  I bought the Junior set (15 pieces) for my 2 year old and she loves them! I can't believe how much fun she has playing alone and how much fun we have playing with them together. I even want to play with them after she goes to bed! She plays with them much longer than other toys. They stack in so many different combinations, the possibilities seem endless. This is a great open-ended toy that's sure to become a classic. I want the 30-piece set now!! Get the cards, too. I bought mine from Magic Cabin and it included the cards. The cards give you examples, and you try to build them. You won't believe how many different ways you can put these together! It's great for problem-solving! These are much easier for toddlers to manipulate than Legos and much more engaging.

  When my 25 year old daughter sat down to play Wedgits with her younger siblings, she declared that she wanted a set for Christmas. She thinks it will be a great coffee table game for all her college friends. My friend got a set for her grandkids but when the family gets together her son and son-in- law monopolize them with their little competitions. These are wonderful for the imagination, and with Wedgits you will have a toy that adults will enjoy playing with and that makes the children very happy.

  I purchased this item for my 18 month old. I know that she is too young to get the full concept of the toy but I am certain she will grow into them. At the present moment, she is happy to stack them. They stack easily one on top of the other and they are easy for her to hold and grasp.
  
  I was introduced to these through my mother who did daycare for two boys that just loved these from about ages 5 through preteen. They would check these out from our local library and be entertained for hours. Here is a tip. Order two sets. It gives them more building options and allows for more creativity.

  Both my 4 & 2 year olds love the wedgits, my 4 year old however really gets into it. She loves to try and make what the pictures tell her. I was surprised at how good she was it. It really holds her interest.

  I bought the wedgits deluxe set for my preschool. I actually purchased 2 for different rooms and they are always being used. The children are very creative with them making a variety of different patterns and not even bothering with the book. These are durable and of great interest. I recommend them.

  Our children, ages 1 and 2 1/2 received the Delux Wedgits as a gift and really enjoy them! The whole family tries to make different structures with these unique shapes. The booklet provided with the Wedgits offers many great ideas for assembling the Wedgits. They are lightweight, easy to clean and travel well too! We look forward to adding onto our Wedgit collection!

  My daughter received a Wedgits Starter Set when she turned two. We enjoyed it so much and the educational value is so high, that we added the Deluxe Set later when our younger son turned 2. I highly recommend getting the Starter Set first. It has 15 Wedgits, including a jumbo rhombus that is found ONLY in the Starter set WEDGiTS Starter Set - 15 Piece Set. Then add on the 30 piece deluxe set and the building possiblities are endless. In the Deluxe Set there is a little design booklet that shows just some of the things that you can make with these. The Design Cards are separate and have 40 designs plus tips and techniques. To my knowledge no other toy shows octahedrons and rhombus shapes. They develop spatial relationships with angles and quadrangles, teach horizontal and vertical by stacking and nesting and perpendicular and parallel relationships can be demonstrated as well. Models of molecules, space ships WEDGiTS eXplorer Pak 125 - 125 Piece Set and just fun, unique creations can be made with Wedgits. There are also Classroom Packs (see [...])and an Activity Guide Parent/Teacher Activity Guideto show how they can be used for teaching math and science concepts (ages 3 - 10). As with their other toys, I rotate the wedgits in and out of use with my kids (now 4 and 5)and they always enjoy seeing them again and I plan on using them in our homeschooling.   Our family LOVES these!!! We purchased them on a recommendation from a friend for our 21 month old son. (Note: this toy is recommended for kids ages 3+...the white blocks could potentially be a choking hazard for little guys...we simply took the white blocks out of the set until he gets a bit older). Currently, our son just stacks the blocks on top of each other...but this activity along will amuse him for up to 20 minutes at a time! My husband and I on the other hand have had a lot of fun making the designs provided in the accompanying booklet. A great toy for all ages!

  We bought this particular set as present for a three year old. We have bigger Wedgits set for my 5 year old and she loves it. This set is a great starter for you super smart todler. Even if their little hands are not steady this set is very easy to balance. Peases of piramid could be put on vertically as well. Designs can go from very simple to a very elaborate and captivate the whole family.

  I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and he loves it---the problem is, his 8 and 12 year old sisters do too. The blocks are so different from all their others, and the figures on the box are easy to replicate, even for the 4 year old.

  I have a 6 year old child who loves to build and this product provides hours of play time without the hundreds of pieces you need with Legos. When I need to entertain him somewhere we take along this toy. My husband also spent lots of time with my son playing with this toy.

