These slim jewel cases by Fuji provide sturdy protection for CDs; but they can also store DVDs as well as CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, and more! I have been fortunate in that the cases I bought never cracked when I tried to open them. Could that be because I'm a 90 pound weakling? SMILE Well, I doubt it--I think these are well constructed. They hold together for years at a time and that's great.
Moreover, these slender jewel cases provide excellent storage for media and they measure roughly half the width of the older, original jewel cases that seem far too wide and "fat" today. You can stick a "post-it" note to the front of the jewel case to indicate what's on the disc inside, too.
Moreover, these jewel cases are affordable--and that's great in these times. Each case costs roughly 16 cents which is great considering how long these will last for you. These jewel cases can be storing discs on bookshelves, cabinet shelves or whatever. They are not ugly, either. In fact, they come in several different colors including red, yellow and blue. You can use these colors to categorize types of media so you don't have to hunt endlessly for the type of media you're looking for.
Overall, I highly recommend these CD/DVD jewel cases for anyone who wants compact yet sturdy storage for their media. I feel badly for those reviewers who had some damaged cases in their shipment; but my shipment came completely intact. Use these in good health!

Quantity vs quality

You can't beat the price for the number of cases you get. However, out of the 100 cases, I think about 7-8 of mine were broken. While I was disappointed, I still think this pack is a good deal.

This is a great product since it is cheap and you can color coordinate your cd's with them: each of the colors represents music, data, pictures etc. Great!

Yes, they are cheap. Cheap product, cheap packaging, cheap price.
I got mine via 2 day shipping, and 9 cases were destroyed. There was no apparent damage to the shipping box, but inside?
These cases are very wimpy. I can envision them breaking after a handful of openings/closings. They certainly won't stand up to travel of any kind.
Next time I will spend the extra bucks for some quality.
But hey, you get what you pay for.

I ordered these for a video yearbook I put together for our school. They don't appear very durable, but for the price, served our purpose. There were approximately 10 or so that were crushed on one end, so I had to throw them away. Still, OK for the money.

These cases do their job pretty well,keeping Dvds/Cds covered but they are cheaply made.Even though these cases keep discs covered they should not be stacked on top of eachother or have anything put on top of them.These cases are made of very thin plastic and can break pretty easy if you apply any real pressure to any one of them.Other then being cheaply made,they work well.

I have bought several of these 100 packs over the last several months and I am thoroughly pleased with these purchases! I will keep coming back for more! The price is right, and the cases are colorful, durable, and extremely helpful for someone who often burns dvds/cds or receives dvds/cds from friends and family that often come in flimsy paper sleeves. They keep my dvds/cds safe from dust, breakage, and any other concerns to precious and fragile items like these! Amazon ships them safely and quickly and they are a long term solution to an annoying spindle problem!

Great buy. No broken cases. May be a tad more expensive than other cheaper jewel cases, but worth it, considering complaints about cheaper jewel cases.

When I saw the price, I thought it was a good deal. When they arrived, the amazon box was fine, but when I took out the 100 pack of jewel cases, it looked liked it had been kicked around. So far I have used 5 cases and I've had to throw away 15 due to them being in pieces. I won't be buying these again.

These CD Jewel Cases were just what I was looking for. They have the colored trays and the clear covers, which is not always explained in the description. The price is a real bargain and I have not found a single bad unit in the pack of 100. I will definitely look for these again when it is time to buy more.

This is a standard slim case, of standard quality. Nothing negative or positive to say, it does the job it is meant to do, has little clips in front so you can slide a cover if you want, the colors are bright but inoffensive. My main comment is that, at $15 and change for 100 qty., this is an exceptional value!

The product is alright for what it costs, but I am really pissed by the packaging department. This item comes wrapped in brown paper instead of bubble wrap and at least 10 to 15 of the cases end up broken. I complained and the Amazon Customer Service people worked it out with me, but I STILL want for purchasers of this product to complain to customer service if you order this item and they come broken. That is the ONLY way something will be done about this Bad Wrapping.

this is a great product especially for the price the only thing is that there were about 15 broken cases when i received the item... otherwise i recommend this because that many cases is not that big of a deal for the value that is offered and they are colored!@!!

Fuji CD-R/DVD Slim Jewel Case, color ( 100 pack )
As I do a lot of one off CDs, these cases have proven to be the best for mailing. Price has always been dropping on these, but this was a very good price at this time.
Shipment from this supplier could be improved as I still lost a couple at each end. This time the breakage was less than typical making this provider better at shipping, but no one has worked out a way to do a clean shipment.
Overall, I will use this supplier again as long as the price is competitive.

These work well for what I use them for. I have a DVD recorder and record a lot of stuff off TV so it helps to have something to store the DVDs in. They also get used for the occasional broken CD case. So, for what I need them to do, they work fine.

These are very inexpensive. They are lightweight and I have had a few come apart at the joint. I would probably try to get a bit heavier weight plastic next time.

- Cases Smell

My Fuji CD-R/DVD Slim Jewel Cases arrived in good condition today, but they smell.
The cases were packed in cardboard that had a strong moldy smell.
I thought , no problem. Throw away the carton and end of problem. WRONG.
Remove the cases from the inner cardboard and shrink wrap then end of problem. WRONG, they still smell.
Lucky me, I ordered 2 cases of 100. I'll be smelling these jewel cases forever!
