• Looks pretty nice and slim, but...

  I have to say, this is the first item I bought from Amazon that I have mixed feelings about. I wanted to try it out before comitting to it because, let's face it, you have to put your PDA in it to see how the whole PDA + case combination works. But PDA cases these days use those hard clear plastic packaging so that you can't get to the product without destroying the packaging, and therefore, you can't return it if you don't like it. The only reason I chanced this purchase was because I had a $5 Amazon promotional certificate to spend, so why not?
  
  Overall the case looks handsome and slim. The PDA slips into a sleeve inside, which is held by bands of elastic on its side and bottom edges. Access to all the relevant PDA ports are problem-free. However...
  
  The case does not close with a snap tab closure, but has a belt loop through which you must thread the belt end and pull. I found that, unless you pull the belt really tightly, your PDA (in my case, a Tungsten E) can slip out slightly about 1 cm from the top end of the case if you inverted it and shake it a little. This is a design flaw that PalmOne should address because the PDA is not completely secured in its sleeve in all directions. They could have made the elastic bands to cover the upper left-hand corner (without obstructing the SD card port) since the upper right-hand corner is where the stylus sits in the PDA. I am contemplating on adding a small velcro patch in the back to secure it if it becomes too loose, but I will hold off till the bitter end...I HATE VELCRO FOR PDA!
  
  Also, because the closure is based on the belt-loop design, I foresee that leather loop may loosen in the future after prolonged use. I have owned this case for about two weeks so far and it is fine for now. I do admit that I avoid repetitive loosening and fastening of the belt because I think it will become too loose one day. Anyone who has longer experience with this case is welcome to comment on this.
  
  It is an okay case given that it is relatively inexpensive, and looks pretty nice and slim. However, as for the complete security and protection of my PDA, PalmOne can do better.
  
  

• Nice looking but doesn't fit correctly with the Z22

  I bought this as the Amazon-recommended case for the Z22. The price was reasonable and it looked attractive. The only problem is that it doesn't appear to be made for the Z22. There's nothing to keep the PDA from falling out if you turn the case upside down, you can't get to the on/off switch and it's bigger than it needs to be.
  
  I'm very happy with the Palm Z22- I just wish they had a nice leather case that was really made for it.

  I use this case for a Palm Zire and I am glad I got it. The leather feels nice and looks stylish. It adds very little bulk to the PDA and has slots for MMC cards and other papers.(I keep a business card, just in case it is lost.) It holds the device quite securely. I like the tab closure for style, though it makes it slower to open and close. For this reason, I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

  Bought this leather case along with a TX Palm. The description should say that it would not fit the TX model but, too late, I open and find out the hard way.

  I actually bought this item at a Target Store for $19.99. I recently bought my Tungsten E and did not get a case with it thinking I can be more careful. However, 2 weeks after I bought the Tungsten, I dropped it a fews times, luckily, on the carpet. So I had to get a case for it right away. I went to many different stores to look for one. A lot of them were VERY bulky and I hate velcro and zippers. I wanted a small case that can hold my Tungsten without having it look like I'm carrying an organizer (that is why I have a palm and not a paper organizer). You can still access all the buttons, stylus,and plug-ins. I don't have a problem with the belt loop being an issue. It seem to hold it together really well. Having pockets for the SD cards, and credit card slots doesn't hurt either.
  
  The only bad thing is that your palm, after holding it upside down shaking it to see if it will slip out, it does sort of slide out slightly. Your palm won't fall out of the case, but it does slide out a little bit. I will have to do some alteration to that to secure it more.
  
  Overall, I like this case. It gives it a nice compact look and I really like the belt loop closure. It's a good case for it's affortable price.

• Tops in a case for your Zire 31

  This is the best yet case I have found for my Zire 31. It is a good fit, and gives good protection to the PDA. It looks stylish, too. I had tried the harder, plastic cases, but the plastic case with the velco is way too large, awkward, and scratches easily, the Velco holding the PDA is just added work. This leather case is better, by far.
  
  
• Zire 31 loves it, Tungsten doesn't

  This case fits my fiance's Zire 31 well. The power button, the synch and power plugs are slightly blocked, but that is okay. It is snug and protects it well without being bulky.
  
  My Tungsten E juts out on the top and slides around a little. I wouldn't feel safe keeping it in this case.

  My Tungsten TX doesn't fit properly in here. The belt loop is fine but I am not pleased that about 1 cm of my palm sticks out at the top. It should be as securely fastened as the rest of the palm.

