For a "big" girl, it's perfect By A2LMKYB7820QFO on 2006-04-06
I bought this in a small hoping that it would provide a decent fit across my ample chest but still have long enough sleeves - and it's perfect. I bought it in white to wear under things, but now I want it in other colors to wear by itself.
Good Quality By A1OWUZBZF71FVT on 2005-12-30
Well made, fair price, fits nicely.
I don't mind that it's American Apparel... By A56GDOO2CESG4 on 2006-10-23
..it's the cheapest you'll find pretty much anywhere. Great slim cut with a classic look, and it holds up well in the laundry (warm/gentle wash, low/hang dry). I bought the black one and am so into it, I bought two more.
Great By A1L7T4Y6XLJFY6 on 2006-11-20
This shirt along with all the american apparel line is great. The quality is wonderful, the fit is fantastic (not to mention flattering), and best of all MADE IN THE USA!!!
Great Thermal By A2747U13KGPT6F on 2008-09-10
This is a very nice thermal shirt, it is light-weight (thin but not too thin) as described and is very comfortable. The photo provided is very accurate in depicting how it fits, it is tight fitting but flexable.
If you're having trouble deciding what size to get, I am male, about 5' 6" or so, 125 lbs. with an athletic build, so my chest and arms are a little fuller and defined ( like the model in the product photo I guess ). I always wear Small with AP products (ex. t-shirts, baby ribbed fitted thermal, CA fleece hoodie ) but I went with an Extra Small with this thermal and I'm glad I did, because the arms are able to go past my hands and the bottom hem is naturally on my waist (past belt buckle). It's not too big (definitely not loose) or too tight on me. Although I have not washed it yet and that's why I can only give it 4 stars, but I'm sure it will be fine based on other reviews. Even if it shrinks a bit, it still would fit perfectly I'm assuming.
Also, I bought Melange Navy and love the color, it goes well with AP T's as over shirts, especially with Asphalt, Cranberry and Eggplant color shirts. That is just my personal opinion though.
I will definitely be buying more and I can't wait until the fall/winter so I can wear them.
- Decent fit, but see through
     By A1MYFL1FRI2QJI on 2007-01-28
I've been looking all over for the perfect, long sleeve shirt - This isn't it. I'm 6 foot and it meets the requirements of having longer sleeves but it's a very thin shirt (I don't see it lasting long from wear) and more disappointingly it's see through, not allowing me to wear it solo. (white only)
For the price it's nice but don't think this is the perfect shirt. The closest I've come is the Polo by Ralph Lauren underwear long sleeve shirt I found at macy's about a year back. Unfortunately I can't find this shirt anymore, anywhere. The search continues.
- Nice Fit!
     By A1LHIYCKKGWRZ9 on 2007-04-01
I bought this in XS because I wanted to wear it under shirts. It fits perfectly and looks great. I'm planning to buy more of them in different colors. And the material it's made out of isn't too thick or too thin. It's just right.
- Nice enough
     By A26XGN517GLED7 on 2008-01-02
The shirt was much thinner than I thought it would be...BUT my son really likes it and it fits very nicely.
I think of a "thermal" as a little thicker and warmer but as I said my son likes it and that's all that matters.
- Pull a string, any string... and watch your shirt dissapear. The stitches are closed & they don't return quiries after the sale
     By A553V06T6G23E on 2008-01-05
They shut down their duplicate listing because of my comphrehensive rating of their item, service, and transaction! That should tell you something..
It is INITIALLY a nice shirt out of the package, not too wide a crew neck and slightly on the thin side if you appreciate that--with slightly see through (the white is) knit. HOWEVER, while out with this shirt (not even a full hour) my lady friend noticed a string around the neckline..I'm thinking "oh, God. I really hope they at least closed the stitches" And once I got home after being considerably careful that night, I unfortunately was right about the lower quality. I realized it had to be taken to a professional tailor to be saved (why not get it right the first time?) and the whole left side of neck was actually frayed by the time the stitching started to unravel on me. I did try to contact this seller but to NO AVAIL. The staff at Baby Lux and affiliates DO NOT seem to return e-mails, and if you call prepare to leave a message (which I seriously doubt they will address your concern) be prepared to move and find something better on AMAZON, or either at the store.
- cozy
     By A3IN2MF9QO0W9G on 2008-01-19
Warm & soft, these thermals are a necessity for winter layering. They also look good alone, so they are quite versatile. Excellent quality in both the fabric and the construction of the shirts.
