• Finally!! A Cover for KitchenAid 6 Qt. Stand Mixers!!

  I have had this cover (in white) for several months now and use it to cover my KitchenAid 6 Qt. Epicurean stand mixer (note that this will also fit the 6 Qt. Professional model). With the pouring shield and bowl in place, the cover just fits around the entire base of the mixer with perhaps 1/8" of room from the bottom. There is a large pocket (12" wide x 8.5" tall) along one side which allows for storage of manuals, cookbooks, and accessories. The cover is well made from heavy, quilted cotton twill backed with cotton covered polyester batting and is machine washable (cold recommended -- this thing cannot afford any shrinkage!!). There is contrasting black piping along the bottom and arched around the front and back sides. The cover accomplishes its intended task -- keeping dust and dirt off my prized mixer, and is a purchase that I would recommend for anyone who owns a KitchenAid stand mixer.

  You could fold a piece of prequilted fabric, cut two triangles and stitch it up for a fifth of what this goes for, or get a universal cover. It is in no way the shape of the KitchenAid. Pass this one by.

  I've had my Artisan 5 Quart Kitchenaid Stand Mixer for a few years now, and always thought that this cover was a bit of a luxury, and that I could easily find fifty other things to spend twenty-five bucks on. Even for all of that, it occurred to me recently that, with cats in my house, a cover for my stand mixer would save me some pre-mixing clean-up time. Now that I've gotten my cover, I'm thrilled that I decided to buy it!
  
  This cover is plenty big for my mixer. I leave all of the attachments in the bowl, as I'm sure your average Kitchenaid stand mixer owner does, and this cover fits over everything with plenty of room to spare. The bottom edge of the cover hits the countertop and covers every inch of my mixer, with no problem doing so. I even put the cover in the washer and dryer after receiving it, to see how much it might shrink. Mine didn't shrink at all, and the laundering got it fragrant and wrinkle-free.
  
  Even though my stand mixer is white, I opted for the khaki cover, which blends in perfectly with my kitchen cabinets and counter tops.
  
  This may not have been the absolute best thing I've ever gotten on Amazon for $25.00 or less (that'd be my Weber chimney starter - best damned $12.00 I've spent in a long time!!!), but this is right up there with the best of my best-buy-for-the-money purchases!

  I had my mixer for over a month when I finally ordered this cover. It is so great, I use the front pocket to hold all the recipes that I print up of the net. This really adds a touch of class to the whole kitchen and keeps the mixer dust free. Oh, did I mention that the kids are leaving the mixer alone. You know the old saying out of sight out of mind.

  This Cloth Cover is great and made from a very good material, but it doesn't quite fit the 6 quart KitchenAid mixer it is a few inches short.

  I have the professional 6 qt mixer, and this cover does not fit it. I looked at the description again and it states that it will cover both a tilt head or a raised bowl but this is more than 2 inches short.

  Kind of ugly. Doesn't fit the shape of the machine too well. And not big enough. It hovers about an inch off the counter.

  I purchased this cover because my old one was worn. I have a 6 quart pro mix and it stands taller than the 4/5 quart. The concerns that I have with both covers is that it does not fall long enough around the base of the mixer (and maybe there is a reason for that - let me know). Maybe revised the base of it with an elastic bottom to fit snug over the entire item. Secondly, I realize that it is cloth, but it attracts so much of the products you use to cook with if its any where near or in close proximity of the cover. When the items is washed - then its all over - because it loose its appearance and it seems to shrink. The black one was was (without bleach and it came out with splotches. Washed with like items it lost all of its color. Maybe a new material can be used. Thanks.

  Many reviews say that this cover fits the 6 quart perfectly, well this is not true. It is about an inch short of reaching the counter. It looks great having a white base sticking out beneath the khaki cover.

  even though it says it's designed to protect bowl lift mixers, this does not fully cover the pro 600 model. it has a good design, and it's a shame they don't just TELL you in the description.

  I use this on my kitchen aid artisan mixer and it is a perfect fit. I can put all the attachements like the paddle, dough hook, whisk, and kitchen aid spatula for the mixer, and the cover on the mixer bowl and still be able to put this cover on it. Great way to protect mixer when not in use.

  If I'm going to spend $299 on an appliance, I'm not going to cover it up. And honestly, why would you want to cover up your KitchenAid Stand Mixer? They are so beautiful that I just look at them and sigh. This product is unnecessary. It's like throwing a rug over a Picasso. Why?

  I bought this cover because I have not got cabinet space large enough to hold my Kitchenaid, and my 1921 bungalow seeps dust in from every door and window. I was a little nervous that it would be flimsy, but instead it's heavy canvas, quilted for extra protection, and with twill tape trim on the edges. A very durable product. The pocket on the side is large enough to store the splatter shield plus a couple of smaller items, and best of all, there is no dust at all on my mixer! Everything else that's out on counters in my kitchen needs to be cleaned before it's used.

  This cover, like all Kitchenaid products, is very well made. The material is very heavy and durable. It's not the prettiest thing I've ever seen, but it does keep the dust and junk out of my mixer. I have the smallest mixer and this cover fits pretty good. It might fit the next size up as well, but not any larger I wouldn't think.

  The Kitchen Aid Mixer Covers I purchased for my Mom and I were very well made and fit our mixers perfectly. Even though there was a great reduction in price, the covers were in their original packaging and brand new. Thank you Amazon they were around $7.00 cheaper than purchasing from the manufacturer.

  I just bought my first Kitchenaid stand mixer (Artisan) and since it's heavy I need to leave it out on the counter rather than storing it in a cupboard. This fits perfectly and keeps it clean. All the accessories that come with the mixer fit under the cover too.

  Although I saw some lackluster reviews for this product, I got it anyway and I'm glad I did (as opposed to a cheaper generic brand). It is a very good quality, heavy fabric cover that fits my KitchenAid stand mixer perfectly, even with the pouring shield on. It looks nice.

  I'd been covering my mixer with a towel for years and finally broke down and bought a proper cover. I chose khaki since I figured it would go with any decor. The cover is of a heavy material and seems to be well made. My only gripe is that it is a bit too tall and I felt it should fit perfectly. However, they might have done that to accommodate all types of KitchenAid mixers. Good product.

  The product is well made and obviously nice if you want a red touch, but I was not quite impressed with the fit around my mixer. In my opinion it is a tad too big, sadly making the whole thing look like a baggy tent instead of a tight-fitting works cover.
  
  If you have one of the bigger sized KitchenAid bowl-lift mixers (instead of the tilt-head like my Artisan model), it will probably fit like a charm though - the same cover was indeed designed for both machines.
  
  It obviously works for keeping the dust out though - I just wished it looked as good around the popular Artisan series as it does on the pictures.

  I feel this cover is worth the purchase as it's made of a rugged material and being that it's black, it won't show dust easily. I love the side pocket for the manual. To me it was worth every penny since I am unable to make my own.
