If you don't, you know what'll happen:
There you are, shaving for that special evening out when you realize your face isn't getting any smoother. No matter how many passes you make with your Norelco Reflex Plus shaver, you just can't seem to get that clean, close shave you remember from when it was new (when was that? June, 2003? 2002!?).
It's too late now. No time to throw on a T-shirt, tear out of the garage to the nearest T**get, W*l-M**t or R*te-A*d and hope and pray they have a pack of Norelco HQ55+ heads in stock.
Look, Amazon.com is going to pay for Super Saver shipping anyway, so there goes one excuse. Norelco knows some guys keep a backup set of heads in the bathroom, so they seal the package against humidity. Even if your shaver is brand new, why not order the new heads right now? When they arrive, jot the replacement date on the back of the package with an indelible marker and toss it into the bathroom drawer, next to the replacement heads for your electric toothbrush.
It's OK, you can thank me later.

Have been unable to remove and replace with the new heads because the instructions are very poor and totaly lacking with any detail. Have given up for now and placed them on a shelf to await a time when I feel that I can devote a lot of effort on this small endeavor that has become a major problem for me. In the mean time I have gone back to using disposable razors.

I bought these blades for my husband when the ones that came with his razor wore out. I knew it might be cheaper to just buy him a new razor, but found these new replacement blades at Amazon for such a low price I decided to purchase them for him. He says the razor works good now. I Definitely would recommend buying from Amazon.com instead of buying new blades in a retail store where they are much more expensive.

The razor is awesome. I replaced the blades with this replacement set, and it works fine.
Amazon.com's packaging was tremendously wasteful. It was mailed in a 12"x9"x4" box, and the postage was quite high. The product itself was the size of an index card and could have been sent in a CD mailer or a "letter"-sized package. I understand that for efficiency they reduce the number of packaging options, but this seems a little excessive. If you bought one CD, would it come in a foot-long box?

I bought my first Norelco electric razor way back in the 80's. I STILL have it. I decided to put that to rest and buy a Norelco with floating heads and it is even better.
The replacement heads at local stores are expensive. Fortunately, I was able to purchase mine at 50% off. Great company, quick service.

I find that these heads and cutters have the same problem as most Norelco blades they do not cut all that well. Other shavers such as Braun do a better job.

I bought the shaver and replacement heads along with the shaver. We haven't used the replacement heads yet and don't expect to for some time but the shaver is good for the price. My husband has bought more expensive ones and has not been satisfied with their performance so we went ahead and tried this low cost shaver. My husband says the heads don't seem to rotate fast enough but it does an OK job for the price.

The job my razor did certainly improved once I replaced the heads. The directions on replacing the heads was clear and concise; getting the package open was another issue, and the plastic was very tough, and you did not want to risk damaging anything. It was very clear that one replaces all three heads, and that job was very easy.
My Norelco razor has the model number on it, and the replacement heads are also specified by number, so if you lost the manual, you are not out of luck.

I changed the heads on my shaver after about a year-and-a-half of use. I had noticed a less close, harsher shaver. There was some improvement after changing the heads, but not that impressive. It's relatively easy to change the heads, but some parts can fall out, so you have to be careful.

I was not getting a clean shave. Cleaned the razor thoroughly. Still lousy shave, and it took a long time to get it done. Ordered these new heads, put 'em in the day they arrived, had a clean baby-smooth face in one-fourth of the time of the old heads. Excellent product. I'll get another set in a year or so.

this replacement makes using the shaver cost $2 a month. it's half the price of the shaver! but it does make the shaver feel like brand new again.
