasteners. Breaking it down again is just as simple, and there is a convenient nylon storage/carrying bag included for easy portability. Bundled up, the pack ‘n play measures a compact 38 inches long by 10 inches square, but at nearly 24 pounds, it might be heavier than expected. Baby will appreciate the extra space, the friendly bug motif, being able to see mom and dad through the soft mesh walls, and the four interactive toys-one on each side. There’s a sun with a mirror at its center, teaching baby self-awareness. The ladybug’s body houses a squeak toy. Show them how to beep it to teach ear, eye, and hand coordination. Both the bee and the butterfly have wings that "flap" inside the playpen-one set creates a rattling noise when moved, while the other makes a crinkling sound. Baby will enjoy the different sounds, textures, and stimulations the toys offer, while parents will enjoy not having to pick them up or losing them. Care for the pack ’n play is easy: use a damp cloth or sponge with household soap to wipe vinyl, plastic, and metal parts; the bag can be machine washed and either line dried or tumbled on low. Should you need to replace the bag or floor pad, both are available for purchase separately.

Mom of eight says great!!!!!!! By A1UOUVIDNE0B2D on 2001-10-05
What a great playpen!!! With 8 children, we have had a few to compare it to. This one is wonderful. It sets up just like the standard Pack N Plays, which I find very easy. We've had a standard rectangular Pack N Play for several babies. That is the one we take when travelling, and I wanted one I could just leave set up someplace in the house. This one, straight from the box, was put up in about 30 seconds by my 14 year old. It is so bright and colorful and FUN. My newborn isn't too interested in that part yet, but my 2 year old didn't want to come out, when I put her in to explore it. They will probably both be using it. The bottom padded part is very nice, thicker than the other Pack N Play, bright and colorful, and I think will sponge off if needed. The toys on the side are really cute. My choice of this particular one was made because of the rating of use from birth to 3 years old (some of the others were only rated to 1 or 2 years), as well as how fun and colorful it looked, and its bigger size. The rectangular Pack N Plays are fine for napping or sleeping, but once the baby gets bigger, they are a bit cramped for playing. This one will be just perfect, as baby grows, for what I want it for.....playing in a safe, fun, stimulating environment when I or a sibling can't be right there. The only negative, which wouldn't deter me at all, is the carrying bag is a bit "cheaper" looking/feeling than the other Pack N Play that we have. I don't plan on toting this one, so for me, that isn't an issue, but it might be to someone.
. . . it is the true pack n play By APFFKLQX3EZRZ on 2001-08-25
I read all the reviews on the pack and plays and found that the reviews on this one were all great. I do not have a child but I watch my nephew very frequently (every other weekend). I wanted something that could be both a place to sleep and a place to play. With its bright colors and toys built in my nephews face turned to smiles. He is so comfortable that when he is done playing and tired he will put his head down to sleep. He loves the rattle butterfly and the crinkle butterfly. He plays with the toys on the pack n play more then the toys in the pack in play. Set up was a breeze. Before buying this pack n play we borrowed my brothers. What a pain to put together and take apart. Sometimes all the sides did not lock and you had to start all over. And take down, you prayed before you start that all the pieces snap apart and it will take you less then 20 minutes. With this pack n play it takes a minute, parts snap and unsnap quickly it is the true pack n play. The bag is a little cheaply made then other bags I've seen but fits perfectly. The padding on the bottom of the pack n play is thicker then others I have seen. It is larger then other pack n plays so you will have a hard time finding bedding and sheets that fit it properly.
Graco's done it again! By AGUSPZ2MQN77G on 2001-12-01
I have other Graco products, and I am especially pleased with this pack n play. It is such a great value for the price. Some of the other pack n plays we looked at only go to age 2 or even just 1, but this one goes to age 3. It sets up right out of the box-no tools required, which is great gor tool-impaired people like me! You just pull it right out of the box and with a couple shakes and clicks it's all set up. Folding it back up is just as easy, and it's very light for those who travel. The toys on all 4 sides are great- my daughter, Emily, loves to look at herself in the mirror and squeeze the bug that crinkles. The bright colors are beautiful, which most kids seems to like, and all 4 sides are see-through so you can have it face any way you like. I would recommend this item to anyone! If I had to do it over again, I would still pick this pack n play!
The perfect playard!! By A1W19AD9N5LYCX on 2001-08-01
My two year old son literally shook our old playard until the legs broke!! The Tot Block Pack 'n Play was the perfect replacement. It is the biggest playard we could find and the most durable and stable. He can't shake it like the other one. It sets up quickly and easily and is easy to take on trips, using only a little trunk space. The pad for the bottom is extra thick, so it's comfy, and it's covered with cloth instead of vinyl so baby's skin doesn't stick to it. The toys attached to the sides are bright and attractive, and they are easy for even my 6 month old to play with and enjoy. This playard was well worth the investment!