  I recently purchased the Palm Z22 from Amazon and I also purchased this leather case "Because Amazon said it works with the Z22". Well, guess what...the Palm Z22 is too small for this case. You have to be very careful when holding the Palm in this case or it will fall right out. Not a safe way to protect your Palm. So if you are looking for a case for your Palm Z22, look else where.
  
  
• Doesn't Hold My Palm Z22 Securely

  When I bought my Palm Z22 at Staples, I talked the sales person into upgrading my case from a pretty flimsy generic to this one, thinking that it would do a better job of protecting my purchase.
  Wrong.
  The case does not secure the device into the slot - a good shake will cause my Palm to fall out.
  Additionally, the On/Off switch is covered by the leather frame.
  While I like the style, and the stylus slot, I'm going to start searching the web for something that will do a better job of protecting my PDA.

  I ordered this item to store my Palm Z22. When I received it, it was packed in hard plastic. After attacking it with a pair of scissors, I realized that my Palm slipped right out of it. When I decided I would return it, I was surprised to see that PalmOne will only take it back (with a 15% restocking fee) if it's in its original packing. Buyer beware!

  This case fit the Tungsten E2 perfectly, allows full access for all buttons, and carries extra little goodies in the process all in just a little more width than the original flap cover that comes with it. My husband loves it (was a gift), it protects his Palm and he can carry it within his shirt pocket still.

  The leather case came promptly in good condition. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it was designed only for the Palm Zire series. I had also purchased the Z22, which apparently isn't a zire. The Z22 is much smaller. It would be helpful to add a description that says, "not for Palm Z22".

  Soft and friendly-feeling case in the hand. Nice to hold!Fits Zire 31 perfectly, I agree! Doesn't slide around on upholstery like clam-shell plastic case might. Looks classy. Haven't had problem with the "tab" closure yet! Price was great! I recommend this item!

  Like many other users have commented, this case is nicely made, but it doesn't fit the PDA well at all. The leather is too thick and inflexible to provide a secure fit. The cover closes with an awkward tab and loop. The inner 'frame' that is supposed to retain the PDA is a little too deep and angles inward.
  
  It just doesn't work well - take a pass, even at this bargain price.

  I like it for its nice appearance, it's slim and elegantly designed. The only complain I have is that it doesn't secure the top of the PDA. My Palm Tungsten E slips out if I am not careful. I always make a point to secure the loop as tight as possible, but that doesn't really help.

  Amazon offered a "buy both" proposal with my purchase of a Palm Z22. This is the wrong one. The Z22 is too small and slips out easily. If you are going to make an offer to buy a case, please match it up correctly. I wrote to amazon suport a e-mail and I am still awaiting a return response.
  I am very disapointed with this mistake. Your site has lead me into making an incorrect purchase.

  This leather case is too short to accommodate the Palm Tx...it is difficult to keep in the case because of this. Though the product itself is fine, it should not be paired with the Tx and I regret purchasing it.

  I just received the leather case a few days ago, but it is a great little case and at a great price. The only thing I might change is the fact that it only has 2 slots for the expansion cards - 4 would be nice. There are so many cards you can have for maps, games, dictionary, or just additional memory card; it would be nice to have them right on hand.

• Cheaply made, poor fitting

  The case itself is fine, it's just the all important slip strap that was cut a bit too wide to slide into the loop to close the case. You can try jamming it in, but why? It should just fit, no matter what the price. Particularly since this is a Palm product, I was counting on better quality than this.

  I ordered my case mainly as a protective shield against damage while my Zire31 is in my purse. This case does a great job at protecting the PDA while offering storage (there are little pockets on the left side that I've used for extra memory cards, business cards, etc.). It has an attractive design- black leather with contrasting white stitching. The fastener is just a slide closure, but it is snug- I've never had any problems with the case flopping open. My suggestion: if you're looking for a simple, plain case to protect your Zire, this one is a great deal!

  After I ordered a Tungsten TX, this case was presented to me by Amazon, so I ordered it as well. After it arrived we found that it is too small for the TX (and I believe also the T5). You need a 3176WW Leather Case to get the right fit for the T5 or TX.
  
  My 1 star rating is for the misleading representation made for this case when I ordered it. There is no indication on the description page that it does not fit the T5 or TX. It is a perfectly fine case for the Palms that it does fit. Just beware.

  Despite what you may read about this, this is NOT a good case for the Z22. Mine keeps falling out because the case is too big. I guess the Z22 is smaller than other models. I wish I could return this. I've only used it once and that was when I got it 3 months ago.

  I must admit, that I really like the case. I had purchased two others that did not meet the need. My Tungesten would just fall out and could drop and break easily. When I purchased this one, I was very pleased.
