  Warning, this case claims to hold 9" DVD players, but I purchased the Toshiba SD P2500, which has an 8.9" viewing screen, AND this case was the only case recommended with this item, but it does not fit! If you have a large DVD player, don't buy this. You'll just have to pay the shipping costs to send it back. It infuriated me that Amazon would recommend an incompatible product.

  Does NOT hold a 9" screen portable DVD player as advertised. I bought this case for my Toshiba SD-P2500 Portable DVD Player with an 8.9" screen and it's too large to fit in this case.

  Well designed case for portable DVD player. Has a nice velcro insert that allows you to adjust the fitting for your particular player. Very well padded and comfortable to carry. Has sleeves to carry, IIRC, 24 discs. Strongly recommended.

  I was skeptical when purchasing this Travel Case. We just purchased as Portable DVD player and was leaving for a road trip, and it wasn't safe just sitting on the console. Once I strapped this to our mini van, it was awesome. It brought the player higher up so it was at eye level, and closer to the children in the backseats. I totally reccommend this product. Great product and easy to install.

  Although this case is a bit more pricey than your standard discount store types, it is well worth the extra $$. My family just used this on a 500 mile trip. The viewing case allowed us to configure the dvd player to a comfortable viewing angle, even with the bothersome plastic handles on the back of my van seats. The viewing case has an awesome design, and keeps the dvd player very secure, while at the same time making it easy for my son to change discs. The carrying case will hold everything easily for transportation and storage when not in use. The only suggestion for improvement I have is to include one extra storage pocket for headphones.
  
  I am very glad I returned the $20 cases to the local discount stores, as they didn't offer any flexibility in configuring the player to comfortable viewing points. This is a purchase you won't regret.
  
  
• Plenty of room

  The bag is designed so that you can watch your player right in the bag. I'm not sure how useful that is given the size of the case. My 7" Initial portable DVD player is swimming in this case. I can't say as I find this a negative though as there's plenty of room to hold my player, full size fold up headphones and all of the batteries, and cables for the player plus quite a few DVDs.

  Probably my only complaint is that the pouch where you store DVDs is a little difficult to get into (it doesn't open too wide). So for those of us with fat paws its a bit of a challenge to pull out some of the discs that are in the bottom sleeves of the case.

  Overall though I'd say it's well worth it.

  I wish Targus made the same bag just a few inches wider. My Toshiba 2600 barely squeezes in the bag. However, it does fit and I was able to mount it between the two seats of our 2004 Toyota Sienna with no problems. There's also ample room for cords and DVDs.
  
  I like how this bag doubles as a storage case and a way to mount it in the car for viewing.
  
  All in all, a very nice product.
  
  
• Straps too short for Trucks!

  I have a 2003 Chevy Avalanche. The seats are contoured to your back and 5 1/2 ft in diameter. The straps provided were significantly too short to wrap around my seats. I wanted to mount my DVD player between the two front seats. The other downside was that the straps stick out because of the contoured seats making it very uncomfortable to sit. If you have flat seats that aren't as big, this would probably work for you. The case is very nice. The separate viewing holder is nice because it's not big and bulky. It won't take away from your viewing screen. It has lots of pockets and pouches for DVD's and a remote. I really liked the design, I just couldn't find a way to mount it securely and comfortably.

  This Backpack is very portable and comfortable to carry with all you need to play your player anywhere, even your car (comes with 4 extra straps for hooking it to the car). Both Malata 710v and Coby 7100 fit perfect. It's perfect for travelling and it's definitely a quality product.

• Great Case for Price

  I like that the shoulder strap is easily removed so I can carry it by the handle when necessary. It is compact but still holds all of the accessories that came with my portable DVD player. Not too much extra space, but I can bring along plenty of dvds in the sleeve space provided.

  I purchased this case along with the Coby DVD 8500 portable player...the player fits nicely...but after filling the accessory holder with the AC adapter, earphones and remote there is scant room for DVD's...better get a separate holder for your discs!!

  This case is great! I bought a 7" DVD player and it fits good. The case in this picture is for a DVD player up to 10". So I am not sure where they are saying that the size is up to a 9" player. There is plenty of room for you AC adapter and your extras! The quality of this bag is excellent. You can't go wrong for the money. This case seems harder to find these days, so If you want it, I suggest that you buy it soon.

  I am enrolled in a distance learning program where the lectures are on DVD, and purchased the Panasonic 8.5 inch DVD player to "carry my classroom with me". I purchased this case for the DVD player and it is wonderful. The DVD player has a very bulky external battery, I needed it for the long life, and this bag holds the player with the battery attached perfectly. There a padded insert that creates additional storage for the adapters and headhphones next to the case. The shoulder strap is VERY comfortable, others should learn from this one. The front pockets, one for DVD storage, the other for...I use it to carry my Bible for reference when "attending class"....it will hold a small book or other accessories very well. The DVD storage pocket will hold 15 or more DVD's easily.