Great play yard By A142OSA7YCR8TM on 2001-08-23
We took our 3 month old to a store to try out playyards. We placed him in several of the pack and plays with bassinets etc and he smiled and cooed at his parents. But when we placed him in this bright colorful play yard, he could not take his eyes off the toys on the sides of the unit. He was mesmerized. This play yard is very easy to setup, takes about 1 or 2 minutes to setup or break down. It's very stable and I love the way the floor mat locks down with velcro for extra stability.
- Love this!!!!
     By AL1AZE6T1R2MV on 2001-07-19
I love this pack n play. It is larger than the other pack and plays. The other products seemed to small and dark looking. I didn't want my child to feel like he was in a cage. The bottom is padded for extra comfort. I highly recommend this pack and play. There is so many diffrent products out there that have diffrent options. But do you need them all??? This one is perfect.
- Best play yard ever
     By A16PJTM5OZ9RSZ on 2001-07-19
We were sold on this play yard the moment we saw it (and so is every adult who sees it in our home -- they all want to play with it). It is much roomier than other portable play yards, and so colorful! My now 5 month old baby loves to reach for the bug rattle and butterfly crinckler. I can fit her baby gym in there easily, so that she can be entertained for a long time while I get things done. All 4 sides are mesh, so she can see what is going on outside -- and she loves that! We take it with us on trips, and she falls asleep there to wake up happy in the morning and play with the decoractions on the sides. My only compklaint is that Graco ofers sheets for this model in dark blue only -- I'd like more variety.
- Bright Colors and Interactive Toys Make the Difference
     By A3JPFWKS83R49V on 2006-09-13
Graco Tot Block with Bugs is a pack and play that features figures of bugs on each of the sides for added fun. Kids enjoy playing with the bugs and each offers something slightly different. The bee has its two wings extended inside of the playpen and the wings make a rattling noise when moved. The butterfly's wings are also extended inside the playpen and they offer the sound of paper being crinkled. The ladybug has a squeak toy inside its body to create its own unique sound and the sun has a mirror for a child's enjoyment. Each offers its own type of stimulation and since they are built in, they are always there. There is no need to worry that the toys will be lost.
Besides the toys, the other reason kid's love the Graco Tot Block with Bugs is for its bright colors. Most playpens are dark blue or dark green in color and offer nothing that is visually appealing. This pack and play, however, offers combinations of bright yellow, green, red, and blue. Babies seem more entranced with this playpen than with the plain colored playpens. They like looking at the bright colors and playing with the interactive, built- in toys on the sides of the playpen.
Like other pack and plays, Graco Tot Block folds up for easy storage. You need to remove the pad from the inside before you fold the unit because the pad acts as a cover for the rest of the playpen. Once you have the playpen folded, it slips inside of the pad using Velcro straps to secure it in place. Once the pad has been wrapped, the entire unit then slips into a plastic bag with a zipper to keep it shut. This is simple enough, but I have noticed that this pack and play weighs a little more than others and it is also a little more awkward to remove and set up. It helps to have a second person to open it up and prepare it for use. But this is only a minor inconvenience because it can still be set up with little effort.
With all of the stimulation offered with this playpen, there is one possible disadvantage: It could keep your child from falling asleep. If your goal for buying this playpen is strictly to have a place for your youngster to play, then the added stimulation will be an asset. But if you want to place your child in the playpen for a quick nap, you might have some difficulty due to the attention- grabbing colors and interactive toys. These toys cannot be removed from the walls of the playpen so they could definitely create a distraction that could prevent some kids from falling asleep.
Graco recommends this playpen for smaller kids up to approximately two years of age. If your child is older, then you should not use this playpen because he/she might be able to climb out. Most kids age two or under, however, will be small enough to use this playpen. Also, even though there is no defined limit for the number of kids who can play inside this device, I think it should be limited to two. Any more than two and the kids will begin to get frustrated with the constant bumping into each other.
Overall, this is a very good pack and play from Graco and it ranks among my child's favorite playpens. The colors and interactive, built in toys make it a favorite among all kids and while it does weigh a little more than other pack and plays and does require more effort to unpack and set up, it still makes a good choice for parents of small children. The interactive toys can't get lost and the unit's bright colors make it appealing to children and adults alike.
- A great playpen!!!
