  When I purchased my Coleman Comfort Control Quickbed (a decision I was less than thrilled with for many reasons), I found that I desperately needed an Air Pump and opted for this model after carefully weighing my other options. The reason I decided on this was because:
  (1) of the name-brand,
  (2) the fact that it seemed to be very handy with its recharging abilities and with its lightweigh features,
  (3) the fact that my lungs cannot substitute for the action of my machine superior,

  (4)and because it came with more accessories that were easily seen inside its packaging than all the other pumps on display at the time (perhaps not the best reasoning behind a buy, but the one I used anyhow).

  Happily, I can profess that I made the right decision and that I actually get use out of this model long after the bed decided to enter the plastic graveyard. In fact, it was the main reason the bed lasted as long as it did, holding its charge for days at a time while I tried to find the looming lungs that seemed to only exhale from somewhere inside its interior. Equally quaint was the accessory that let it work as a deflation tool, allowing me to take air out in moments instead of having to work and maneuver the last gasps out of something that wished to defy me.

  These days I take it with me everywhere, using this beast to place air in inflatable chairs that I carry to crowded homes with minimal seating arrangements and when I feel like doing something on the proverbial fly. It comes highly recommended!

  I bought this pump in conjunction with a Coleman Comfort Control Air Mattress and I'm very pleased with both. The pump filled the air mattress firmly in under a minute when plugged in, and the pump seems to hold a charge quite well. The nozzles included make the pump ideal when inflating a Coleman air mattress, as they're custom made for each other. The air pump takes the next step, though, in including additional nozzles that would (presumably) enable one to easily fill other inflatable items (short of a basketball or bike tire). The only minor annoyance to me was that the pump is quite noisy. If you're planning to use this at the campground, try to make sure you get your business done before other campers go to bed, especially if you're in close proximity. (Also, this product would have been pretty close to perfect if it had 9V car adapter capability.) Outside of that, this is a very efficient air pump - the price is more than worth the assurance that I won't have to spend an hour laid out on the tent floor getting chapped lips from blowing up the air mattress.

  This pump is awesome. I bought it for camping and used it on our Coleman Airbed. It inflated the airbed in less than 2 mintues and also inflated the air mattress for floating in the water. The deflate option is great too, no more lying on the airbed to squeeze all of the air out to put it away. The only drawback was the smaller nozzle didn't fit in some of our friends smaller air mattresses, but it still inflated them, just not as fast. Its small and perfect for anything that needs air (besides tires and balls). Highly recommended!

  I love this pump! It perfectly fits my Coleman kayak and completly airs it up in about 60 seconds (and that is airing up five seperate chambers). It sucks as well as it blows and will completly deflate my kayak just as fast. The neatest thing is that it's rechargable. I can throw my kayak and the inflator in the truck of my car, inflate and deflate on site. I've even used it to help start a campfire, it makes a great powered bellow!

  This tiny pump is so easy to operate, and inflates my queen size air bed in less than one minute. I like the fact that it is rechargeable, so it can be ready to use even with the power out, or on a camping trip.
  
  
• Great Little Pump

  So far I have used this little pump on 2 camping trips. It has worked just fine for blowing up the air mattresses. It took a minute to figure out how to take the pump off of the air mattress without deflating the mattress. The trick is to give the pump a quick push into the mattress, while turning the pump off, so that the protruding air mattress valve goes back into the air mattress, causing the mattress to self seal.
  
  
• HORRIBLE - STAY AWAY FROM COLEMAN PRODUCTS!

  I bought this pump along with an inflatable air mattress for use when guests visited. However, after only two uses the pump is completely dead. It won't recharge and it won't even turn-on.
  
  I understand that products break from time to time, but the real problem is Coleman's customer service department. When I called them to ask about warranty information for the pump, they responded with "We don't actually make that pump, we just put our name on it so we can't help you," and then they hung-up the phone!
  
  I called them back right away, and got them to give me the number of the company that does manufacture the pump and when I called it, it was a disconnected phone number! Coleman does not appear to care at all about the quality of their products or the concept of customer service. I will NEVER buy another Coleman product again. As I said, products break from time to time and that can be forgiven, but no company should treat their customers this way.
  
  I urge everybody who is considering the purchase of any Coleman products to boycott this horrible firm. By their own admission, they don't even make the products, they just pass them off to consumers. You deserve better than Coleman!!!

  Well, I use this for anything with air. Purchased originally for the airbed, I have found it useful for all the pool toys, plastic blowup chairs and other assorted air items my children have found the need to own. I guess Coleman does make other products that are as great as thier lanterns. They should do more advertising so people would hear about them!

  Excellent for camping -- you charge it at home, then take it with you without worrying about cords and chargers. Has plenty of juice for inflating/deflating your air mattresses numerous times. Quickly inflates an air mattress to a firm pressure, and the noise level is quite acceptable. I also love how it deflates your air mattress, so you're quickly ready to roll up your mattress into its smallest possible storage space.

  Living in Hawaii, you want the fastest little pump to pump up the Coleman Kayaks, it does the job fast, has little weight to it, and thats important when you are carrying all your stuff for a day at the beach. We love it and glad we can get one so fast.