• Stylish bag for Dell 700m

  I'm pretty picky, but this bag lived up to the various good reviews I read on Amazon. As others have said, you cannot fit much in the bag other than the laptop itself. In other words, bulky accessories will not fit. However, you can fit your Dell 700m with the extended battery and an extra 4 cell battery as well (placed vertically next to the computer). You can also fit on top of the computer a very small wireless mouse (e.g. I found a very small GE Wireless Mouse, which isn't the best product, but fits in the case---there are probably several other small mice that will fit). In addition, there is an outside document pouch that you can fit some papers in--although a small stack of papers is all that will fit. The bag is very attractive and professional and provides ample protection for your computer. I would have given the product a 5, but the bag is experiencing a little bit of wear on the corners and I've only had it for a few months.

  Easy and good for travel. We use it on plane - can see dvd player with it still in the case and hold it semi-secure while playing. The straps can be wrapped around the food tray in airplanes so it doesnt go anywhere when my kid grabs it. Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.

  My sister was kind enough to buy me a portable DVD player so I could watch movies during my ridiculously long Dialysis treatments, but ever since I received it I was carrying it around in the thick plastic tubing it came in to protect it from damage.
  
  I read numerous reviews online regarding this DVD case and I've been delighted with it's quality and durability. I now place other accessories like headphones, lip balm and medications and lab reports so it's become my official DVD Dialysis bag. Besides the main DVD section, it has numerous zippered areas to store more than enough DVD's.
  
  I recommend this to anyone seeking a great compliment to their portable DVD equipment. You will not be disappointed.

  DVD001, i think fits upto 11 inch portable dvd players . I can safely say definitely up to 10 inch ones.
  
  I use it for my LS2 Panasonic player. i have additonal space on the side for wires and adapter.
  
  I place my player vertically in the bag not horizantally, that makes better utilization of space and it fits perfectly .
  
  I do not think you can fit any player bigger than 8.5 vertically as mine fits perfectly and nicely.

  The Targus DVD001 13 Portable DVD Player Case was exactly what I was looking for. It is an attractive bag and very functional. One of the features that I enjoy is the strap for long carries in large airport terminals. The padding on the strap has elastic characteristics that provides a very comfortable fit. The storage space with the various compartments was also surprising and accomodates all of the accessories that came with my Panasonic 9 inch player. Not only that, but the main compartment also allows a pair of Sony noise cancelling headsets that I got for listening on a noisy plane ride. The headsets twist sideways for a flat profile and are able to fit on the top of the player when it is strapped in. It's a tight fit, but works very well. Overall, it is a bag that will provide effective carrying of your player, accessories, several DVD's or CD's (22 total) and even note pads, pens, boarding pass or flater items in its front and back compartments.
  
  
• Targus DVD001 - Love it!

  This review is for the Targus DVD001 case (inside, according to Targus, is 12" x 2.5" x 9.5"). I bought this over a year ago to use with a small 12.1 inch laptop (11.75 by 1.5 by 8.5). The laptop fit is snug with room for 1 or 2 rows (2 each) of standard DVD cases on top. So as long as you are looking at the DVD001, then you can be sure it will hold players of like size. However accommodating accessories like power supplies, might still be an issue. The side pocket will, at a stretch, accommodate the power supply, as long as you don't mind the bulge and don't intend to use the DVD slots. If you find that an issue you might want to aim for 14" laptop cases instead.
  
  Targus has discontinued the DVD001, so get it while you can. Targus doesn't make anything in the 13' size anymore.

  Our DVD is a bit chunky and didn't fit in some other cases we tried. It fits very well in this case. This one doesn't have a system for hanging the case between two seats in the car. That is it's most significant drawback. Another minor issue is the power supply and cables barely fit in the pockets but this would probably be an issue for any case. The front pocket of the case has sleeves for up to 10 DVDs which is a nice feature.

  ...forgive me for going retro on the slang but I couldn't think of another word that can truly describe my elation over this bag. I am sooo glad I chose this particular one. I had 3-4 bags from amazon that were in the running but I went with this one and it did NOT disappoint. I have an 8" portable dvd player and it fits it perfectly and securely. Plenty of room for the 2-part adapter cords to fit in right next to the player; good amount of dvd slots that can be doubled/tripled up if you don't mind ur dvds touching; versatile carrying style with both handle and shoulder strap; front velcro pocket for misc when you need to just slip something flat in the bag in an instance; surprisingly light weight to carry which I LOVE the most.... makes it so easy to tote ur portable around.
