  • 2Pac lives!

    By A2YLPY962LS3US on 2001-04-09
Don't misunderstand. This is not a "2Pac faked his own death" writing. I do, in fact find it amazing that an albulm released over 5 years after the man's death could be so on-point. Honestly, most music recorded this year, isn't up to today's standards, but 2Pac somehow...transcends time?...is timeless?

Anyway, I would have given this collection 6 stars if possible. Only because I gave All Eyez On Me 5 stars, and I think this one is far better. This is 2Pac in his prime...2Pac at his best.

According to the CD insert, this one was recorded during his Makaveli period, but the moods of the songs seem to span his carrer. While there are the tracks like M.O.B. that could have been on Makaveli or Thug N U Thug N Me that has All Eyez On Me written all over it, you've also got songs like Everything They Owe, which sings of restitution for misdeeds visited upon blacks in America, that are 2Pac at his most militant...2Pacalypse Now.

It's important to understand that this IS NOT a collection of songs that didn't make his previous albulms. Until The End Of Time is an unreleased albulm, on par with 2Pac's best recordings.

    Poetic, relevant, good music.

Whether he's actually dead or not can be debated on and on. But you cannot question the fact that his words will live on forever.

Remember me as an outcast outlaw,
Another albulm out, that's what I'm about, more,
Gettin' raw 'til the day I see my casket,
Burried as a G, while the whole world remembers me,
    Until the end of time.

    -2Pac

This album is the fourth album of new material released by 2pac, and surprisingly it is easier to compare it to albums he released when he was alive than his latest posthumous releases. It seems to be somewhere between Makaveli and All Eyez on Me. To those of you who may have been dissapointed by the posthumous releases of 2Pac or other artists, you will find no such disappointment here.

Most of the tracks have been remixed from their original counterparts and bootegged versions, but most are for the better because of it. This is a true 2Pac album, unlike Still I Rise which was a 2Pac + Outlawz albulm, and with two discs of material there is no shortage of 2Pac.

Some of the best tracks on the CD are: Ballad of a dead soulja, until the end of time, letter to my unborn, when thugs cry, and let em have it. 2Pacs lyrical ability is showcased very well in this package. I reccomend this to anyone interested in 2Pac, either a long-time fan or first time listener. This new album will not dissapoint you.

I am very satisfied. The only thing I had a problem with was some of the censoring of some of 2Pac's lyrics, although it only happened a few times throughout the entire album. Also, some of the tracks were dramatically altered from what 2pac had intended (as seen in unreleased versions). Such tracks are Closest Road Dogs and When Thugz Cry. Closest road dogs was a duet with Big Syke, not a solo song. When Thugz Cry had a really good chorus that was not included in the final cut. However, these are only minor issues, and both of those songs still sound great. This is a great rap album. Buy it and be amazed.

  • EXCELLENT!

I was so excited to hear about this release back in January, and from then on, I was counting down the days to March 27th. Yet on the way to the music store yesterday, I had butterflies in my stomach. I kept thinking, "What if it's not all I hoped it to be?" Well, it is everything I hoped it would be and more.

If you're a Tupac fan and you're just a little skeptical at buying this album, DON'T BE. Each song is wonderful. And the songs are from his Makaveli days, so you can be sure to expect his subliminal messages about still being alive. It's the longest Tupac album yet, but you need not worry. Unlike R U Still Down, Until The End Of Time is quality over quantity.

The best songs are Ballad Of A Dead Soulja, Letter 2 My Unborn, Happy home, All Out (awesome beat), N***** Nature Remix, When Thugz Cry, Words 2 My First Born, Until The End Of Time RP Remix and finally the Let Em Have It Remix, which is destined to become a 2Pac classic. Terrific party track.

If you consider yourself a true Tupac fan, you've got to pick this album up. It was the best idea in the world for Afeni Shakur to allow Death Row to work on Until The End Of Time with her and her crew. This is the best posthumous Tupac release so far; yes, I even like this better than Makaveli - The 7 Day Theory. So in essence, it's the best Pac release since All Eyez On Me. Until The End Of Time is an outstanding masterpiece.

  • Makaveli Lives On!

