  • Superb and never die out batteries

    By A1NKKXPG8KAZ8R on 2005-05-08
These batteries are far stable and durable in long term use. I have owned non-brand name and Kodak rechargeable batteries. They are either unstable voltage output or die out much earlier than their publicized life-span. Sometimes one in pair die out then other remains(Not SONY). I can't use them for the digital camera power source because it requires delicate and stable voltage supply.

Those SONY batteries seemed not to go down voltage levels and when their charge are drained, the pair(2 batteries) go down together.
It's perfect use for an equipment that needs constant and stable power supply, like digital camera.

  • Great batteries

    By A12YC1CY1XZ6KQ on 2005-01-22
This was the best deal I found on rechargable NiHM batteries and that too these are made in Japan by Sony. It has a capacity of 2300mAh. I do not think it gets any better than this.

I would suggest anyone looking out for good NiMH batteries to go ahead and buy these.

  • Nice, long-lasting batteries

    By A1UNFJE6W5I2LV on 2006-06-27
Just wanted to echo what others have said, that these batteries seem to really last. I received a new camera and was using generic rechargeable batteries in it, almost as powerful as the 2500s here, and the batteries ran out after a few hours. Replaced those batteries with these, and these just seem to last on and on. Am very happy with them.

  • Great value for money

    By A3V0S19IU7P5L6 on 2005-07-02
I bought these for my Sony digital camera and I am very pleased with them. Exact fit into the camera and with great capacity, they simply seems to last forever, so running out of power is no longer an issue for me. The sliding case is a nice touch for storing and transporting your batteries. Highly recommended.

  • Batteries great, case overrated

    By A1B11SH70CKURK on 2006-09-23
I like the batteries, Sony's chargers and batteries are very satisfactory. Buy the batteries.

The key-ring case is overrated. It works ok but is flimsy and I don't expect it to last. It also isn't very secure with four batteries in it.

Buy the batteries. Don't spend any extra on the slide case.

  • Batteries are supposed to be standardized
    By ABT7REYWH8H8O on 2006-10-12
I have two Ni-MH chargers and sony batteries won't charge in them. They probably use some proprietary technology to prevent using other brand chargers. They force you to buy their own non-standard charger that probably won't again charge other brand batteries. And of course this is not mentioned anywhere. No wonder these batteries are the cheapest. Don't waste your money or support Sony's attempt to bring non-standard products into a standardized market. Soon we have to carry bunch of chargers instead of the good old times when just one was enough.

  • Good Batteries
    By A84AJ5OAAQEJY on 2006-08-13
I use them for wireless devices and digital cameras, with the Sony charger they are excellent. Much better than the rechargable Canon batteries

  • Sony Batteries Are Garbage
    By A2WKZC4T11762T on 2007-10-16
These batteries are garbage. I have 4 sets of 4 Sony AA batteries that are a year old. Two sets are completely dead now and won't take a charge. The other two sets won't hold a charge for more than a few days. It doesn't matter if you charge them up and throw them in your camera bag for spares. After a few days, they won't have enough charge left to power anything. I found some Duracell NiMH's at our local Wallymart and they work great. They will hold a strong charge for several weeks. I'm through with Sony batteries. 1 star for the carrying case, 0 stars for the batteries. BTW: I have two Sony BCG-34HRMF4 chargers and I think the chargers are great. Read some of the reviews there and you will see that quite a few other people are having problems with Sony batteries.

  • Pleased so far
    By A31OPGL3SM2E6R on 2006-11-09
So far I have been very pleased with these batteries. My last digital camera had it's own battery and held a charge for a very long time. These batteries have met or surpassed my expectations.
I wrote the first part of this review when I had only had these batteries for a couple of months. Now that it is a year and a half later I still am very pleased with these batteries and the charger I ordered to charge them.

  • Great for my digital camera
    By A2PJLX67DOHMAN on 2006-11-10
These batteries have been awesome. My digital camera uses 4 of them at a time and they last for 100's of photographs. Flash recharge is very quick. Highly recommended.

  • Disappointed
    By A1EWRBESN8C9GU on 2008-05-19
Disappointed in the shelf life of a fully charged battery; not more than 2 mo. then dead when ready to use. Same for all 16 Sony AA rechareable batteries I have. Seem OK if used right after charging. Clever holder.

  • Great for wireless keyboards!
    By A6XGVJSEKP1F7 on 2006-12-01
These rechargeables are great for wireless keyboards and mice! Very stable and long-lasting! I recommend these highly.

  • Great batteries
    By AD4XDZG7YCVF1 on 2006-12-23
I have been using these batteries in a digital camera (Olympus SP-510) and am very satisifed with these batteries. I would buy these batteries again.

Also purchased and use with the Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Super Quick Charger with LCD Indicator and 4 AA Batteries.

    These are 2500mAh batteries.

