• Probably the best funnel you can get

  You think plastic... weak, melting... No
  It is sturdy yet slightly flexible not to be easily breakable.
  It handles warm to hot liquid real well as it is made with a some kind of high temperature plastic.
  The best are these rubber lines that helps it sticking to the recipient into which you are pouring. No third hand needed nor worries about hot or messy spills.
  A little mesh, provided with the set, can be inserted to strain the liquid which is really handy.
  Storage of the Funnel set is nice as the funnels and the grid nest into each other.
  What might have been nice? Maybe a slightly bigger handle for when we work with kids.
  Still, a must have for every cook.
  
  

• It's a Nice Funnel

  Not really that much to rave about, it's a funnel. As funnels go, it's among the best I've seen. I am pleased I purchased this product, it stands up the the quality of the rest of the OXO GOOD GRIPS line.
  
  The little strainer insert is pretty worthless, it is hard to "lock" in place and usually pops out. Both funnels are conviniently sized and I use them both without problem. The soft rubber "gripper" ribs on the side are nice, but I dont know if I'd miss them if they werent there.
  
  If you get these with free shipping, I recomend them without hesitation. If you have to pay shipping on top of the purchase price I would recomend buying some of the cheap plastic ($1.99) automotive funnels instead, you probably wont notice any functional difference. The OXO are just nicer looking and a little easier to store.

  I keep batches of milk-based kefir and kefir d'agua going on my countertop in various mason jars, wine bottles, and jugs. Although the screw-on plastic seed-sprouting-type jar lids work well for straining some of the kefir, I really needed a better funnel/straining setup that would work for everything.
  
  This funnel set is perfect! I use the large funnel, with its strainer insert, the most. It catches not only the milk kefir grains but also the smaller water kefir grains, allowing the kefired liquid to pour through. The strainer piece also snaps into the larger funnel by tucking its edges under three little "bumps" on the inside of the funnel, which holds it very securely in place.
  
  The rubber "lines" on the outside of the funnels work incredibly well not only to keep each funnel steady without needing a third hand, but also to properly vent air from the jar or bottle so I don't get the splashing/glugging of my other funnels.
  
  The smaller funnel nests inside the larger one, with its end piece fitted onto the strainer insert (nice design!) and I keep it all hung neatly on a hook.
  
  I am very pleased with this set.

  Oxo makes great products and these funnels are no exception. They come two to a set with a small strainer that helps filter solids. The funnels have a rubberized "thumb spot" that allows you to hold the funnel with ease. This is handy when dealing with oils. The best feature is the series of rubberized stripes that run down the outside of the funnel to hold it securely in the vessel and prevent it from tipping. As a person who has knocked over funnels before, I really appreciate this feature. If you need a funnel, this is the set you should buy. Clean up is easy, just throw them in the diswasher.

  This is a great set.
  
  I've used it to transfer cold liquids as well as BOILING liquids without a problem. Cleans well in the dishwasher.
  
  I like that the opening at the bottom is small enough to fit into the smallest of spouts, and yet wide enough to not get clogged by thicker liquids.
  
  I have 2 sets - one for food (pouring costco size ketchup into a table-friendly bottle) and one for industrial (like fabric detergent refills). I've marked the industrial ones with a sharpie so I don't mix them up :)
  
  Really, it hasn't failed me yet for anything I've needed if for. Oxo rarely fails me though -- when in doubt, go with a trusted brand.

  I bought this funnel set as "filler" to get free shipping on an order, so my expectations weren't all that high. However, they're really great funnels! Very durable and they seat well into even weirdly shaped openings and stay upright. Highly recommended!

  This set of funnels is ideal for the cooking enthusiast who doesn't want to drop $20 on a set of funnels, but still needs something dependable and convenient. These funnels are made of a very sturdy plastic, which makes them easy to clean, rust free, and also really easy to work with. The non-slip grips on the outside are helpful and also give them a streamlined look.
  I have yet to use the little strainer that is included, but it fits nicely onto the end of the smaller funnel, so it hasn't gotten lost like a lot of the other gadgets in my kitchen tend to do.
  The plastic does scratch a bit with use, but I have noticed no cracks, chips, or warping.
  These funnels are excellent tools and well worth the few dollars investment.

  Was very impressed with the funnels-when put in container to pour liquid you don't need to worry about it tipping and you can use both hands for whatever you are pouring instead of having to worry about holding the funnel in place.

  Not much to say about this. They work.
  
  One positive point: the non-slip grips down the sides really do a good job keeping it in place while pouring... eliminating most of the problems encountered by the negative point.
  
  The negative point: The "handle" on the funnels is more like a tab. It is a little hard to hold on to when you're trying to balance a pot of stock in the other hand.