     By A23L69LG8A3G8A on 2002-01-25
I love this playpen! I did a lot of research trying to find a square playpen with lots of room for my baby girl to play in. It has a toy on each side of the playpen for baby to play with (a mirror, butterfly with wings that rattle, etc. When I first got this for my daughter, she was 4 mos. old and she would hold on to the wings of the butterfly to pull up and stand. She's almost a year old now and she still loves to play in this. Also the pad of the playpen has colorful bugs on it and she loves to lay down and look at them. It has room for her to brush up on her walking skills - she'll walk around the inside of the playpen, round and round. Everyone that comes over our house wishes they had one for their baby. We have been very pleased with this playpen and would recommend it to anybody!
- Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

I love this pack in play. I am a first time mom and I chose this pack in play because of its bright colors and built in toys. The fact that it is a lot bigger and will hold more weight than most of the other pack in plays makes it a great buy because you will use it longer. My daughter loves it too. She is always happy when she is in it, and she sleeps wonderfully in it too. On the 4th of July this year she even stayed in it for 2 hours just looking around. She can't sit up yet, but I'm sure she'll enjoy it even more when she can play with the built in toys. I only wish it came with some sort of canopy or cover for the top because we are outside people and sometimes the bugs and sun can be hard to keep out. Anyway someone else must really love this pack in play because ours was stolen this week and that's the reason I'm shopping online - to purchase it again!
- This is the ONE!
     By on 2002-09-24
Bright, comfortable, stable, interesting, adorable, easy to use, and BIG! What more could you want in a play yard? This is the one to buy. We were sold on the size. Our daughter had used a "traditional" (aka small) pack and play at her grandparents house as a crib initially. Once she became mobile (around 6 months) we started looking at the pack and plays - even used the grandparent's one in our home. Rachel was ok with it - but got very upset after only a few minutes - she wanted to move! We found this Tot Block on display at the store, and were thrilled with the larger size and bright colors. Initially we had to put it up and take it down daily, as we were showing our home for sale .... but after the first time or two, that became very easy - it seems even easier than the traditional pack and play. Now that it's up "full-time" our 10 month old daughter is pretty good in it - some resistance now and then, but she pretty quickly finds something fun to do (either the built in toys or the stash of toys we keep in there) or she takes a nap. We all like the bright colors too. And we were able to get a royal blue sheet directly from Graco (although we've yet to use it, as the pattern on the mattress is engaging and adorable!) This has been our BEST baby purchase to date!
- We love this!!
     By on 2001-07-16
I am a first time grandmother, and my daughter has the playpens like everyone sell, they are too small, looked high and low, this is exactly what I am looking for. We wanted something larger. This is perfect, it has bright colors and is padded & easy to fold, and is very stable. Thanks so much!
- Best playpen ever made!!!
     By A3QX401FPTFKWR on 2001-12-08
I originaly bought this for my 19mo old nephew who killed his other playpen just by jumping around in it. It's extreamly sturdy and one of the largest playards I have ever seen. Not only does it fold and travel well, but kids love it. My nephew didn't want to come out of it. Even my 3 mo. old daughter couldn't stop staring at the bright and colorful butterfly and ladybug. Now I have to get another one for her.
- Baby cried at first, but now loves it!
     By A1GMU7X72E3QK9 on 2006-08-28
This was the best and biggest pack n play after searching all over the internet. I bought 2 for my son, and 1 for a friends baby. I wanted a big square one like I had when I was a baby and finally found one. Babies can actually move around in this one. When I first put my son in it he was overwhelmed and the big bug scared him and he cried, but he starting liking it in just a few minutes after I let him touch all the crinkly wings and the other bugs. He stairs at the sun mirror and talks to himself. He will play in there for 3 hours at a time. I have to remind myself to let him out and put him in his jumper or walker or let him crawl to get other forms of exercise. He will even takes naps in it. He even slept in it for a week when on vacation. The only draw back is that I couldn't find any sheets for it, but I was in luck finding someone that hand makes all kind of sheets for any size pack n play on ebay. She makes the square ones for this exact pack n play. Just go to ebay and click on ebay stores, and in the search box find a store, type in For Your Angel, and then click on Square Tot Block Sheets.
- The best playpen on the market.
     By A2EQ57E8RHUO8K on 2002-02-10
There are so many playpens to chose from now, but this Graco model is the best available in my opinion. It has one of the largest play areas, it is very colorful, and there are plenty of things to look at, touch, and explore on the sturdy mesh walls. Our son loves it. When you travel, the entire thing folds down small enough to fit in the trunk or back seat of the car. If way not be a bassinet, bath tub, changing table combo; however, if you want to sturdy play pen that your child can actually play in, this is the one to buy.