    By on 2001-04-05
this is a great CD, fully worthy of putting 2Pac's name on it. it's got some tight tracks on it, including ballad of a dead soulja, world wide mob figgaz, thug n u thug n me, until the end of time,... and there's plenty more. what makes this CD great is you get to hear more of 2Pac's insights, visions, sorrow, pain, and struggles. 2Pac is still the realest rapper ever to live and with this CD, his messages and ideas remain loud and clear. unlike all these watered down hip hop lyrics that are played out and commercialized today, 2Pac's music was intended to not only entertain, but to communicate powerful ideas and provoke people to think and stand up for themselves. amaru and death row did an outstanding job on this cd, can't wait for the other double album to drop in the fall. tupac shakur lives on!

  • "Until the End of Time" Tupac will be the best rapper

    By A1E5R7RZW1NADZ on 2001-04-04
Once again, the late Tupac Shakur proves to the world that he was/is one of the greatest musical artists to walk into a recording studio. This posthumous release features twenty-plus tracks guaranteed to have you bumping your head to the exquisite beats produced by the greatest names in the rap game. Johnny "J", DJ Quik, and even the coveted TrackMasters lend a hand in production. Guest appearances by KCi & JoJo, Lil' Mo, and the inspiring RL guarantee this album platinum status. From the first, adrenaline-pumped track "Ballad of a Dead Soulja" to the final, inspirational "Until the End of Time" your ears will be treated to hours of content. Whether or not you've liked rap before, everybody is sure to come to a new appreciation for the art of poetry once you've listened to the profound poetic tales that Tupac has told. Overall, this album is an excellent buy whether you're a rap fiend, or just beginning to appreciate the art. Tupac's "Until the End of Time" is sure to please.

  • EXCELLENT
    By A3A8P0NXR4IUOD on 2001-05-01
While Tupac Shakur was alive he was unquestionably the most influential icon in hip-hop history. He was at his prime when he was gunned down on September 7th, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Even though it has been five years since the passing of Tupac he has continued to make an impact on his fans, as well as the music world with his post-humanous releases. His latest album, Until the End of Time definitely does not disappoint, remaining on par, and maybe even better, than his previous works. This double CD is unbelievable. Tupac continues to rock the mic with the same poetic genius, prolific style, and feeling that made him a legend. Tupac is by far the most influential hip-hop artist ever. His music is innovative, powerful, and true. He passionately believes in the things he raps about, which in turn commands respect from all those who listen to his music. Until the End of Time is one of Tupac's many triumphs, a great CD that compares to the likes of Makaveli and All Eyez on Me. In short Until the End of Time is a record made for anybody who likes excellent music that means something. So if your tired of all that commercial crap, pop this record in your player and let Tupac take you away.

  • 3.5 STARS, NOT 4 (DUE TO WACK REDONE TRACKS)
    By A2SFZIE5JOX8F7 on 2001-04-13
Here is my review of the 'new' Tupac double CD:

The worst redone tracks: Words 2 My 1st Born (This is a dope 'DJ Quik' beat, don't get me wrong, but this is another song altogether. The original version is jazzy, laid back, and just perfection. Plus, it featured Nutso, but this redone version sounds like another song and you don't get the same vibe from the original. Above The Law's verses are weak too.)

Thug N Me, Thug N U (To tell you the truth, they really messed this song up by putting bits and pieces of Pac's original lyrics, then adding K-Ci & JoJo. What they should have done is omitted this track from the album altogether and just included 'If You Play Your Cards Right,' then put K-Ci & JoJo in that song, which featured a JoJo- sounding vocalists, no Jodeci!)

When Thugz Cry (It doesn't take a genius to know that they really messed up the whole vibe of this song. Why don't the powers that be at Pac's record label understand that some songs you shouldn't mess with because you'll just mess them up.)

Why You Turn On Me (Don't the powers that be get it by now? The whole vibe of the original song is gone, plus the song was specifically made for Wendy Williams, so why did the omit the lyrics containing her name from the whole song?)

U Don't Have To Worry (The original had the same percussion as the original 'Friends,' but the powers that be had to mess up another song, I guess. What happen to Storm? I swear, I wish that somebody would leak CD-quality copies of the originals because the record label keeps messing up Pac's original songs.)

N***** Nature (If the original version was the one on 'Too Gangsta 4 Radio,' then they should have put that version on this CD instead of the version on this CD featuring Lil' Mo. I'm getting tired of the record labels messing up Pac's songs!)

    The best redone tracks:

Happy Home (This song is tight. If you heard the original version, you would say that the redone version is way better. It sounds like Pac recorded the song a month ago or something.)

