  • My son loves 'em!

    By A23KI9A8J40KC3 on 2006-11-28
I got these for my son at about 8 months. He's now almost 14 months and still loves to play with these blocks. He's a "banger" so he loves to bang on the silly heads and watch the front spin. He's also learning how to stack them up. They're also small enough to put in his bag when we go out. I didn't even notice that they had stickers on them. But, his daycare center has these too, and ten one-year-olds play with them every day and the stickers have never come off. A great toy for the money.

  • I thought it was interesting, but baby doesn't seem to think so

    By A3NOBH42C7UI5M on 2007-08-04
I was surprised to see all the different kinds of activities on these little blocks. They are smaller than I expected, but each side has something interesting to touch, move, push. They don't stack very well, but when they are stacked, they interact. If you stack them and push the head on the top block, all three blocks have spinning sides that respond. But my baby just doesn't seem interested in them when he's alone with them. He likes when we play together with them, but it never goes to it on his own.

  • 10 month old grandson loves them

    By A1OA65HXZIINHR on 2007-01-05
My 10 month old grandson was actually difficult to buy toys for this past Christmas. He's too old for teethers and fabric blocks that don't do anything, but too young for hammering or stacking blocks. This set was perfect for him. He can hold them on his own and flip the little doors or push the top buttons. He will play with these for 20-30 mins at a time - which is a lot for a 10 month old! I've even seen him try to stack them up himself. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it for those "inbetween" (not infant, not toddler) babies!

  • Wonderful toy

    By ACYB64LZUQO0J on 2003-11-04
For those little hands, these are terrific for handling. The great assortment of colors, patterns, "moving parts" on the sides really stimulate a child's interest. My son is teething and wants everything in the mouth of course. The sides of this offer a nice variety of textures too. My son's favorite thing with these is to have them stacked on top of one another to either watch all the motions in sync when the top button is pressed OR just to knock down the stack of blocks. They stack to the perfect height for a child who sits up. Bravo to the manufacturer!!

  • And They All Come Tumbling Down!

    By A13DS9DA3ASN4N on 2006-07-27
My little guy loves to have these blocks stacked only to knock them down. He loves the "action" of these blocks. The blocks are easy to handle for his little hands. He holds them and chews on them and loves to scatter them around the room. It is nice gift for a baby and they are not loud or annoying.

  • Keeps us entertained..
    By A1LWXZ2O543I1K on 2003-11-16
My sister bought this for my son when he was 4 months old (now he's 7 months)He loves it, particularly the blue block. We take them with us on road trips, airplanes or for a troll in the carriage. He can hold one of them at a time or I stack them adn he plays with all three. It is not one of those annoyingly loud battery operated toys. It is simple and basic yet fun for babies. An "old school" type of toy. Definetly worth buying!

  • a terrific gift!
    By A3OXSI1E3IHLOA on 2006-11-07
I gave this very inexpensive gift to two adorable new babies. The parents were delighted, and the babies seem to like them too!

  • Fun for Baby
    By A1U3CI9Q30VI5G on 2007-05-20
I found these brand new at a garage sale for 50 cents! My 7 month old son loves them, although I have to hold them steady when they are stacked on top of each other for him to play with. I would definitely buy them again and would pay far more than my garage sale price!

  • Not the Best Block Set
    By A3PB28O50JABFG on 2007-06-16
My daughter was possbily least enthused about this set of blocks out of anything that I have purchased for her. They are interesting in theory and idea, but in practice they're a bit disappointing. They're not super easy to stack and the different little features are not very easy for little hands manipulate. I thought perhaps that they were too old for her but at nearly a year and able to do puzzles, she's still not interested in them! Not my top recommendation in blocks!

  • Great toy
    By A1V8G1YMB0G81L on 2003-01-22
My daughter (7 mos.) absolutely loves these blocks. She received them as a Christmas gift and she still plays with them everyday. Out of all the gifts she received they by far were her favorite gift. She loves to push down the silly faces. They are so easy to clean (especially when she plays with them while eating lunch). I feel the blocks are helping with her fine motor skills/coordination. She screams when it is time to put them away. I went out and bought a set for Grandma's house. [this price]is a GREAT VALUE for this product.

  • great learning toy for babies
    By A1LCAVW0LNMCRY on 2003-08-29
I think these blocks are wonderful for learning coordination, my 10 month old baby loves the hinge door on it, and the spinners - BUT, scraped the sticker off of the spinner with his 4 new teeth within 5 minutes of getting the toy, of course he loves paper and somehow knew right away that it was only paper and tried to get it off. My suggestion, go ahead and remove it yourself, if your worried about your baby swallowing it.

  • Good Fun
    By A1GTFKOAZT8GQL on 2003-10-31
My daughter loves these blocks. They were the best gift her daddy could have given her. She loves to look at the designs, chew on them, toss them, etc. She has them at school also and she is usually found in the middle of the room playing with them.

  • great blocks
    By A2GFELTGW4SFNI on 2007-06-20
We bought this when our son was about 6 months old. He loves spinning the wheels. It keeps him busy. Has bright colors, smiley faces and is sturdy. When he is older he can learn to stack them. It was a great purchase.

