  Wow. I've had one of these for years, and it is by far the best "toy" I own. Both my husband and I use it for stimulation. I think it's important to remember that this is an external vibrator. Sticking it in your "foxhole" is not recommended unless you are into things the diameter of a tennis ball (and I can't be judgmental about that, it's just not for me). Rubbing it on external genitals is the ticket, or buying an attachment that is smaller for internal stimulation.

  But while it's really great in the bedroom, it's also phenomenal on sore muscles. Nothing relaxes my aching feet more than a run with this massager. It's even good for cramps during menstruation, just put it on your lower belly and lay back. Lower back pain, upper back pain, cramped shoulder muscles, neck pain, hip pain, this thing does it all. Plus the head is removable, and most importantly, washable.

  All in all, a great massager. Clothed or unclothed.

  Ok, so the "Magic Wand" (goofy name) is marketed as a vibrating massager for "muscle pain and fatigue" - but I don't know how many people are using it on sore necks and shoulders. It won't help you pull a rabbit out of a hat, but it will probably make you verrrry happy between your legs!
  
  What I like personally about the Magic Wand is the low vibration - which was probably intended for deep tissue massage ... but you know women are very creative, so we found other uses for it! I find most battery operated vibrators have annoying, manic, loud, buzzing, high frequency vibrations - not relaxing or erotic! The Magic Wand plugs into the wall, and so the vibration is much stronger than it's battery-operated cousins.
  
  The only minor complaint about this product - it is a little bulky (if you were planning to use it with a partner). I imagine it may be a little intimidating for your partner if you whipped out the Magic Wand without any warning! It kind of looks like a weapon from Star Trek. "Honey, is that a - taser??? Is there an outlet in your sector, Captain?"
  
  Overall, it's a nice tool for the bedroom - if you don't mind the size of it. (But frankly with the powerful and pleasurable vibrations it brings, who cares what it looks like?)

  I've tried at least five different "massagers" and this is the best by far. First the amount of vibe is wonderful (low is all most should need, but high is there if required) Second it is more quiet than my previous vibs which makes me less worried about who will hear it so I can focus on me :-) Next, it holds up much better than any vib I got locally. I've had this one for over a year and a half and it still works great. The others made it maybe a year at the most. Well worth the price. Last MY HUSBAND LOVES IT. Use while having sex and he can enjoy the vibes, too. [...] Oh--if you like stuff to insert it can come with attachments, but I didn't like them at all. When you put them on the head of the vib it doesn't let you stimulate the clit anymore. Bummer. Hope this helps.

  How I ended up buying one of these:
  I had a very bad flu. I'd been sick for a week, when I developed a horrible sinus headache. I guess the cold/flu medicine had caused my sinuses to block. I was throwing up any pain medications, so I couldn't do anything for it. It was so painful, I started hitting my head on the wall - surprisingly, that felt good. It was about 2am though and I don't think my neighbors would have appreciated me doing that all night.
  
  So I tried to think of something else, I jumped in the shower and turned the shower massage on pulse and put it on my face. It felt wonderful. I stood there for about 30 minutes and again, I thought, 'I can't stand here all night' and I realized I really needed a vibrator.
  
  It was 3am, I looked horrible, my hair was wet but I quickly got dressed and drove over to the all night sex emporium. I walked in looking horrible, and said "where are the vibrators, I need a vibrator."
  
  The clerk pointed to the rack in the back of the store. I looked at the toys and didn't think they had the power that I needed, then I saw the wand. I bought it and hurried back home. I immediately plugged it in and put it on my painful sinuses. It was amazing. I hold it firmly over each side of my nose and it will cause any sinus blockage to release, then I hold it firmly on the bridge of my nose with a kleenex ready, and it will make me sneeze, which blows out the offending material. Then it's back to my cheeks again, I repeat until there is no longer a blockage. Even if I can't get my sinuses to open, it still feels wonderful when you have any kind of headache but it's the sinus relief I love. I can also relieve sinus pain without medication, that makes me sleepy or edgy or dries them out so bad my nose hurts.
  
  I couldn't remember why Amazon would know I had this, then I remembered that I bought one for a friend who had cancer. He had been mostly confined to bed and his shoulders and neck were cramping up so bad that he couldn't lift his head or drop his shoulders when he had to stand up. I knew this thing had the power to work out those kinks, so I jumped on Amazon and had them send him one (he was in a different city). I got an email a couple of days later and it just said "I got it. THANK YOU". The next time we spoke he thanked me over and over. It worked the kinks out of his neck and shoulders and for someone who had just felt pain for such a long time, it was wonderful to have some relief. He got better by the way so it's a really happy story.
  
  I have used it a little bit for other forms of stimulation, but really this is my magic sinus fixer. If you have a friend with allergies, headaches or frequent sinus infections this is a great gift. Even when I have a cold, it can force a sneeze and relieve any nasal blockage. I don't know if it would do the same thing for anyone else. I've never heard of anyone recommending the technique. This stays plugged in and under my bed - ready to go to work when I have a headache. I'm sure if anyone saw it, they'd assume it was there for another reason, but it's job is a pain reliever for me. It works great on any sore muscles also.

  Especially good for the neck and shoulders. FAR too intense for intimate contact. Fortunately, we also purchased the attachments which turned this overall massager into my wife's favorite "toy"

  It's true. This really is the Cadillac of vibrators! However having used 4 inch to max 10 inch vibrators this wand was a bit of a suprise when it arrived. It is about 15 inches long and runs on electricity. There are 2 speed settings - High and Low. Most people I was told never use the High as low is stimulating enough for them. The head is made of a spongy white material which is about 3.5 inches in diameter and vibrates at a very high speed. This is definitely not one of those vibrators you can insert into your vagina and I am not even sure if that would be safe as it runs on electricity. Most people use it held against their pubic area, sometimes even with a towel if the vibrations are too intense. I did not need the towel though and since the material is spongy it has not harmed my skin. The attachments give this vibrator another dimension as you can actually insert them into your vagina. So much better to be able to pinpoint your pleasure zones!
  