  My 3 year old daughter was given a wedgits set for Christmas and everyone played with it! Its a great toy that helps kids create spatial development and also helps them follow patterns.   Actually I saw WEDGiTS in my niece's house. I bought this toy because I want to play with it. My son loves it even though he can only do simple patterns. I am sure we will enjoy it for a very long time.

  This is a great toy for young tots, and I have even found my older nieces enjoy playing with it. The younger kids stack and knock over, and the older ones can build things with it. Very well built.

  We like this building set so much we ordered a second so there would be plenty of pieces. There is no end to the creative structures that my 3 year-old granddaughter and 5 year-old grandson can make make not to mention grandpa. This one is a winner.

  I bought my 3.5 yr old son a 20-piece set with cards (levels A, B, C, D). He loves it! He's only tried the level As so far, but could do all of them without any prompting from me exept for 2-3 cards. He caught on right away - the learning curve is very quick. It builds confidence (not to mention helps with counting, size, colors and spatial skills) I bet a younger child could build some of the easier pieces. I wish I bought this earlier - like a previous poster said, you can give this to a 1-2 yr old and just supervise or remove the smaller pieces. The kind I have is plastic - it would be nice to have a wooden option.

  Many of my friends who are both parents and teachers raved about this toy, so I decided to check it out. When I looked at it initially I was pretty skeptical... it just didn't look like that much fun. But, since it was so highly recommended, I decided to go ahead and order it for Christmas. It was a total hit with my boys (ages 3 and 20 months) AND with the adults! Everyone loved it. My boys do not sit still for much other than books, but they are hooked on these. And, almost every adult gathered for Christmas said they were planning to get a set for themselves! Even my sister (who is a teacher) said she would love to have these in her classroom. The Deluxe set was perfect for my kids, but I can see us expanding in the future. These will now be added to our list of favorite toys to give to others.

  I bought this set for my toddlers for Christmas, but the entire family has enjoyed it ever since. It is fun & educational. It's great for motor skills & imagination. Most all of our family who came over on Christmas day wanted a set. I would highly recommend it for any age.

  My 4-year-old just LOVES these! He's a picky kid when it comes to toys. He hates toys that do things on their own. He'd rather be the one making the toy into something that he wants to make it into.
  
  I was surprised at the material that the Wedgits are made of. I thought they were going to be soft and pliable. I was actually happy to find how sturdy these hard plastic pieces are. No breaking, tearing, or biting parts off. They'll never break or chip, so they'll last for years and years.
  
  These make a great addition to any creative kids library of toys. They'll spend hours and hours building and creating. Perfect!

  This game was a gift for an adopted 7 year old boy. He received it from us for Christmas. Out of all the gifts he received, my nephew said that this is the one he chose to play with the most. We first learned of this toy when we won it at an eductional toy store. All of our 5 grandchildren played with it, (including their parents), and the 14 year-old girls STILL get it out of the game closet when they come over.
  We highly recommend it! It offers countless opportunities for kids to use and build their creative skills!

  Wedgits are by far the best Christmas gift we received this year. So cool, in fact, that I bought another few sets to augment our collection! My three year old and ONE year old love these things. They are easy to stack - their unique construction makes it so you can stack large on small or small on large, or even stack on a diagonal. The expansion pack allows you to "bridge" pieces together to create QUITE a variety of fun things.
  
  My only complaint with the Deluxe set is that it has very small pieces (relative to the others) which although they are useful to the older builder are an enticement to my 1-year-old's mouth! I'm sure the box says 3+, but my 1-year old LOVES Wedgits because he can stack them himself and they STAY put, instead of like regular blocks which will topple if they get too high. So I just put the tiny pieces aside until we're past the "mouth" stage.
  
  I gave these toys a 4 for durability only because in the original set one of the smaller wedgits came apart (albeit after some abuse). It was easily super-glued back together, though!

  These wedgits are a fun challenge for adults as well as kids. You can do easy or complicated creations. WEDGiTS Deluxe Set - 30 Piece SetGrandpa and dad can't leave them alone. They provide an opportunity that's fun for adults to play with the kids.

  This is a GREAT toy!! Every house should have a set. My kids really enjoy building with them, and I love to try different designs too! I like that you can challenge yourself with the multi-level cards (purchased separately) or just free play with them. Great for developing spatial sense. I think it will become a gift item for me to give those "hard to buy for kids".

  Bought this for my daughter when she was 4. She is now 6 and still plays with them occasionaly. Lots of ways to build with them. She brings them out whenever kids visit because most kids enjoy them. Even older kids and baby sitters get involved.
