  Woodstock makes several beautiful chime models, many of which "play" the notes of a well-known composition. Of course, this would be the deconstructionist version, because the notes sound in a semi-random order determined by the strength and direction of the wind, and perhaps the size of the individual chimes. No matter what order, however, the familiarity of "Amazing Grace" makes whatever notes sound recognizable as a variant. The tones are clear and beautful. The chime is simple, rather than overly worked or decorous, but that is perhaps most appropriate for "AMazing Grace," anyway. A little pricier than I would like, but this makes an excellent gift that can be enjoyed on several leverls: Visually, aurally, as text, and as part of a larger indoor or outdoor environment.

  nice, mellow sound, low tone. so low that you don't hear it much at all. when you do, can't tell it's the notes to amazing grace. but it does sound nice, when you hear it.

  I'm really enjoying these chimes. This is my third chime from woodstock. They are really well made and my oldest one is already 10 yrs old. The sound is great and makes the wind in the thunderstorms an extra special addition. Can't miss with this purchase.

  Almost every late afternoon, I will go to my favorite outdoor chair, underneath an Oak tree, where my windchime hangs. It produces some very pleasant, muted chime sounds that I truly enjoy. I would definitely buy this chime again but if I live to be two hundred, I doubt that I will ever hear "Amazing Grace".... or see Holly Hunter either....

  These wind chimes are just amazing and are so wonderful to listen to. I have since purchased a second set of Woodstock wind chimes from Amazon. I have often wondered what it was like on my front porch without these wonderful chimes. I regret not making this purchase many years ago. I have had many wind chimes, but nothing compares with these, these are the greatest! I highly recommend this item, you will love the wind chimes. I plan on giving several for gifts to my loved ones for birthday, etc.
  Any & all that see & hear the chimes just falls in love with the sound that they continually make as the wind blows.

  If you value the sound of a windchime then you know you don't purchase just any windchime, you buy the best and that's "Woodstock".My last Woodstock chime wore out after 10 years so I just purchased a larger one to replace it.The tone,beauty and quality is amazing and friends have loved the "Amazing Grace" of it.Shipping was great and you couldn't beat the price!Thank you !