  If you consider the cost of batteries, even rechargeables this is a nice vibrator to own as it dosen't need any. Portability can be a problem though as it is too big and not very discreet. Using in the shower is also out if you don't want to risk electrocution. However the shape is not like a regular vibrator and it can actually be used as a massager too. So even if found/handled by someone else who is unaware you can get away by telling them it is your massager! It is not a very quiet vibrator (although almost no vibrator is quiet especially when there is lubricant involved.) and the cord is not very long so you need to have an outlet close to your bedside or an extension cord.

  I first got this "toy" for my boyfriend. He and I love to use it on with eachother. It is great for those long trips in the car when bieng comfortable and using it is a a must. my boyfriend says it reminds him of when he gets rectal examinations at the doctors (he regularly goes for this.. it is a treat for him) now we can enjoy the same pleasure at at home without spending that [amount] co-pay at the doctors.   Absolutely, positively the best for intimate stimulation...too intense? Use a sheet or soft piece of material, maybe even a towel as a buffer. If you find it bulky or too hard to handle, most likely you aren't using it correctly. As for its massage quality, I couldn't say as every time I break it out, my tense shoulders are the LAST thing on my mind. Highly recommended.

  I have read the reviews for the Hitachi Magic Wand, which initially sparked my interest. But I really didn't want to get one off a toy site due to credit card statements (didn't want it to say what it was). Once I saw it was on Amazon, I decided to get it because it is packaged and charged as any other item would be. I received mine yesterday and had to write a review right away.
  
  On to the performance: OH. MY. GOSH. Having owned 2 other battery operated vibrators, I didn't think this would be much different. I was wrong. At the cost of a little more noise (not even that much louder), the orgasms are much more intense- stronger and longer-- and quicker- within minutes I had multiple orgasms. There are 2 speeds and I find even the low to be a bit strong but if you put a towel or something in between, it's absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend purchasing a Hitachi Magic Wand- all the reviews are right!

  With or without the "attachments", this is a superior product, both for sore muscles and for use as a sex toy. This would appear to be the top of the class when it comes to personal vibrator technology. OK, it's not for use as a small / portable unit, but when you've got a place to plug in, it's AMAZING.
  
  NOTE - keep in mind that adapters for your car, RV, boat or other vehicle cigarette lighter socket can make a normal 110V outlet available to you ANYWHERE ... so you can bring this wonderful device with you just about anywhere.

• Panabrator better for guys

  When my latest Panabrator bought the bullet recently, I thought I would try a Hitachi Magic Wand, which has long been touted as one of the greatest sex toys ever invented. Big mistake! IMO this is a vibrator women will enjoy more than guys, at least compared to the Panabrators I have used. The Panabrator has a large flat head, which I find works better than the little ball head on the Hitachi. And the Panabrator is more powerful at high speed, by several hundred rpm. The downside of the Panabrator is its short life: about a year if you're lucky. In fact, if Panasonic would take a fraction of the research & development money they seem to spend on new heads and widgets for these massagers and spend it instead on developing a more robust, simple vibrator that won't die as soon as the warranty has expired, the world would be a much better place. At any rate, the Hitachi Magic Wand may be a girl's best friend, but I think guys will be happier with the Panasonic. Just be prepared not to get too attached to the thing, because you'll be buying a new one in a year...

  Thats what a one word discription of this product... no, NOT in a laptop battery kind of a way, I am talking about a womans big "O". Almost instantaneous, and too a point just about overwhelming. Unfortunately the dangers of such a powerfull product is that a woman may inadvertantly rub her button into oblivion from the power even on low setting. From the intense "good" vibration a womans privates can become numb so you really need to know when to say when and stop! Seriously this product is for real. And although at first one may be fearfull of the power even on low setting, it is that frequency (vibration) that makes this product worth the money. Tip, there are better quality accesories (attachemnts) made for this and similar "massagers", search around.

  First of all, let me talk about this thing as a massager. Well, it's great! It does wonders for my back, and even my feet, giving me a great massage. Do like my lover did, and get a nice massage oil to accompany the Magic Wand - I highly recommend Kama Sutra's Pleasure Garden. The message oil makes the Magic Wand slide smoothly and sensuously across the skin. A sensuous massage makes great foreplay, providing relaxation first and stimulation at the right time!
  
  But, this thing is more than a massager; it is a wonderful sex toy. The lower speed is pretty intense compared to your everyday vibrator, and works wonders. (Gentlemen, remember that a woman's flesh is pretty soft compared to yours!) But, that higher speed is there for that extra shot. The soft flexible head works wonders for a wide area vibration.
  
  Now, if you are getting this gadget, you simply MUST get the attachments - the Wonder Wand and G-Spotter. Both provide great stimulation, and make the Magic Wand the wonder-sex-toy that it is.   The Hitachi Magic Wand is the best vibrator for clitoral stimulation on the market. Other reviews go into its 'magic' so I will raise two concerns to keep in mind: first, if you take a while to reach orgasm you may find yourself being numbed by the strong vibration. This can be distracting and uncomfortable. Taking breaks, obviously, helps the numbness...but do you really want to take a break mid-masturbation? Second, and more insidious, the Wand is so stong and effective that your body may become less able to orgasm through other means. This has been confirmed by several friends. Bottom line, use it well but judiously.
