good little case By AUGJTGD6EVUYH on 2005-08-18
I like the case but would have preferred one that had the ability to be used on a shoulder strap (as of a daypack). This case works fine on a belt, but I think that an attachment design which would have allowed use on a shoulder strap would significantly increase its usefulness. Construction is excellent, padding is adequate, fit is perfect. I think that a more imaginative attachment design would have been appreciated by many.
nice case By AXN0IV07UCX3U on 2006-06-23
I got this for 60CSX. A very nice fit. Very well made case. Well padded and interior is soft so as not to scratch.
Adequate for the job By A2DTRR9SEAT878 on 2007-03-02
I got this case for my Garmin 60csx and it is working fairly well. For other 60c users here's some thoughts:
1. It is a bit roomy.
2. The thickness of the combined nylon exterior and felt interior is somewhat thin to offer any significant protection in a drop.
3. It is roomy and can probably hold a bit more than just the gps unit...perhaps the cigarette adaptor.
Overall I gave it a four stars, because I was expecting thicker protection.
A good protection for your handheld GPS as the only or extra case By A1LP2K7ETXFY2W on 2006-02-01
I bought this case to go along with an eTrex GPS. It has plenty of room for the GPS and the "quick reference card," and I can even wedge the car charger in the case if I take my time. For added protection on a snowmobile or ATV etc. it seems great. I bought a Gilsson case which totally encloses the GPS in neoprene and clear plastic over the buttons and screen. I would recommend that if you are only going to buy one case for outdoor use. If your using the eTrex in your car or for walking or for added protection (I don't care to beat on $250 technological equipment...) I think the couple extra bucks for some extra protection or a light duty or spare bag is well spent. If it was a hair larger it would've been perfect to put the car adapter in with the neoprene case, but I didn't design it =)
My second case! By AXLDK7ER2VO0E on 2007-01-03
I bought one of these for my Rino 120 a few months ago. It worked out so well I recently purchased a second for my GPSMap 60csx. Fits both well soft on the inside too.
- Great cover
     By AL5HK95XPQR7I on 2007-01-30
It fits the unit perfect and has a belt loop to easily carry your unit around.
- I use it with the Garmin GPS-MAP 60CSx
     By A2G5U1X7E9S78T on 2007-03-01
I have bought this carrier case for use with the Garmin GPS-MAP 60CSx.
It offers good padding & protection for the Garmin unit, but note that it is primarily a travel case. I use it to protect the unit from scratches and dents when it is in a bag full of other gadgets. You cannot see the screen or access the buttons when the Garmin is packed away.
If I'm being picky, the case is perhaps a little long & loose for the 60CSx, but then I'm sure it was built to fit any of the other Garmin units which might be slightly larger.
Exact Case Size = 18cm x 8cm x 4cm (Outer Dimensions)
- NOT THE CORRECT CASE
     By A5F1HPUK6L2V5 on 2007-09-19
This was shown as an accessory for the NUVI I purchased but it isn't the correct case for that unit.
- Fits my new HandHeld Garmin GPS76Csx Perfectly
     By A25DVVKPSAT6BS on 2007-11-04
The product arrived on time with no problems. A great product for the price. I would only suggest to Garmin to pad the product better which would protect my GPS from shock and possible damage. It should be toughened and suitable for rugged terrain and marine use. I am very with my case though.
Thanks
- Great Case
     By A2TPAKOLL6FA0L on 2006-01-30
This case is a great all-aroudn case. It is fleece (or a material like fleece) lined and is large enough to hold my 60CS perfectly with some room to spare. I would definetly recommend this product to someone especially because of the price.
- Not bad, but wrong case
     By A2ATNP32RE2GZU on 2007-08-08
The product description states "Rino Series". But it is not intended for the Rino 520/530. To close the case you have to slightly bend the radio antenna (not recommended).
Otherwise it is a nice case. One side unzips more than half way allowing easy access to insert/remove the unit. It is not form fitting, so it would work well with anything that fits its demensions. I measure it as 7x3x1.5 Inches. The belt loop would fit a 2.5 inch belt, and is set more towards the middle than the top.
Padding: The other reviews seemed mixed. The padding is certainly think and soft enough to prevent scrapes and scratches from casual contact and dropping. But it certainly would not dampen the shock from a fall, nor prevent cracking from a severe impact.
It's doesn't work for my unit, but it is a nice enough general purpose case that I will keep it anyway.
- Safe and clean
     By A308BIHJOPSKSF on 2008-01-12
I purchased this case to protect our Garmin 76CSX GPS unit purchased at the same time. The carrying case is well made, easy to open with the zippered closure, completely encloses the GPS and does a great job of protection. Highly recommended.
- Too BIG!
     By A2XBQ9MDP6OVVU on 2008-01-13
This case is just way too big for my GPS. After selecting the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx GPS from Amazon, I made sure I selected the correct case by first going to the Garmin website to confirm Amazon's recommendation. Garmin showed this case and part number for the GPS so I also ordered it from Amazon at the same time as the GPS. When I received it, it was obviously way too big. You could probably fit 3 eTrex Vista GPS' in that case. I think Garmin must have determined size of their largest portable GPS and created this case, thinking any and all Garmin GPS' would fit.
I didn't cut into the plastic packaging, so Amazon took it back and refunded the price. I had to pay shipping though since it was my (really Garmin's) mistake. I found a generic bag for the GPS that fit a lot better than the one by Garmin. I gave the case 2 stars only because of the bad fit. Otherwise I didn't see anything wrong or inferior about the product.
- Well made case
     By A11VPI6WLMQ2ZQ on 2006-02-20
Case is well padded and does its intended job. It is a little long for the Garmin Quest though but still usable.
- GPS storage
     By A3HLCBU1QYR4V9 on 2007-05-11
This Garmin Carrying Case is just what you need to keep your GPS unit clean and dry. You should keep your GPS unit protected when not in use and this is a nice carrying case with a belt loop and Garmin logo on the front.
- Nice case
     By A2QSDICC0VEJI on 2007-12-03
I purchased this case for my Garmin GPSmap 76C. Fits perfectly. My only wish is that it had a spot to put the car charger so it wouldnt get seperated from the GPS.
- great service
     By A2P44AUXJWGSEO on 2008-01-02
I ordered this as a Christmas present. The product came fast even during the busy holdiay season. It was exactly what I needed and is good quality.
- Gets the job done for a carrying case
     By A2T2WYQAEPBEKF on 2008-06-01
The carrying case is basic and gets the job done. I suggest that it have a separate pocket for spare batteries and the USB cable.
- Garmin Carrying Case