  The pump's great. Not too noisy.
  My only complaint is that you cannot plug it in and use it on AC power. The battery has to be charged and then used (it lost 1 star for this reason).

  After buying a coleman inflateable kayak, I figured that an electric pump would be a wise decision. It proved not only to be a a lifesaver but also a worthwhile investment:
  -pumps anything up pr deflates in a matter of seconds
  -comes with all of the attachments you will need
  -charge lasts for 2 or 3 large flotation devices on one charge (inflating and deflating)
  -Saves you on physical labor
  -Relatively quite for all it does - but certainly loud enough to wake someone if activated right beside them.
  
  ***BOTTOM LINE: This is a product that saved me considerable effort and time when it was cricial. For the price you pay for it, this is a real no brainer buy***

  This is a very nice pump. however, be aware that this pump (and all others like it) can not create enough pressure to pump an inflatable kayak up to it's full needed pressure. It does get a lot of air in the kayak quickly, but you will have to finish the kayak off with a foot pump or a bicycle type inflator. This is a high volume low pressure pump.

  I bought this because an older (and now much more expensive model) was incapable of filling up my Coleman inflatable kayak. If you have a Coleman product you know you'll be inflating once or twice, this is a great way to go. Very light weight and very easy to use.
  
  Basically, it inflates very fast and can generate enough psi to make a bed comfortable or a kayak seaworthy.

  We have one of these that we use for camping and other traveling. We charged it up quite some time ago and it has really kept its charge. This thing works very quick and is great to have around. It can even be used to deflate by using the air intake hole on the side. This is especially useful for shrinking down things like air mattresses for folding.

  WE bought this recently for camping. works great, inflates the queen size mattress in about a minute. LOUD though. don't be surprised when you turn it on. The dogs took off as soon as this was turned on. I suppose it could double as a hair dryer if you needed! :)

  This is an awesome tool for inflateables. It charges up quickly, holds a charge for a long time, and then is portable so you dont have to fuss with cords. We have it in our motorhome and it is great because we can take it with us to the water and then blow up the inflateables when we get there. It deflates and inflates things in a matter of minutes/seconds. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for this type of tool.

  This little thing is pretty darn quick. I was expecting an air compresser type inflater, its more like a dust buster in reverse. Inflates my Coleman 4 man raft in no time flat.
  
  It comes with a home adaptor to charge but it actually takes 6 volts into the unit to charge the battery, so If you found the right plug with the right voltage and polarity, you could make a car charger for it which is what I plan to do.

  We use these pumps in our testing and returns lab for quickly inflating and deflating Chimney Balloons fireplace draft stoppers. They inflate the balloons to a constant pressure and the rechargable battery lasts forever. Better yet, they are durable and dont break when dropped on the floor. They are much better than the battery powered Coleman models.

  I would give this 5 stars if there was some sort of space on the charger where you can store the extra heads. I'm pleased this product is not excessively loud, I live in an apartment and don't feel self-conscious about blowing up my guest beds. Also, it works super fast, my twin coleman quickbed mattresses blow up in less than a minute. I recommend purchasing this product.

  This product works wonderfully but open the box as soon as it comes because it needs a 10-hour charge before you can use it. I opened it the morning I needed it and had no immediate gratification of blowing up my air mattresses.

  I unpacked it, charged it, and tried it on three different types of airbeds. In just a matter of seconds, the beds were all in usable shape.
  
  It is pumping great amount of air, and, despite that, it is not making a lot of noise. At least, not at a disturbing level...

  My wife and I love this pump. We took it camping this summer and it worked great on our double thick queen air mattress and (2) twins.
  We fully charged the batteries before we left and it lasted for 10 days; the initial pump up and several maintance inflations. We even lent it to a couple of other campers that arrived late. One draw back is no place to store the nozzles that come with it other than the box it comes in. That aside it's a great pump, sure beats the old double slow hand pump we used before. From an hour of sweat and toil to five mins. of holding a switch, you decide.Even good when extra unexpected company arrived at home. We've only had it one season so I can't vouch for its durability yet.

  This is the best round-boat pump I have found. It is very fast and can pump a 12-foot raft in less than 10 minutes.

  Generally satisfied. The deflating side works very well; much better than trying to squeeze the air out. Inflation is somewhat slower than I had hoped and the pointed attachment does not open some of the flapper valves, requiring squeezing them. Portability without extension cords is a big plus.

  I purchased this item some time ago, it works well and the charge stays with it a long time but it is a little weak; I use it for my inflatable kayak and always need to finish the job using the foot pump becasue this thing can't provide enough pressure. It does save a lot of leg work though!
  
  
• Great Air Pump

  I am very impressed with the volume of air that this pump can push. It filled up the Colman double mattress unbelievably fast. It is a bit noisy, but it runs so fast that it really does not make a difference.
  
  Two minor gripes. The first is that it would be nice if it would have had a carrying case to store the pump, charger cord and the nozzles together, or at least have on-board storage for the nozzles. The other is that the rubber plug in the back must be pulled out in order for it to run. It took me a little while to figure out why it would not run at first.
  
  Highly recommended, particularly if you have a large mattress to fill. It is a `must have' for me.
