An OEM Product At A Fraction Of The OEM Price By A2WHQZXGP0DOYS on 2007-08-05
This product appears to be a genuine original equipment Blackberry car charger. It has the Blackberry name and logo on it. The plate on the bottom of the cigarette lighter plug of the unit states that the electric output is 5 volts, 500mA (500 milliamperes or .5 ampere). The plate on the wall charger packaged with a new Blackberry 8800 states that the wall charger output is 5 volts, .75 ampere. Thus, it appears that the car charger produces two thirds the electrical charge produced by the wall charger (.5 vs. .75 amp.)
This car charger is used with a Blackberry 8800 and has performed admirably and without any problems. It costs a fraction of the price charged by AT&T ($29.99), apparently for the same product.

Perfectly good device. I am able to use the phone while plugged in.
Works great By ABZS6LTJXX5Z6 on 2008-01-07
This works great with my wife's Blackberry Pearl. Now that she has Bluetooth in her car, she really needed a way to keep the phone charged while on the road. This does the job as expected.
Blackberry Charger By A1ETP4ETA9HKFO on 2007-06-27
The charger seems to work fine, however trying to talk why charging can be a bit of a challange due to the placement of the charger to the phone.
Good deal, works well By A3371Y8JF3XOMP on 2008-05-14
Don't bother looking around and just get this. It's a steal at ten something with shipping. It looks like it's a real RIM product and works. The company also shipped it out on Monday after I ordered on Sunday. That's quick service! I have a BB 8820.
- mistake
     By A338ANBVDR4XM2 on 2007-09-28
sf planet sends me the wrong product. I contact them and they assumed the error, but after a long e-mail conversation, they suggested that I should keep the charger they send (for Motorola), because they think it will work in my blackberry...fast e-mail reply, but finally no solution for me (the customer)
- Exactly what I needed for the car!
     By A428J3THPOV3F on 2008-07-09
My BlackBerry auto charger came as an original equipment accessory in plain packaging with a RIM/BlackBerry label. I noticed that my charger had a different voltage rating than the 12/24V description.
But the charger has worked well with my BlackBerry Curve to date and was much less expensive than buying it from an AT&T retail store.
- Works, Original fuse blew in a months time.
     By AN7Z1DCP809BO on 2008-08-30
Original fuse blew out on me after a month of little use. After replacing it everything works as planned. I did receive a OEM blackberry charger and even after the new fuse its still 1/3 the price of a store bought one. Still highly recommended.
- It's the real thing.

This is the real thing, not come cheapo after market product. Checking the stars doesn't work in Firefox 3.03. I'm trying to click on the 5th star, but they've disappeared in my browser.
- Great Charger!

A genuine Blackberry charger for a fraction of what you would pay for it anywhere else!