- Large play pen....36" x 36"
     By A244RRRF6K07XK on 2007-07-18
I was looking for a good size playpen for home(not travel). This was the only one I could find. I assume most don't use playpens anymore, but I use it for safety.
Positive:
Love the size and I use it for two grandchildren at one time. The primary colors are great with the Bug rattle, crinkle flower etc. on each side of the pen, attached to the mesh. Has good room to move around in. Much better than the travel pack'n play sizes especially when you want to use it at home.
Negative:
Hard to move from room to room.....when you pull it up to move or close it, the pen is loose and opens all the time.....old playpens used to just fold close and you could move them easily and you just opened it up and pressed to locked. This one is harder to lock and harder to move around, especially for one person.
- Not a Typical Pack & Play but I LOVE IT!
     By A343CYO040OLX9 on 2002-07-27
I love this play yard. It is so colorful and when I first placed my son in it he loved to look around at the bright colors; then he liked to play with the butterfly and bug. He is now 9 months old and giggles & stares at himself in the mirror. I am so glad he likes it! All of my friends registered and got pack&plays that are narrow and have great features like changing trays etc. I thought I would miss that but I don't. The bottom is cushy and he sleeps in there fine. We all took our kids on vacation and my play yard buttoned up perfectly. It is just as compact and portable. The only difference was that my friend's pack & plays were not as large when set up. This is more like a PLAY PEN. The pack & plays are narrow. A drawback is that you can NOT put a pack&play sheet on this b/c this play yard is square, while the others are rectangular. It doesn't matter to me...I put a regular sheet in and tuck it under the whole mat. I really am glad I chose this one. It is colorful, has things to look at and play with, and it is soft and comfortable...this equals great playtime AND sleeptime.
- Great Travel Bed for Twins
     By AJW30RHOZC4OY on 2002-12-16
We recently bought this to replace a regular sized Pack n Play that had seen better days. We've used it for our twins on one weekend away. Our twins are good-sized 14 month olds. They had more than enough room to be comfortable sleeping in this together. Although this seemed comfy enough for our boys to sleep in, I was a little disappointed that it does not come with a sheet for the padded floor. We had hoped we would be able to use this at home for a safe place for the babies to play once in a while. Unfortunately, within seconds of being in it for the first time, our babies climbed up and out of this. I wish the sides of these kinds of things would be higher so that we had someplace to leave the babies for a minute and know they are safe. The bright colors and fun decorations of this are very appealing to our guys. It's great until they decide to climb out. This unit is very, very easy to set up and take down. Even easier than our old, smaller one. Overall, although I hated to spend the big bucks on this thing, it seems like we will get our money's worth out of it when we go out of town. Too bad they don't make a big mesh zippered lid for these to keep babies in.
- Neat - o!
     By A39Y0OQJJIRTL on 2005-08-04
We have this one and love it. My son typically doesn't like a pack and play or even to be in the crib too long. But, it is great for those days when they are small and you want to be outside at an outing and don't want to have to sit and hold your child all day. When my son was a little baby, we pulled out the mat and hooked up the toy dangler and he was amazed for hours. My son is now 14 months old and we recently took a 3 day vacation and took it along. We set it up in the hotel room and it worked perfectly. It also saved us the money of having to rent a crib at the hotel. He likes all the animals on the sides. Not to mention, what a dream to put up and take down. We have an older model pack and play and it is very hard to get the sides up and down. This one is so easy! Highly recommend.
- COLORFUL
     By on 2001-07-16
I THINK THAT THIS PRODUCT IS VERY COLORFUL AND STANDS OUT FROM THE REST OF THE PLAY YARDS. KIDS LOVE BRIGHT COLORS AND I THINK THEY'LL LOVE BEING IN THIS PLAY YARD.
- Very spacious and easy to set up
     By on 2002-02-02
I bought this Pack 'n Play when my son was a few months old and we have gotten a lot of use out of it. We take it whenever we're going out of town or sleeping over at Grandma's. It folds down pretty compactly and has it's own storage bag. I remember the instructions said 1 - minute set up and I was laughing while getting it out of the box. I knew it would take several minutes. Boy, was I surprised when it was completely set up in less than 1 minute. Just as easy to put away. Now I keep it set up in for a little one I babysit occasionally. Still works great.
- Don't look any further, this one is the best.
