    (12 reviews)
Best Price: $19.95 $19.90
The eight brightly colored scoops encourage color identification, and stacking the ice cream on the cones promotes fine motor skills. To help preschoolers learn the colors, each scoop is clearly marked on the inside with the name of the color (blue, red, etc.). Scoops measure approximately 3" x 2" each. GOTTA HAVE IT By A18N2D8OWY91Q1 on 2005-08-25
This is a goody. this is good for color learning and pretend food play. Under each ice cream scoop is the color in bold black lettering. The quality is amazing, the icecream looks so realistic. the scoops have a nice weight and texture to it and it fits snuggly on the cone. And you get 2 cones. Its also great for stacking.... very cool. My kids love it !
High Quality Toy By A32RR5LEG79LW5 on 2006-12-19
This is an excellent toy. All parts are made of a heavy-duty soft rubber. Vibrant colors. Very realistic looking. Same can be said of the shape sorting cupcake sister product made by the same company. My two year old daughter and 4 y.o. son both love playing with this in their pretend kitchen.

This toy was at my daughter's language school when we registered she loved it. Since she rec'vd hers at home she plays with it alot. The only thing I would mention is that sometimes the cone colors don't stack well. It is a good learning tool for her.
My kids love this! By A2QCE7L6GRE3MT on 2007-09-16
I have 3 kids and have become a bit of a toy connoisseur over the past few years. This toy is great. Excellent for teaching colors, and my 1 year old loves holding the ice cream cones and walking around the house with them. I appreciate that it's good for younger children, as well as older children learning their colors. It's also nice that you can stack the ice cream (though it doesn't stay put very well if turned upside down... but then again, neither does real ice cream). Great toy.
all scream for ice cream By A1MPGDUBXMCDQU on 2007-09-30
In the land of pretend foods, this ice cream set ranks in the top tier - and then they've gone and made it educational, too. I have the original set (each cone is a solid color, not mottled with white as in the illustration), and kids love it. There hasn't been a tremendous deal of attention paid to the color names written inside, but they love stacking the colors, trying to invent pretty color patterns, playing ice cream shop and including the cone and ice cream shapes in their general play in all kinds of ways. The pieces are very well made. I love this toy.
- Daughter loves this!

My daughter knows all her colors but she is really into asking people what their favorite ice-cream is so I got her this toy more as a pretend food toy. The product is durable - the only issue I have after we've had the toy less than a week is that the first scoop is hard to manipulate onto the cone for my 33 month old. I imagine she will master it after a few more times of playing though. However, once you have the first scoop on the cone, its really easy to add the others as you just place them on top and they stay on pretty well.
- Pretend ice cream cones

I bought this toy for my 2-year-old son. He enjoyed playing with it - stacking the different scoops on top of each other. It comes with two cones and 6 scoops and is very sturdy. The only problem I've had with it is that some scoops fit together better than others so that some easily topple off if you tilt the cone. It a great toy for learning colors and for pretend play.
- A gift my kids were jealous of

I bought this as a gift for my two year old niece and now I'm hoping it and the other Learning Resources smart snacks get discounted again! The colors are vibrant and it has a nice texture - all the kids kept licking the ice cream. And my son wanted to take the gift home.
- Great Learning Toy!

My daughter loves making scoops that are so high they topple over when she tries to walk... LOL but she picks them all up and tells us the colors!
- Simple idea, tons of fun and imagination

My 2 1/2 year old daughter played with these cones at a local fun spot.
I knew immediatley that I would have to purchase these for her. They are so durable and fun. She played with just that for over an hour, stacking the ice cream, playing ice cream shop and serving, it was endless. She didn't want anyone else there to even touch it! Such a simple toy with tons of fun and possibilities. Great toy!