  • Great toy for 6-10 months age range

This is the baby's favorite toy! Great product especially for the price. Wish there were more toys like it. Excellent for developing fine motor skills.

  • entertaining

My 7 month old can sit quitely while watching me press the head of the blocks. The only disadvantage is that it's a hard toy.

  • my 16-month old approves
    By A3NIMDTQPSXL36 on 2007-06-20
My son enjoys playing with these blocks a great deal. I don't know how much he's learning, but he loves to stack them, throw them on the floor, and push the buttons to make the wheels turn.

My only complaint is the paper stickers on the sides of the blocks. They don't stand up well to washing and these things need it occassionally. I'd like them even better if they were dishwasher-safe.

  • great stacking toy
    By A2UBG2H61T7SJO on 2008-01-07
I bought these for my 16-month old son for Christmas (from Amazon for $10 with free shipping) and I only wish I had found them sooner. It's really easy to stack the blocks because they have the button on top and a concave bottom. I must have mis-read the description because I expected them to light up, but they don't. When you push the button on top, one side of the block moves. When you stack the blocks, it pushes all of the buttons so all of the moving parts move. Another side has a flap that you either move side-to-side, up and down, or twist depending on the block. The other 2 sides of the blocks have A, B, C and 1, 2, 3.
I read one review that said these were smaller than expected so I expected them to be pretty small, but because of that review, they are bigger than I expected and the perfect size for my son to pick up with one hand. I would guess that they are about 3 inches on each side.
    I definitely recommend these blocks.

  • Stickers come off too easy
    By on 2003-01-01
I bought these blocks for my 11 month old son for Christmas. I gave them to him to play with the next morning. After about 1 minute (literally), he was able to pull off one of the stickers on the blocks whole and eat it. I was able to retreive some of it from his mouth. He swallowed the rest. I called Fisher Price and put in a complaint. I am not thrilled with the idea that the stickers came off that quickly and have returned this item.

  • Great Blocks
    By AZK9CCTYQNRNL on 2003-05-14
My son (5 months) received these as an Easter present and they've been a favourite ever since. They are great for tummy play and he manages to bang the top of the blocks where the head is to make the spinning things go around. He loves it. He loves it when we do it for him too. The blocks can be stacked and when you hit the top on, all the spinning things move around. There are lots of great colourful things to look at, touch and feel and manipulate. They are great for little fingers that are learning to do things. Easy to keep clean when dribbled on and small enough to take with you when you go out. Will keep baby entertained for ages!

    Recommended.

  • It's Ok
    By A2YZ5A04LP9W98 on 2006-12-08
My son received these for Christmas last year, and will occasionally play with them for about 30 seconds. He just doesn't seem to care for them at all, and would much rather play with legos or other, more basic blocks. He's not all that impressed with the spinners on the front or the pictures. Overall, I'd rather he had some other toy instead.

  • Good
    By A1LNWQUWXMMZNG on 2007-01-12
I got these for my 9m old for Christmas. Of course I couldn't resist from giving them to him right away. They live in the toy drawer that he is always digging through. They make an apprearance at least once or twice a day, and get a couple minutes of playing time each time.

  • NICE BLOCKS

  • Fun, engaging toy!
    By A1B4LH6XKWSPV5 on 2008-02-01
I purchased these blocks for my youngest (who's now 5 months old). His two older siblings enjoy showing him what the blocks can do, and he has them somewhat figured out. It's something all three of them can sit there and play with together, which is nice considering a 3 and 8 year age gap!

The blocks show "opposites" slide pictures (such as night and day, cat and dog), each has a number on one side and a letter on another, as well as a push button on top that makes its gear (such as the green tube roller) move. If you stack all three and push the top button, all three gears move! A good interactive toy that touches on different aspects of mobility and development, highly recommended!

  • excellent seller and product

  • First time grandparent.....
    By A3JZWUXHG46ECV on 2007-10-23
Got for grandson's 1st birthday, but had to give it to him right away...he loves them. When you stack them up and push down on the little head all the moving parts in all the blocks move...great gift and age appropriate....fascinates them!

  • Both my sons loved this!
    By A23UJ5E2HTLODG on 2007-11-24
I think if you have kids, you should have this. We bought this for my oldest, who is now 4. And he loved it. Then gave to my youngest, and he also loved it. The age range that they played with it was about 10-18 months. At that age, a baby's attention span isn't much. But these toys would go the duration. They were great to take with us to restaurants or when we were making dinner, etc. They held up very well through the use of two active boys. A must have!

  • Don't bother
    By A1SU8BO6VLVSQU on 2007-11-25
I bought these for my daughter when she was 7 months old. The only thing she ever did with them then was lay on her back to hold them (one at a time) and look at them. Then she would drop it on her head--these are hard, and it would hurt! At 2 1/2 years old the activities on these blocks are still too hard for her to manipulate. Despite the fact that she has a younger sister, this is one toy that is on its way to the thrift store. There are too many good toys out there for little ones to bother with these.

  • Nice Toy, but Didn't Hold Interest Long
    By A2L2RRFO49B95B on 2008-07-30
I ordered this toy for my 10-month-old son for Christmas. He enjoyed it for a very short time and then lost interest in it. Perhaps it would be better for a child a bit younger than 10 months. Overall, a nice toy, just wasn't my son's favorite.