  I have yet to use the strainer, but this set is amazing. At first, I questioned my judgement about buying funnels for 8 bucks, but when I put these babies to use, they were sturdy and the "grip" was the incredible. I had dollar store funnels that slipped all over the place making a huge mess on my white countertop. With these, there's no mess because they stay put inside whatever you stick them in with those rubber grip strips. They're even easier to clean because they don't stain (like those dollar store pieces of junk). Well worth it!

  Well as with all of my OXO products its attractive, easy to use, grippy, and durable. What I didn't realize was that it had a little built in strainer that allows you to use the two funnels together to strain your liquids; how fabulous!
  
  
• can't handle super hot temps but it can't rust

  My hand me down metal funnel has rust along the seam where the blacksmith smelted the metal sheet together to form the cone. I find that the funnels adjust to a tight fit - making a *boot* noise but they stick right in there. Metal wouldn't be so flexible. A funnel is just something that is good to have in one's home. I don't use scissors or staplers all the time but I have to have those too. I've used this to transfer body lotion and maple syrup and in cooking.

  These are nice funnels. I, like other reviewers, am not a big fan of the strainer, because it does seem to pop out, but I just ignore it and use the funnels for everything. They stay in place really well because of the rubber lines running up and down the funnel, so kitchen tasks are much easier than with a regular funnel. OXO tends to have easy-to-use designs of much better quality than average, and these funnels are no exception.
  
  They are easy to store because the small one fits inside the larger one, and they hang very nicely in my pantry.

  The funnels seem fine, but I was surprised to find there were only two funnels included. The packaging says three piece set (two funnels and a strainer attachment), which is fair enough, but the advertising on Amazon that calls it a "set of three" is misleading.

  What can you say about a funnel? I like the fact that the strainer stores by snapping into the bottom of the funnel (no digging in a drawer to find the smaller part). It could be a little more generous in depth but the semi/translucent funnel makes it easy to see the progress.

  I bought these to replace some older hard plastic funnels. This set is compact easy to clean and unlike most of the other funnels we've had are not clumsy and will hang from a utensil rack.

  This funnel, made of sturdy acrylacaltyic plastic, which has just recently passed the NEA screening board, makes a great companion for the alcoholic who likes to spice up parties by "beer guzzling". It fits into the mouth easily and can be used on numerous occasions, works well with car oil also.

  I am really disappointed in the lack of sturdy handles on both funnels. There is not much to hold on to when straining hot gravy, etc. And the strainer insert is very flimsy! I bought this set to qualify for free shipping. If I had seen the funnels in the store I would not have purchased them.
  
  
• Quick and Clean

  I bought this specifically for my kids' bathroom where there is an under-the-counter mounted soap dispenser which only holds 8 oz, so it would frequently run out making for a huge mess when refilling. I have tried other funnels for this task but they have been too small for the task, needing multiple fill ups and many, many minutes for the soap to drip through. The larger of these two funnels has a large bottom opening which allows the thick liquid soap to run fairly quickly into the dispenser. Additionally, I marked 8 ounces on the clear funnel with a sharpie so that the funnel can be filled to the line; the filling person can then leave the room and the pump part of the dispenser can be put back at the next trip to the bathroom. Even the youngest and/or laziest kid can do this task. Works great, less filling! Highly recommended.

  It's a fine funnel set, but they aren't very large funnels. I was hoping the larger one of the two would've been larger. I guess you can't be as messy as I would like.

  This two funnels in this set along with the small strainer are of high quality. The rubber grips on the bottom of the funnels act to hold them steady in the container, and the rubber-lined finger/thumb grip helps you to hold onto the funnel. The set is nice and sturdy, and also intelligently engineered. The set also fits together very well for storage. I'm glad I bought these.

  A well-designed product! The black lines shown to run down the sides of the funnels are non-slip rubber strips. These provide stability between the funnel and whatever it's inserted into, as well as a gap to let the air out which makes for smoother pouring. Dishwasher-safe, at least on the top rack.

  Who would ever think to get excited over a funnel? Well I didn't think I would but I did. When it arrived I needed to use it straight away to get my drink into a plastic water bottle to take with me. I loved how it felt in my hand. It was light, with a nice grip...it was just right! The design of it is just great, every little detail matters. The non-slip grip stips on the sides of the funnel along with the tab for easy holding make this a joy to use. I love the fact that the two funnels come with a strainer that goes into the end from the outside. I don't know when I'll ever use that but if I need to, it's there! I was not disappointed with this purchase. I had been using 2 Liter coke bottle cut in half as a funnel for a long time. It was time for an upgrade.
  
  
• Very sturdy funnel

  I have trouble using my hands and am legally blind. This set of funnels is very helpful to me. I steam distill my water, so I am pouring fairly heavy water from a heavy glass container into a plastic bottle for storage. The funnel stays in place, and I can pour the water all at once, instead of constantly having to readjust the funnel. I haven't used the strainer or smaller funnel yet, but it is nice to have them around.