The ones that should have been kept the same: Runnin' On E (If they just remove the stupid piano chord, the song would be perfect. Who's idea to add that stupid piano chord was it anyway?)

Songs I heard for the first time that are the bomb if they were redone or not: Letter 2 My Unborn (The replayed sample is the same as the original 'Thug N Me, Thug N U' song, so you know what time it is. This is one of them Pac songs that you can't get mad at because it sounds perfect.)

    Until The End Of Time

Let 'Em Have It f/ SKG (However, why did they omit some of her words?)

    Ballad Of A Dead Soulja

Worldwide Mob Figurez. (Although, it's obvious that the Outlawz recorded their verses after Pac's death and the song is fake.)

Songs that sound 'alright' redone: F*** Friendz (I always liked the original version, but hated the 'Too Gangsta 4 Radio' version. However, this new version sound cool. Although, the vibe has changed dramatically.)

Overall, I'm glad that they released this 2Pac double CD, so I'll give it 3.5 stars (which looks like four), but for the next Pac CD, please don't mess up the original vibes, don't put the same songs with different mixes on the CDs, and don't replace Pac's chosen guest rappers with contemporary artists.

  • What a CD!
    By on 2001-05-31
Tupac Shakur is not your typical rapper. He does not rap about things that are written just to sell records, he didn't do videos with himself coated in gold and platinum. Tupac was a poet and spoke about real life. This CD "Until The End of Time" is one of the best CDs I've heard (in any genre.) Tupac is unlike any other but if I was to compare him to anyone I wouldn't compare to people like Biggie Smalls and Jay Z.... but rather to people like Bob Marley and John Lennon. Tupac had something to say, and if you've ignored him so far because of the negative image he got in the media, PLEASE check this CD out. Tupac may not have been a perfect person, but he had a huge heart and an even bigger mind. This CD transcends rap music! My favorite tracks are "Ballad of a Dead Soulja" "Letter to my Unborn" and "This Ain't Livin." On one of his songs Tupac Shakur said tha the wanted to be a "living legend" when he died. With the continual release of CDs like this (far superior to the hip-pop on the radio these days) he is.

  • Unbelievable
    By A21OXT6BIH10R1 on 2001-06-20
This is the best 2pac album since All Eyes On Me. This album has a lot more calmer songs. You might not like it at first because a lot of the choruses will sound strange at first, but after listening to it twice you will love this album. The first cd is the better cd, every song on it is good. On the second cd would be better if they didnt have the remixs that already on the album. And "When I Get Free" is on R U Still Down? On cd one the best songs are "Ballad Of A Dead Soulja," "Friendz," "Let Em Have IT," "Breathin'," "Everything They Owe," and "Until the End of Time." All though those are the ones that stick out you can listen to it the whole way through. On cd 2 "My Closest Roaddogz," N**** Nature," "When Thugz Cry," "Lastonesleft," and "This Aint Livin." For anyone one who likes 2pac this is an unbelievable album. and anyone who doesnt like 2Pac this album would change your mind. A great album. BUY IT!

  • Anarchy in the UK
    By A314A17LEJAW76 on 2001-06-27
As a 38 yr old white ex-punk from the UK, I always gave so-called Gangsta Rap a wide berth. I started listening to 2pac's Greatest Hits only recently, and have been mesmerised by the man's craft as a song writer. I bought Thug Life, Still I Rise and then Until the End of Time. I expected the new album to be a collection of weaker material from the archives, which wasn't good enough to appear on earlier albums.I was therefore surprised and delighted that this record absolutely hums. Nobody who forks out twenty quid for this will be disappointed, it's a fine piece of work. Best tracks are Lil Homies, Breathin, MOB, Lastonesleft and plenty besides. One or two tracks have an 'unfinished' feel about them, and I'm sure that if 2pac had lived, he would have have tidied up the lyrics a little to match his usual high standards. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars, and would advise anybody who appreciates quality songwriting to give your ears to a man who has touched many lives with his music. Buy it now. Play it often. RIP.

