OK if you get it on sale By A33FVSSR2ZU3AE on 2007-03-09
Paid fifteen dollars for this level and at that price point it is OK. The vials are hot-melt glued in place and are accurate only in the one plane it was calibrated for. The laser on/off switch is lame... you twist the battery cap 90 degrees to make/break contact with the batteries... the indent is small so it's possible the laser will turn on accidentally. The level is relatively heavy (11 oz. w/ batteries)... dropping it could chip tile or ding wood.
not worth it... By A2KHKUSMW9X344 on 2007-02-07
I bought this originally to do cabinet installation and it didnt work out as planned. It has too small of a footprint (it's too short) and gets out of level by the smallest of irregularities on any given surface. Well specifically kitchen cabinets. I ended up going home to grab my 6 foot level.
Another nitpick with it is the switch. You rotate the switch to turn it on and rotate it to turn it back off. It will easily turn itself back in if jostled inside a tool bag.
However our dog just loves chasing the laser beam around the house so I'll probably keep this toy, hence the two stars.
Good Level By A23KJK5LPHNM44 on 2007-02-14
Very nice level and the laser is a nice touch. I wouldn't spend a ton of money on it as in the end it is a torpedo level but it is a nice little tool.
Get Magnetized! By AEE42UT3ERITN on 2007-02-03
The Robotoolz RT-3210-1 Single Beam Laser Point was an unexpected gift from my wife. I didn't think it would come in handy but, to my surprise, I have found it useful in doing some plumbing work. I ordered it on a Friday Sale with free shipping so it was a bargain. I can see where I will use it again. Now that I have it, I'd hate to lose it so I used my Dremel 290-01 1.15 Amp 7,200 Stroke Per Minute Engraver includes Letter and Number Template to brand it as mine. ~ The Boss
Nice for the price By A2V3X6GERY7RPQ on 2007-02-28
Caught this on the Friday Sale for $19.00!! Seems well-made. Laser is very bright IMHO. I mounted it to a small tripod I have and used it to check the level of various areas of the house. Ideal for a gadget freak/geek like me.LOL
Only gave it 4 because i don't know about durability and longevity.
- If there ever was a laser level suitable for.....

Speaker alignment this is it. It has a grove that allows one to get the laser beam as close to the actual corner of the speaker as much as possible. Get your speakers aligned and expect some surprises.
I have a ridiculous number laser levels. But this is the one I use to get my speakers " straight ".
- pretty good for the price

This is a decent level that is accurate from a good distance. The only issue I did have with it is the on off switch. It is easy to accidentally turn it on while it is in your tool bags, which of course runs the battery down. Overall it is a pretty good tool for the price though.

...This laser level cost WELL over $100 bucks! I'm SURE some of you remember that! With Amazon putting this bad boy on sale for $15, you would be crazy NOT to buy it! I've used it for over 3 years now and have NOT experienced 1 single problem! It has been dropped, kicked, thrown (at me) and is STILL as accurate as the first time I flicked the switch! 4 BIG stars! It would have been 5 had it been made on this soil....
- It is great!

a very useful and durable tool and it is only 15 bucks.
- Just a level.....
     By A1L79CIJNJUB3N on 2007-05-22
I bought this laser level for a simple, short grading project. It's not up to the task though. The advertisement states accuracy as being +/- 1/4" at 50 feet. During a sunny day, you can't see the laser dot for more than than 15 feet. If you're needing something for use in the daylight hours and outside, find something brighter because this will not do it. The switch could have been much more positive as far as the on/off and the other reviewers are dead-on about accidental turn-on in the tool bag. The level feels solid, being milled from solid aluminum, but this thing wouldn't last with rough use. Block or brick work?..Only if you're careful and you're doing masonry work inside the house with lower light. Good concept, but just not taken far enough and a brighter laser would have made this level soooo much better.
