• A Good Deal, Nice Case, Not Perfect In Car

  I was pleasantly surprised when I received the case in the mail -- it is nice looking and compact. It's great for carrying the DVD player around not just in the car.
  Pro's:
  1. Looks nice.
  2. Storage for a couple of CD's and power cords/head phones.
  3. Has a useful power-out hole, and a headphone splitter for two headphones.
  Cons:
  1. Our little girl is in a gigantic car seat -- lifting her up so she could kick the player with her feet where it hung of the back of my chair (see user pictures.)
  2. It probably needed to be messed with more, but it wasn't the easiest thing to get the case to hang right and also hold the DVD player in it. The screen bent forward, or the whole thing listed awkwardly to the side -- but it did work! Do a trial run before you need to use it!
  3. Once the case is attached to your seat back, you can't easily get into the storage pocket for anything you might have foolishly left in it.
  4. You can't zip it up completely and leave it in place on the back of your seat. If you want it to be inconspicuous, you'll have to take it off!
  5. When you take it off the straps come off as well -- and then getting it back on just right is a pain all over again.
  
  With more practice I'm sure it'd get easier though, and that's why it still gets 4 stars.

  We do not like this at all. The DVD player is never held like in the picture, it always slumps down & it is quite a disappointment. Do not waste your money.

  I bought a portable DVD player for my toddler for our upcoming plane rides - yes, there were several. I thought about not spending the $$ for a case, but am I glad I did! This case fit my portable player, and still had room for the power cord, headset and five DVDs (without cases). I used two of the straps to slip the case around the tray of the seat in front of us on the plane, and when I needed to pull out the player, it was always within easy reach (and the flight attendants didn't mind because it was up off the floor). I haven't used it in the car, but I'd definitely recommend it for airplanes for ease of use and protection for the unit.
  
  

• Good holder for between front bucket seats

  I wanted to type a review based on our use of this case between the front bucket seats of our minivan - as there was not one at the time of purchase.
  we purchased this case so that my 2 boys (ages 2 and 5) could watch the DVD player in the car - they are in separted captain's chairs in the middle row of the minivan and we could not afford a DVD player with 2 screens AND and battery (we fly a lot too).
  
  *The case took a little bit of finnagling to get it adjust correctly and tightly - but we labeld each of the straps so it was faster the 2nd and 3rd time. We found that by get all four straps tight it held the DVD player very steady and did not have any problems with it working.
  * tip - we found that by unhooking just ONE of the top straps you could slide the second strap off the top of the headrest, and then leaving the bottom straps hooked in place slide it under the middle console (i.e. when stopped at restaurants, etc.)
  * you do have to unhook all of the straps to take the case into the hotel room. etc. - - although you could just take the DVD player out of the case and leave the case in place.
  * I found that I could fit all of the DVD accessories that came with our player in the side compartment - I did not try to put any DVD's in there though - and if flying would probably put the straps in my carryon - not the DVD case as it is pretty bulged out!
  
  I did not give it 5 stars because
  * I thought it forced the DVD screen slightly downward, although my boys did not complain and seemed comfortable watching it -and they are up pretty high in their booster seats
  * if the 2 front seats are not in the same position (i.e. when my tall husband scooted the passenger seat back) it tilts the screen slightly the other direction
  
  For the money though it is an excellent case that worked very well for our 7"Coby DVD player and will be used A LOT ! A great solution to letting 2 kids see one screen!

  I was very pleased with the DVD player carrying case. It has room for the accessories and for several DVDs. It is easy to carry. We have not tried to hook it up in the car but it did come with instructions. For the money it is a very good buy.
  
  
• Disappointed

  I was diappointed in this case because my 9 inch DVD player did not fit in the case. The battery on my 9 inch player clamps on the back of the player so it extends the size by several inches. The return policy was also disappointing. I had to sell it on Ebay just to break even. I would not purchase from ANTOnline again because of their return policy. This of course is my fault for not paying more attention. So don't make the same mistake I did.
  
  I purchased this one instead: Targus DVD001 13 Portable DVD Player Case.
  This model does not mount on the back of a car seat, it is strictly for carrying the player with you. That was all I really needed anyway. It costs more but the case is large, carries extra CDs and all the attachments with the player. It came with Amazon's guarantee which is terrific! So I am extremely pleased with the new case.
  
  
• Good looking case

  We recently bought this case to take our 7" portable DVD on a road trip. The straps to hook it up to the back seat works well, and is very sturdy. It made our road trip with 2 children, age 3 and 9, very enjoyable.
  The only thing that I can complain about is the side compartment. The one place where one can store car adapters, ear phones, etc., is a little small. I had to do some major packing to get it all in.
  Overall, this is a very nice product and does what it says.

  This product is fine as far as a holder for you car goes, but it does not hold our 9" DVD player. I had to return it. We did own the same one for our 6" and it worked great.

  The DVD case with harness to place on back of your car seat....what a novel idea! My daughter is three and we vacation and travel five-plus times a year. We usually travel anywhere from 2 1/2 to 6 hours on the road, she does get restless, and having the dvd case and player for her to watch a movie is a lifesaver! It is a must have if you travel long distances with children! Very sturdy construction with extra pockets to store dvd's, harness straps, batteries, adapters, etc., etc.. This product goes for 25 to 30 dollars retail. On Amazon, it is 22 WITH shipping!

  Nice case but can't watch my 8 inch player on battery power because battery attaches to back making it too large for the case.
  Like the feature expanding to two headphone jacks but use on plane limited by small size.

  This is a nice looking case, but the hooks for the car are extremely difficult to hook and unhook, there is only pockets enough for 4 dvd's and the dvd player will not sit all the way open when you are using it. All in all it serves it's purpose, but I think I could have found a better option.

  Good deal! It fits my 9" DVD player just perfect. Will not hold batteries..good for permanent fitting to the cars as a suspension system. Not enough space for holding stuff other than the DVD player.
