Value Athletic Shoes

I'm in my mid-40's and have had at least 20 pairs of these athletic shoes. They wear well, are instantly comfortable, reasonably priced and maintain a good appearance. Everytime I've purchased more expensive models costing twice the price of these, they've disappointed. I did not feel the additional features were worth the price.

This is the best damn tennis shoe made...period! It's great for walking, running, hiking, dinner parties... you name it. It never wears out, sure it gets old and grungy looking, but it doesn't fall apart! The shoelaces are the best part... they never come untied and they will outlast the shoe. I will continue to buy these 608s as long as New Balance continues to make them. Simply a great product.

I owned my first pair of NB608 for about 8 years (still have them). Bought a new one as the old ones are kinda rough looking. These are the BEST shoes on the market. Have had the second set for about a year now. EXCELLENT. Will buy a third pair with these wear out.

I was very satisfied with my order. The shoes arrived from FL exactly one week from the date I ordered them. The shoes fit well, are very comfortable, I cannot see any problems. Even with the $6.00 charge for shipping, the shoes are about $8.00 less than similar models I could find in local stores.

- Incorrect Size

I ordered a size 2E width. I have never had a problem with the proper fit in this width with New Balance. However, this style is much too wide and the shoe does not fit properly.

My husband started wearing these shoes several years ago. He loves them. We had trouble finding them locally and he tried other New Balance styles. He always had problems with his knees. These shoes are the best.

My husband has a foot problem and a bad back. After shopping at many different stores he finally found a pair that he liked. Naturally, he wanted to stick with them because they really helped his feet and his back. Well, the store stopped carrying them (of course), so I had to find them online. This is the only website that offers what my husband needs. I hope that this shoe is available for a long time! It is a great shoe, and doesn't cost one of our children or our body parts! lol New Balance has a real winner with the NB608!

Color was not what I expected, and the toe area is cramped. The same size bought in the store has more toe room and more gray on the sides. Saved a couple of dollars, so I will go back to the stor next time.

New Balance, IMHO, make the best wide shoes (and only brand to make wide children's shoes - friends have sworn by Nike since they first came out, but they run narrow). The 620's Cross-Trainers in particular are the lightest (1.5 lbs) and most comforatble sneaker I've owned (with good lateral support), although I wish they came with a slightly thicker insole for a bit more shock absorption (but they are replaceable). I also like White (no crazy colors).

I have owned New Balance in the past and for me they hold up well to being worn even daily. They last a good long time (but then I'm not hard

My son has a very long narrow foot and it is difficult to find appropriate sneakers for him. The New Balance line carries a number of styles in narrow widths. This particular shoe is a good all-round shoe for work and normal exercise.
My son likes this particular shoe and it is good to be able to find it on Amazon.com.

the color that I recieved was black on black, from the image the shoe appears as a white shoe with colored accents in the displayed options. At least that is what I assumed based on the image, I ended up getting all black sneakers, the proper style but all black. I don't know if this was intentional (the supplier trying to offload excessive supply of all black which is possible) but I can't give it a full rating because of this mistake. Other than that the shoes are the right size and are reasonably comfortable.
