  This is a vastly superior product to many lens cleaning tissues out there. When these were no longer available at our neighborhood Costco, we picked up a package of the brand they replaced it with. Big mistake. They smear horribly. For a portable lens-cleaner, Bausch & Lomb is the way to go.

  I agree with Leegal Deegal. I bought a 100 count Bausch lens wipes at Costco about 6 months ago. They dont carry that line anymore, so I bought a replacement brand that they do carry. Horrible mistake, I now use those wipes on my cell phone (who cares if that screen is smeared, at least It's sanitary). So, I went directly to Amazon and ordered the 100 pack Bausch & Lomb. You get what you pay for!!!

  I LOVED these wipes. As someone who has to wear her glasses or be blind, the cleanliness of my lenses is a huge issue for me. I was thrilled for over a year with my Sight Savers wipes...then they suddenly changed the formulation or something, because now they leave horribly smears all over my lenses! It's not just a bad pack; I bought several before I believed the change was permanent.
  If you get hold of an older box, they'll be great, but if you buy new, they're a waste. (Now they're just like the Zeiss ones, which I also tried and disliked. Had the same problem with Walgreens store brand.)

  When I bought new glasses a few months ago, I decided that I would ALWAYS wash them with moistened lens wipes and never use anything that might damage the lenses (dry kleenex, toilet paper, paper towel, etc.). And while these moist wipes are well packaged and seem to work perfectly well in terms of being evenly wetted with the proper solution, less than 5 months after I got my new glasses, they were covered in scratches that clearly came from cleaning ... What gives? I followed the directions very carefully, removing any dust and grit carefully before cleaning the lenses and only used the wipes as directed ... and still I have scratches. The product SEEMS like a good one and I still use them ... I'm just not sure why I still have scratches on my lenses.

  I work at the computer all day and I read and do computer stuff in the evenings. I've got a pair of reading glasses and a pair of those really expensive progressive glasses that are the modern equivalent of bifocals but there's no hard division between magnification.
  
  I love these wipes! I can use them to clean my glasses safely and then with the moisture that is left I clean the glass on my computer monitor. I can also clean the glass on my TV and the plastic digital display on my table radio.
  
  So, invest a little and save a lot of precious glass stuff not to mention your nerves. Clean the stuff you see and the stuff that you see it with. The individually wrapped wipe is the clear choice for me.

  Bausch & Lomb Sight Savers are the only eyeglass cleaner on the market that remains moist and is guaranteed to clean your glasses. The others (which I have tried) seem always to have trouble with their outer-wrapper integrity and half of them must be thrown away.

  I have glasses with an anti-scratch/anti-reflective coating. At first glace these wipes do an OK job -- but I did a lense/lense comparison with Zeiss Ultra Clarity wipes, and the difference was dramatic. The B&L leaves a cloudy film -- the Zeiss treated lense was sparkling clear.

  Over the years we have tried many different eyeglass cleaner tissues. Most smear and leave glasses cloudy. These tisues clean eyeglasses thoroughly, most often with just one cloth. We won't buy anything else.

  These lens cleaners are wonderful. Being pre-packaged in individual foil wraps means that they are always fresh and most when you open them. They'll leave your glasses clean and sparkling.
  
  
• Best cheap non-scratch wipes

  Its extremely hard to find wipes that won't scratch or otherwise damage expensive glasses or camera lenses or even monitors. The tissues are made of a microfiber paper, and soaked with basically diluted isopropyl alcohol with additional non-abrasive additives.
  
  They're also large enough to get the job done. One packet is enough to thoroughly clean one pair of glasses (both lenses, front and back), and is more than enough for a large professional camera lens.
  
  One is also enough to clean smudges off a monitor if you don't feel like cleaning the whole thing, although I do not recommend trying to do a regular monitor cleaning with these: get a microfiber cloth and mix up a batch of half and half 90% isopropyl and distilled water if you want to do that.

  I have used Sight Savers Premoistened Lens Cleaning Tissues for a couple of years. They are very useful as they don't take up a lot of room since they are packets, And even more important, they do a good job of cleaning my glasses. As the saying says: "Try em, you'll like them."

  Please disregard the other review, maybe the reseller wasn't so good. That has nothing to do with the quality of this product and how profound the effect it has on seeing clearly through your glasses. A must have for any person who wears glasses.

  I have to wear glasses and they get dirty quickly as I am in the remodeling business. I have tried different means of constantly cleaning my glasses and "Bausch & Lomb" Pre-Moistened Tissues are teh perfect answer. They stay moist and do a great job. I also use them on my Nikon lens. Would not leave home without them.

  I have glasses with a glare reducing coating, and I've struggled to find a safe way to clean them and not leave streaks. These tissues do the job admirably; my glasses have never been so clean. I wish I'd known about them years ago!

  My former employer provided these free for their employees. Since retiring, I missed having these available, and recently found these Sight Savers on Amazon, and quickly scrambled to purchase two boxes. I have used them on camera lenses, eyeglasses and phone screens.
  
  There are other cheaper disposable lens cleaners, but they don't work as well (at least for me) as these Sight Savers do. Bausch & Lomb have been a long time name in eyewear and eyewear care for many years.

  Bausch & Lomb's pre-moistened sight savers are by far the best eye glass cleaners on the market and safe for anti-glare or anti- reflective lens, which means they safe for every other type of lens as well. If you want crystal clear, no smear or smudge glasses, these are the way to go.

  My husband and I both use these and love them. We bought them first in a big membership store, but when the store started selling an inferior brand we had to hunt around. I'm really glad they are on Amazon! I just bought six boxes (of 100 each) to make sure we have a good supply! They are wet enough to do two pairs of glasses, but dry instantly and streak-free!
