  My husband and I got this LEGO set for our 9 year old son, and he absolutely loves it. He is a LEGO nut and had been specifically looking for a LEGO people set so he can interchange the outfits, hairs, etc. to build his own LEGO characters. This set has pretty much every general "character" you can think of...from a pro-skateboarder to a firefighter. This set is also great for kids who enjoy role-play because of the various characters offered in this set. The only thing that caught us a bit off-guard was the size of the box. Based on the price we paid (around $43) we thought the box would be bigger...although there are 200 something LEGO people pieces. I guess we're just used to seeing a bigger LEGO box when we purchase a set for $40. Regardless, we all have enjoyed playing with the LEGO people.

  TYPICAL LEGO SETS HAVE A FEW PIECES OF PEOPLE THAT CAN BE PUT TOGETHER, MY KIDS ALWAYS ARGUE OVER WHO GETS THEM. WITH THIS SET THEY HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH PEOPLE TO PUT THEM TOGETHER AND BUILD THEIR CITIES AND HAVE ADVENTURES.

  I sent this to my 4year old grandson, Aidan and he was just thrilled.
  He was so excited after he recieved the Lego Community Workers Set that
  dinner was not an option that evening. Nothing could pull him away and
  his Mommy, my daughter thought they were so cute.

  They are so much fun, I asked for them after my brother got them for Christmas. There are a million pieces. (This is great for someone without an infant in the house.)

  We purchased this set of people at the same time we bought a bin full of legos (also from Amazon). Our son has played with these more than the regular legos. He loves the ATV's and bikes especially! Gotta have these with any set of legos!

  the lego community workers set met our expectations and even more. The set comes with lots of different pieces and has made our lego experience very fun. Albeit a little on the expensive side, this set is well worth it.
  
  
• Great complement for other LEGO toys

  My 7 year old son has had a lot of fun with this toy. He has combined the small figures with other LEGO toys to create new games and sets.
  
  Pros: Many figures that can be used with other LEGO sets
  Cons: Some of the figures are repeated or have small variations. You can play with it and have fun, but you will need to combine it with other LEGO's to really enjoy it.

• A fantastic toy for all ages

  We bought the LEGO Community Workers Set for my 10 year old son who loves LEGOS. He has spent hours putting together the wonderful characters, changing them, putting them in different "stories" he creates with his other LEGO blocks. There are tons of ways to change the characters - their hair, clothes, hats, etc. We wanted to try these because we have found he likes to use his imagination making up his own play sets, rather than the ready made ones.

  I ordered this lego set for my 6 year old. All he wanted for Christmas was a "bucket of LEGO guys" to play with. The order was processed quickly and arrived faster than expected. This particular set has a wide variety of parts and is a lot of fun. Our house is full of LEGO products. They are creative, durable and highly recommended!
  
  
• Great Addition to Lego Sets

  I bought this set for my two sons (ages 5 and 4) because we didn't have enough people with the Lego tubs they received at Christmas -- two little men when you have two kids plus visiting friends just isn't enough. Now they have more than enough people to play with when creating their imaginary scenarios (usually bad guys vs. good guys, and now includes girls thanks to the new set). In my opinion, it was a bit pricey, but it has been worth it as I've watched their imaginations grow AND haven't had arguments over who gets to play with the one person we originally had.

  When I bought some legos for my childs 4th birthday, I could not believe that they did not come with figures. You could not even buy any at the stores I checked out. I went here and found this whole set of figures. This is good since the kids tend to fight over who gets the people. With this set there are plenty to go around. My 4 year old loves it and so does his big sister who is 9.