  • Dissapointing!!!!
    By A19VZKF765NZGP on 2007-01-05
I would recommend that if looking for a longlasting charge these are not the batteries for you. I bought these to go into my new digital camera and I was thoroughly disgusted with the quality and performance. Charger is clunky and stubborn and the batteries which were advertised to hold a charge for up to a year unused didn't hold a charge for 3 days. We took these on vacation to Walt Disney World and when the time came to make the change on day 3 the fully charged batteries were at 1/4 charge left. I have found that straight AA's off the shelf lasted longer than these brand new recharchable and much more expensive ones did. To all those out there who may think a Sony basher is in the midst, not so, I have 3 computers, TV, etc. Go with something else folks, I hate to think of how horrible it would have been if I had been somewhere where I didn't have the easy access to replacements off the shelf. Your vacation is and should be the dreams of your lifetime and to go to a place like Disney and have your brand new batteries fail is a nightmare that Sony should be ashamed of.

  • Oooh... batteries!
    By A3U41ZL33SS92P on 2007-01-09
As rechargeable batteries go, these are some of the best I've used. I've been able to charge them and keep them in their case until needed (sometimes for more than a couple months) without any noticible discharge, and I haven't run in to any problems with them losing capacity.

The only unusual thing I've noticed is that they seem a bit snug in wireless Xbox 360 controllers, but they keep the controllers working for a really long time, so that's hardly a complaint.

Considering Amazon's price for these, the value is tough to beat!

  • handy carry case keeps them together
    By A3GQF9AEG80MJR on 2007-01-15
I love this little case. That way the batteries arent cluttered around in the bottom of the case or my purse.

  • Rechargeable batteries
    By AFANKAUPOMIPH on 2008-06-09
Like these but you really need to charge no more than 24 hours prior to use otherwise they are prone to die very quickly or have lost their charge all together.

  • The best batteries I've found for my digital camera
    By A2A9B93QAG9MPY on 2007-02-02
I've had my Canon Powershot A85 for almost 2 years. I've bought several different brands of "high-power" rechargeables for it, and these are by far the best I've used. They just do their job, period. The case is great, too, very handy. A great product. If you need a charger, the one that is sold with these elsewhere on Amazon is also a great product.

  • lasts all day
    By A2X41BHAFVEN81 on 2007-05-15
    I take about 700 - 1000 photos a day (640x480)res. with a olympus sp-550uz.
These sony batteries charge quicky (I bought the sony quick charger) and they will last you an entire day or more.

Buy these batteries if you take a lot of photos, they are worth it.

I bought these to replace a set of cheap "power 2000" rechargable batteries. (amazon sells these also, I got the "power 2000" batteries free and they were not even worth charging or using. They consitently died after about 150 photos.)

  • Re-usable Case for Re-usable Battery a big plus
    By AOHK2C4LW9452 on 2007-12-21
Keeping track of my rechargeable batteries that aren't in my gadgets was always a problem. Where did I put it? Was this one already recharged or is it the one that was used up? The handy carrying case that comes with the batteries can do exactly what the batteries do - be used over and over again. I use the case to store the ones that I've recharged so they're always handy when I need them. The fact that this pack cost no more than the standard cardboard packaging made it that much better. Less waste and more usefullness makes this an A+ purchase if you're in the market for rechargeable batteries. PS - the batteries have all done their jobs perfectly - charging fully and holding the charge for the usage you'd expect from a rechargeable.

  • Too expensive and dont last long
    By A10X3S8SDWOS30 on 2008-07-04
These are too expensive and dont last long before needing to be charged again. When fully charged they still arent powerful at all.

Ive gone back to buying regular batteries because of the lack of power.

  • Bad quality
    By A37TIM0DL1S2BJ on 2008-10-07
It did not hold the charge for long. Bad quality battery from Sony.I was so mad I throw them away.

  • Excellent "add on" for charger unit
    By A66SCY21YLYPA on 2006-11-05
I bought these batteries along with the Sony BCG-34HE4 Super-Quick Worldwide Battery Charger with 4 AA NiMH Batteries. Exellent charger, excellent batteries. A real money saver.

  • Good life!
    By A3K4Q1OHZ7H1JC on 2007-01-01
I bought for use in my Sony DSCH5 camera and it`s very good. The life battery is good. I am happy with quality.

  • Sony NH-AACE Batteries

Very thoughtful and useful way of keeping 4 rechargeable batteries in one compact case.

  • Simply good
    By A1C3UW8QZCCVNX on 2007-01-09
I bought theese batteries for my canon s3 is and I have shot around 350 pics with and without flash and still have charge, i love them. If you have a digital camera this is what you were looking for.

  • These batteries keep going and going and going.
    By A2KGVKAX4TQRPT on 2007-02-09
These batteries were purchased with our new digital camera. We proceeded to take over 1000 pictures and multiple videos on the same batteries with only the initial charge. Amazing! On our older camera, with another brand of rechargeable batteries, we would find ourselves charging every couple of days, and this was after taking the batteries out of the camera after every use. We bought two sets of these batteries. Definitely a good buy!

The batteries were for my digital camera, and performed flawlessly with the first recharge.
    Great product!
    Thanks you,

  • Good, long-lasting batteries.
    By A2MVST130JUTFR on 2007-08-09
I have been using these batteries in my Canon Powershot A-620 camera for the past year. These batteries are long lasting, and the slide case is handy to keep them easily available and accessible.

  • Excellent