  • 2pac's legacy lives on!!!
    By on 2001-03-29
I heard this whole album a month in advance but I still went out and bought it yesterday. I'm tired of hearing peeps whine about the remixed beats, in my opinion, most of the new beats are off the hook. Overall, my favorite tracks are "ballad of a dead soulja", "letter 2 my unborn", "thug n u thug n me", "let em have it remix", both versions of "until the end of time", "when i get free"...hell, the whole cd is dope!!! don't forget to pick it up, and also coming may 1, all eyez on me and makaveli are getting re-released so get those too if you haven't already! one

  • STILL A VITAL VOICE, BUT WHERE IS THE PROMOTION ?.
    By AU0HG8551G0HY on 2001-05-17
2pac returns triumphantly on this 2 CD set and proves that he is still a vital voice in contemporary music. The album showcases a broad range of thoughts and styles from the tender introspection of 'Until The End Of Time' and 'Letter to My Unborn', to the wild, fun party cuts 'Let 'Em Have It' and the unrestrained anger of 'All Out' which declares war on Tupacs enemies past, present and future.

While Tupacs voice, lyrics and flow have remained as fresh and relevant as when he was alive, the production obviously suffers without his guidance. Rather than chosing to release the raw original versions, they have decided to commercalise the songs to lend them chart appeal. This is most noticeable on 'Words 2 My First Born' where the emotional weight and significance of the subject matter, is set to a dancehall style instrumental. 'Everything They Owe' also suffers due to an inexcusably sloppy production, where the verses run out of time with the backing track.

This leads me to my second gripe; if they have so obviously altered the production to give the album commercial appeal, why have they failed to promote it ?. .

2pac was and remains, a hip-hop legend and he deserves more respect and care, both in terms of production and promotion.

I strongly recommend this album, although purely on the strength of 2pacs vision and artistry.

  • Please, no more 2Pac albums
    By A1HFVQZIDK7UUD on 2002-08-22
I know the title of my review alone probably got me a lot of unhelpful votes, but I just can't totally stand by this album. When it begins hard to tell whether or not the record company is releasing posthumous Pac albums to continue the legacy or just to make money, then it's time to stop. What's the point of this album, anyway? Most of the songs have already been bootlegged right after Pac died: they've been heard on Makaveli 2, 3, 5, 8, 9...well, you know what I mean. You can also tell in some places that these songs are unfinished, so you begin to ask yourself, as the editorial reviewer said, "Did Pac even like these songs?"

First of all, I highly doubt that Tupac even knew who R.L. was, so why is the R&B artist wailing the chorus to the otherwise dope title track? I'm sure that Pac didn't work with Lil' Mo either on "N's Nature (remix)" (she says things like "how gangsta is that" and "holla", which is slang from 2001), but at least her contribution made the song very enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of Lil' Mo, but just like she did with Ja Rule's "Put It On Me", she livened up the track, making this remix better than the original. While we're on the "good song" list, other notables are "Breathin'", "Good Life" (the choruses to both songs are really addictive), "Happy Home"--really, most of Disc 1, because by Disc 2 I felt like I heard all these songs before. However, it is good to finally get "Bad Boy Killas" (renamed "Runnin on E" for obvious reasons) on the CD format in good condition, even though it is missing the verse that was used for Scarface's 1998 "Homies and Thuggs".

But the flaws on this album are too obvious to ignore. On "Everything They Owe", the production is poorly cued with Pac's vocals as Pac sounds like he's rapping off-beat. "Thug N' You Thug in Me" (original and remix with K-Ci and JoJo) is tolerable, but enough with the 2Pac/K-Ci/JoJo collaborations already. Also, songs like "M.O.B." and "F'n With the Wrong N" weren't finished or released for a reason: when Pac didn't like a song, he just went on to recorrd a better one. Moreover, most these songs on this album are ones that you heard before but they're unnecessarily remixed (except for "N's Nature").

If the record company wanted to add some flava to this so-so release, they could have included some tracks from his anticipated One Nation album, where East meets West Coast. There were some real dope tracks with him and guests like Big Daddy Kane, Buckshot, and Freddie Foxxx. Oh well, too late now. I still love 2Pac and will continue to bump this and his other albums, but to the A&Rs, let the thug rest in peace. Tupac is still one of the best rappers, but he ain't the only rapper. The game has changed now. It's time to move on.

  • tupac still rockin
    By A1QL9XOJVWVMPP on 2001-03-28
This album is one of the best Tupac albums ever released. Not as good as "All Eyes On Me" or "Greatest Hits" but still bangin. The lyrics bring back memories and the beats are some of the best you are gonna hear this year. The first song "Ballad of a Dead Soulja" will let you know you spent your money right, awesome song. Other great songs: "F***Friends" "Breathin" "All Out" "Thug N U Thug Me Remix" "Everything They Owe" "Until the End of Time". And these are just from disc 1. Disc 2 isn't quite as good, but still better than 90% of the crap that comes out today. If you like Tupac, you probably already intended to buy this cd. I'm telling all hip hop fans to pick this up! I got this cd from best buy for 16 washingtons.

