• Got my 3-yr old to be independent

  My son loved this one so much that this is the only thing he watched on TV for almost a month. He learned on his own to brush, wear clothes, cover his comforter and so many regular things which he wanted us to do for him before.

  This DVD made be buy a few more Elmo DVDs but nothing got his attention more than this and he still loves this more that the few others I own.
  
  

• Lots of fun with Elmo!

  This is the first Elmo's World title that I have bought on dvd and I am so glad I did. My daughter LOVES this dvd. She likes to watch the sleeping segment over and over. Also, the teeth segment...now she is begging to go to the dentist (buy this and you'll understand why). This dvd is yet another great Elmo's World title and we are happy owners. It helps kids understand the importance of going to bed, getting dressed, and brushing your teeth. If you have an Elmo lover in your house, this is a must-have!

  My daughter cannot get enough of Elmo...whether it is video, books, stuffed toys, you name it she loves it (so just based on her reaction it is a must have). I don't mind Elmo...many of his segments on getting dressed and reading etc. have been developmentally positive on my child. This DVD would be among those!! Shortly after she started watching this particular DVD she was much better about brushing her teeth AND became more independent about getting dressed. Based on this I would recommend this video.

  Sometimes educational videos for the youngest viewers need to be an equal mix of "goofiness" and "learning" to be effective, and that's just what the Elmo videos are all about. Having the perfect balance of Elmo, animated segments & songs, and real-life child testimonials, your toddler will become the best tooth brusher on the block in no time. Elmo also teaches how & why we go to bed, and shows who gets dressed. It's colorful, fast-paced, and lots of fun. Elmo's babyish voice is sure to appeal to the younger children and hold their attention... My 2-year-old wanted to brush his teeth non-stop after just a couple viewings!
  
  
• Good overall video

  We have soo many Sesame videos but this is not my son's favorite. It is a good video and teaches kids about brushing teeth and getting dressed, things I think will help me to teach my son when he's a little older, but for now, he just wants to watch good old singing/dancing videos.

  Great DVD! It's an extra long version of "Elmo's World." It teaches kids about what to do in the morning when getting up and ready. It's long, but entertaining enough to hold a toddler's attention.
  
  
• Educational fun for pre-schoolers

  Elmo, his goldfish Dorothy and their friend Mr Noodle have fun learning about getting up, getting dressed etc. It's aimed at an older age group but our ten month old loves elmo and his crayon fun. The video is educational and made to the same high standards that we expect from Children's Television Workshop/Sesame Street. Although the sets look a little low budget, this will probably not bother the target audience. Perennial favourites Burt and Ernie turn up as well, modernised so that they now use computers to email one another!

• ELMO WAKES UP YOUR LITTLE ONES

  We just bought this tape for our two year old and it's become one of his favorites. In this nearly hour long tape, Elmo, along with Mr. Noodle's brother teaches kids about sleeping. Elmo finds out what animals sleep and how they sleep including his fish dorothy.
  
  Then we move on to getting dressed in the morning. The original Mr. Noodle, played by Bill Irwin, demonstrates how to put on a shirt. The shirt keeps rolling up and hitting him in the face.
  
  Finally it's time for Elmo to Brush his teeth as Mr. Noodle shows how to squeeze the toothpasted onto the toothbrush. There's also a video showing a boys first trip to the dentist.
  
  A good tape, although this one didn't hold his interest quite as much as some of the other Elmo tapes and DVDs my son has but it's still fun.
  
  
• Keeps my toddler's attention

  This DVD is our favorite Elmo's World DVD. It keeps his attention for almost every minute... almost. My chief complaint is general for ALL Elmo's World episodes: Mr. Noodle. He is irritating and can't hold my son's attention. Other than that, it is fantastic. He loves it when Elmo opens the door and the clothes fall on him. He giggles when Elmo gets a sock stuck on his nose.

  Like the other reviewer said, this looks like a low budge video. Nevertheless, my two year old daughter likes it and that's more important to me. I personally find Elmo's voice annoying. I prefer Big Bird instead if I had to choose.

  My little sister loves this video. When she wakes up in the morning she always asks my mom to put this video on it's very entertaing for her, sometimes even for me!She loves Elmo's World.

  My 35 month old loves this DVD and it managed to keep him entertained during our travels from Maryland to Pennsylvania.
  Anything that can calm "The Terrible Two's" that long makes me like it too! LoL

  This is one of my 2-year-old son's favorite videos to watch first thing in the morning. It's not too loud, not too busy. Just right for helping him ease into the morning transition on lazy days.
  
  
• Annoying

  Although the topics of the video are important, the delivery of the video is lacking. I find the vidoe annoying and it doesn't keep my child's attention. Some muppets\Sesame Street video's are excellent (like Bert and Ernies Word Play), however this was unimaginative and looks like it created [low buget]. I was very disappointed with this purchase and I unfortunately would not recommend it.
  
  
• Great grandson LOVES Elmo!!!

  Last month I purchased this DVD, along with 'Elmo Visits the Dr' & 'Families, Mail & Bath Time'for his 2nd birthday. He loves these DVD's so much that he wakes up in the morning & the first thing he says is "Elmo". He's ready to watch as soon as he gets up. I was with the whole family yesterday at my daughter's house, & he came in & immediately wanted to watch Elmo. When his grandmother opened up the DVD cover to Elmo it was empty, so she put 'Shrek' on. He pitched a fit like only a 2 year old can pitch. Obviously these DVD's are a hit with him!!!
  
  
• Great Topics for Toddler

  I really like this elmo DVD, because it deals with topics my 2 year old was fighting me with. It teaches sleeping, getting dressed, and brushing your teeth. Also, my son LOVES elmo, so if Elmo says to get dressed, he gets dressed. It is in three Elmo's world episodes, so you can watch one or all three. Great to add to your collection!

  Very disappointed with this. This is an series of "elmo's world" skits from the tv show. Elmo in Grouchland is actually a movie and therefore is much better.

  My son is 15 months old and we watch this ironically at bedtime because the first episode is all about sleep and going to sleep. My son loves is so much and it is a nice way to relax and ease from playtime into bedtime.

  I bought this for my son as a Christmas present and it is great! He has learned so much from it. Of course it helps that he loves Elmo, but I highly recomend it.
  
  
• Not Much Elmo

  My two year old loves Elmo. We first bought the Elmo Potty Time Video and he absolutely loved it. It had plot, narrative, songs-- everything I associate with a quality Sesame Street Product.
  
  Maybe I'm just not a fan of the "Elmo's World" concept-- Elmo yells at an imaginary door, then a shade, then a computer yells at him.... I don't like the set (crayon scribbles instead of real objects and furniture as in Elmo's Potty Time).
  
  My son will watch when Elmo is on--- but during the parts with Mr. Noodle, etc. it might as well not be on.
  
  For Elmo fans--- and fans of the old fashion high-quality Sesame Street productions--- the Elmo's World series is probably not for you. It certainly wasn't for us.
