The flat base of this pan is coated with Magnum, Kaiser's unique cut and acid resistant surface. The rim is coated with two layers of non-stick to provide easy food release. You can use this pan to make rectangular versions of most cheesecake recipes - the volume of this pan is about one and a half times that of a circular 10" or 11" springform pan. A recipe booklet provided with this piece also has tempting recipes such as Chocolate Cake with Semi-Sweet Glaze, and Apricot & Macaroon Cake.
Kaiser’s rectangular springform cake pan uniformly bakes and seamlessly releases any cake, from banana coconut to chocolate raspberry. The reassuring heft of its heavy-gauge metal construction provides a durable pan free from bending and buckling. A deep groove encircling the level pan base provides a snug fit for its accompanying springform ring and won’t allow uncooked batter to seep through. The springform ring features a two-layered nonstick coating for easy food release and stands approximately three inches high. Kaiser’s cut-resistant Magnum coating allows the pan base to be used as serveware; simply bypass messy transfers. The stainless-steel buckle latches and releases with minimal effort. Hand wash with hot water and non-abrasive soap as needed. Measuring 9 by 13 inches and manufactured in Germany, this pan comes with Kaiser’s 5-year warranty. Better than a regular cake pan

We love our 13 x9 LaForme Springform from Kaiser. It is fantastic for bar cookies and layered cakes. The sides release from the pan and you can cut and serve right on the base. No more ruining the pan by cutting in it or destroying the brownies trying to get them out. I have never seen anything like this. What a great idea. Someone should have thought of this sooner.

The fact that you can cut on the base of the pan is a great advantage for serving. Handles 2 recipes of cheese cakes which is an advantage when cooking for a crowd.I also have a square pan of the same brand and find these pans to be of very high quality and value for money. The darker color compliments baking time as opposed to the reflective cheaper pans. A bonus is these pans are super easy to clean.

The quality of this product is no less than outstanding. Even the release clip is very well manufactured - no pinching and little effort to release the form. I have used it several times for lasagnas, with ultimate success! It washes beautifully and there's no worry about chipping or scraping - I feel that this product will last me a long, long time and the quality alone will continue to ensure it is clean and safe to use. Used two of these to make a cheesecake for my son's wedding cake, everyone loved it and the pans performed superbly, I bought them for much more than the $15 advertised today.