  • The Legacy Lives On
    By A3SCJ51JCK5YFE on 2001-03-29
What an album! Almost 5 years past his death, 2Pac's work remains superior to anything out there right now. The title track Until the End of Time is extremely inspirational and may be his best song ever. It really encompasses all aspects of Pac and is incredibly diverse in its lyrical content. Songs like Happy Home and Letter to My Unborn are extremely moving. The Outlaw tracks are classic as usual and I was glad to see them dishing it out to Jay-Z who lately is acting like they were tight or something. Most of the songs have been remixed from bootlegged versions, sometimes for the better but still there are a few songs that have been butchered. Why You Turn On Me is the main one that comes to mind. Also, the mixes to Friends and Thug Nature on this album do not compare to the ones included on Death Row's Too Gangsta For Radio. The beats don't come off as raw as Pac would have probably liked them and a lot of it is watered down by especially by the choruses but Johnny J, QD 3, Suge and Afeni and the other producers did their best. What I didn't like is how some of Pac's words were dubbed out for seemingly no reason in some cases. I hope this doesn't happen again. Other than that, the album's classic for the most part and should be picked up.

  • awesome stuff, great lyrics, 2pac is the greatest rapper.

  • Pac at His Greatest is Long Gone
    By A3OMULJI0PSEF9 on 2006-06-08
There have been many, many albums released after 2Pac's death, and many of them have been pretty good, at least. However, it is clear that by the time "Until the End of Time" was released, there really isn't a great deal of quality, original 2Pac music that hasn't been released yet. That is not to say that Until the End of Time is a bad album, it really isn't. It just isn't up to the same quality as his earlier work. The beats, for example, are sometimes odd and clunky. The most obvious example of this is "F--- Friends," which just sounds awkward. There are good tracks here, though. "Ballad of a Dead Soulja" and "Letter 2 My Unborn" are both high quality and very good Pac songs. However, this quality is rare in Until the End of Time. Most of the tracks are just so-so.

Even still, this is still a fairly good cd, and I still recommend it to any 2Pac fan that just can't get enough. However, all Pac fans should own "Me Against the World," "All Eyez on Me," and "Don Killumnati: The 7 Day Theory," before even thinking about purchasing "Until the End of Time."

Overall, Until the End of Time is a pretty good CD, but it is clear that the best of 2Pac has already passed. Recommended only to die-hard Pac fans.

  • Great CD.. thanks Amazon
    By on 2001-03-29
I really enjoyed Tupac's CDs All Eyez on Me and Makaveli and this new double Cd, Until the End of Time, is taken from the same Death Row Records sessions that produced those two classics. The fact of the matter is that Tupac is still light-years ahead of the current rappers such as Jay Z and Cash Money Records, who seem to focus on material items with some very lame lyrics. Tupac, on the other hand reflects a full array of emotions and song concepts. There's "F*** Friendz" bouncing over an almost Tango-like beat as Tupac spits some game to a woman and then there's the almost war-like "All Out" which opens with a helicopter noise and has Tupac furiously dissing his "opponents" in the rap game.

My two favorite songs (which demonstrate the great balance Tupac always maintained in his music) are "Ballad of a Dead Soulja" and "Letter 2 My Unborn".. their beats, lyrics, and the way Tupac raps them are almost the different end of the spectrum, but both are incredible. This is one of the best CDs I've ever bought. If you like any of the Tupac's previous work or have been tricked into thinking Jay Z and DMX are real rap music, DEFINITELY not miss this CD. I'd put this up there with his best.

  • yes he's dead. that doesn't mean this is any good.
    By on 2001-03-29
Hello? This is a bunch of embarassing outtakes that Pac himself wouldn't have wanted to put his name on. 2Pac would never have wanted to go out like this, Ms. Shakur. Stop pimping his legacy... And the fact that fans are so indiscriminating that they will love anything with his name on it is even more embarassing. Do you not have ears? Want lyrics? Get Aceyalone and study him. That's real hip-hop.