     By on 2002-09-15
This unit really does set up in less than a minute, it is sturdy and simple and I think it is a bonus that it doesn't come with a bassenet, etc. We purchased a different playyard previous to this, and when it was delivered we were certain that we had made a mistake-it was so heavy, and lots of loose parts to work with-It was a Koolcraft model. We sent it back and got the Tot Block and we are so glad we did! It is simple, sturdy, and fun. Don't make the same mistake we did, get the tot block from the start. You'll be glad you did.
- Great investment!
     By A11RCW9GHJID1F on 2005-05-20
I purchased the Tot Block Pack 'n Play when my first child in 2002 was a few months old and am now using it with my second child. I absolutely love the size and convenience of this pack 'n play. We've taken it with us on vacation several times and it was the perfect place for our children to sleep. It's larger than your ordinary pack 'n play which, in my opinion, makes this so much better! The bright colorful colors attract the children's attention and the rattles and mirror on the side help entertain the children when you need to take that much needed bathroom break! :) My children never really liked to sit anywhere too long, but when I need a safe place to put the younger one in while I make meals, do laundry, etc...she happily sits in this long enough to get things done. All in all, a great purchase, very durable (looks like when I first bought it) and well worth it.
- The BEST Pack N Play you can purchase!!!
     By ALYJBEO60U147 on 2006-01-13
I have two of these playpens! I actually purchased the older model of this pack n play in 1997 for my now 8 year old son. I still have the older version (which is the same except the pattern) and I have purchased the newer version as well. I do childcare in my home and I now have four children of my own and the first one I purchased has been through it all. It's still standing strong and it's the best pack n play for your money. I also have a rectangular one and this Graco Pack n play is by far better than the smaller rectangular ones. It is way more quilted and comfy for them to sleep in. It's cute. It's sturdy. It's easy to put together and take down. There's lots of room for them to play in. The back may seem a bit cheap but my first one has lasted over 8 years now and I've taken it everywhere. Excellent buy. I'm still using both of mine!!!
- Lots of space for baby to play!
     By ARNZWWBI1Y2EV on 2007-01-05
I bought this product because I was looking for something a bit larger than the traditional rectangular play pens. I was looking for a safe place where my daughter could play without feeling claustrophobic or contained. This one worked like a charm! She is happy and I am happy! This playpen has easy set-up so you can fold it and take it over to grandma's at anytime :)It's fun, easy to carry, and most importantly easy to clean. The only precaution I have to give is that it is rather large and WILL take up a large chunk of your living room so be prepared to give up some space.
- Essential!
     By A11WB0VVT8XT4M on 2002-05-24
It's large, portable, entertaining, and sturdy. My son won't nap in it because of the bright colors, but he plays happily in it for the few minutes every day that I need to get him off the floor. We've taken it on trips easily, and it sets up in just a minute.
- Double the Size, Double the Fun!
     By on 2002-09-25
I registered for this Pack 'n Play when I found out I was having twins. I liked that it was big, easy to set up, easy to clean and large enough to put both kids in. This is one of the few playpens that resemble those of yester-years. I don't know why manufacturer's stopped making the big square playpen but, thank you Graco for hearing this Mommy's prayers!
- Wonderful!
     By on 2002-09-28
I just had my baby 12 days ago and already he LOVES the Tot Block Pack-n-Play. It's bright and cheerful, which we like. He already appears to be stimulated by the bright colors. Although he doesn't have much "alert" time, he seemed very fascinated by the butterfly and appeared to be trying to focus on it! Or maybe it was gas...Like many other parents, our decision to buy this variety was its larger size. Many of my friends warned that their children grew out of the pack-n-play's with the bassinets within 6 months. My only small warning- if you have dogs, the squeaker will drive them nuts. Our bichon is convinced that the baby has one of his toys!
- Great playyard!
     By A10ID9TVD8SMEX on 2002-09-17
We had this same playyard as a hand me down from a niece. Ours had ABC letters on the sides, so we called it "Cell Block A B C D." LOL It is nice and big, and a good place to corral the baby when you need to. Plus, it is big and colorful and they love it! Those other ones are so tiny that the baby does not want to be in there.
- This is really small!
     By on 2002-12-18
My mom and dad bought this for my little sister. She is 18 months old. It is SO SMALL!!! It is like she is in a cage or something, there is no room for her to move around in it. My mom took it with us to my Gramma's house for Gillian to sleep in, but she kept waking up beacause she didn't have any room. Plus the bottom is really really hard too, so maybe that kept waking her up. My mom and Dad really liked the high sides so Gillian culdn't climb out. My mom and dad said it was way too much money, though and would not tell anyone else to buy it. Bobby, Gillians big brother