    By A32GNNOP2V7MUH on 2001-03-30
Although 2Pac's Until the End of Time, is not really the end of time, but it's the closest you'll ever get. Amazing beats, phat rap, and 2pac. His legend lived forever. He inspires us, years after his physical departure. His soul still remains. We will always have our eyez on you, pac! Live on. If the 7 day theory was how you wanted it, check this out. Every song is a hit. When Thugs cry, ballad of a dead soldier, and Why U turn on me. "It's all about Versace, you copy my style, five shots didn't drop me, I took it and smiled.". I gots two words to say about this collection: 5 stars ain't enough...

  • 2PAC CAN'T BE STOPPED!
    By on 2001-04-14
I know youve read the about reviews and heard "remix this, remix that" but what those "guys" fail to realize is many of Tupac's unreleased masters contained samples and unfinished. Some samples could not be cleared, some were not complete songs, however you look at it Tupac and Outlawz often go back before a albums release and "fine tune" the songs. This was done by 2pac on The Makaveli album as well as All Eyez On Me. The songs are the best of 2PAC in his WAR stage, Makaveli. If you enjoyed the Makaveli album, All Eyez On Me, Still I Rise, Me Againsta The World, or Greatest Hits you WILL enjoy Until The End Of Time. Its funny how much better this album is than Still I Rise. I think beacuse of Suge KNight being involved in this project 2PAC's mom, Afeni, could not edit out her sons disses to artists like Jay Z, Mobb Deep, Biggie, etc. GET THIS CD YOU WONT BE SORRY. One love to 2pac and DEATH ROW RECORDS.

  • Until the end of time?...when?, its only been 5 years
    By on 2001-05-05
lets face it yall TUP's long gone. and deathrow is livin off old matertial. NOTHING is new. "remixed" nu uhh. its an unfinished song that was re-worked with out the sample that was not cleared for previous release. tup was a very good rapper. but Deathrow is selling him for everything he is worth. they have even used interview clips in the videos to fill in space. MOVE ON GUYS....

I have always liked 2 Pac, but this was the first album I bought. It's one of the greatest albums ever! He was an incredible artist with words. My favorites are "Words to my first born" and "Let em have it". A MUST HAVE in your Hip-Hop/Rap collection.

  • Good Post-Humous material
    By A3C6ZCBUNXUT7V on 2004-11-05
This is a good cd from Pac. Could have been a one disc classic if they didn't reuse 3 songs from other cd's (one from " The Show Soundtrack" & 2 From "Too Gangsta For Radio") and put 3 songs on both of the cd's with different beats. It's a shame how Afeni & Suge change his original material to get more money and get newer producers and artist who never met Pac (and change his old beats and take off the rappers he originally did the songs with) as he would never collaborate with most of them. But anyway it is a good CD and has some classics. it has a few gangsta songs and dis' songs as well, and his deep songs that he tells so well and makes you "feel". A must have CD.

I like 2Pac, but my favorites are the 'before his death albums'. But Until the End of Time is the best 2Pac album after his death (the other is Better Dayz), with many cool beats (made by Johnny J), but if u want the best songs, search for the Original tracks ;)

    The best songs:
    All Out
    Breathin
    Happy Home
    Until the End of Time
    Letter 2 My Unborn
    Let'em Have it
    Good Life
    etc.

    Recommened album!

I didn't buy this album. I downloaded several songs. It was produced by Suge and has mostly new material. The songs are boring though. The only classic is "Until the End of Time".

Don't buy this album. Just download the songs you like.

  • Sounds better on 2nd hearing.

Let me just say Tupac, to me, is the best rapper ever. He just had a way to make you feel emotions with his songs. I have heard many of these songs before on various bootlegs. When I first heard Until the End of Time I was a little disappointed in the production. Tupac ALWAYS sounds tight, but I felt the production was a little weak. Some of the songs sound totally different from their original versions. I felt the new production was a little 'light'. The edge was gone from the underground versions and original beats. The new productions on some tracks I felt were a little too laid back with no-name singers used on almost every track that I know had Tupac been alive would not have been there. I listened to it this morning however and put the bootleg versions out of my mind and guess what, It was really jammin'! The problem with having bootlegs is that you get used to the sound of a certain song and when it's changed there's that disappointment. But had I not heared any of these songs before as a lot of people have not, I would consider this a great album.

The legacy continues. "Until The End Of Time" continues to remain true to what 2pac stood for and is as hard felt as all his previous albums. The beats are awesome and the lyrics are excellent. I highly recommend this album to anyone who is already a fan or anyone who wants to get a good idea of who 2Pac a.k.a Makaveli was and what he meant to all his millions of fans.
