If your dog is pregnant do NOT use this product, the puppies died in both my female dogs I used it on.

I had three pregnant Chihuahua females, I did NOT treat one of the females because shes is blue and more sensitive then the other two. The package states it is safe to use on pregnant females however, one week after use the two females that had been lactating, had milk and 'bagging out' dried totally up with all signs of being pregnant vanishing immediately after use of this product. I notified them, they asked me what happened, I told them, they refused to accept responsibility as the woman told me 'their' tests did not indicte this problem. If you love your dogs, your puppies, your smaller animals, do not trust this product or these people. The doctors also thought it was safe to use the anti nausea medicine in women 40 years ago that caused birth defects by the thousands! This company LIES! It is VERY dangerous to the life of your pet.
EXTRA, EXTRA CAUTION PLEASE WHEN USING PRODUCT

Within 10 minutes of applying to my dog (12 pounds), she started running around in circles to point of exhaustion, including scratching of the back and heavy breathing. After lifting her and putting my palm on her chest, I can tell her breathing was elevated and her body temperature was high. I immediately washed her and used regular dog shampoo and used lots of water to remove the products. Thereafter, she was fine. Never, never again to use this product.

We have been using Frontline on our West Highland White terriers for years and have found it to completely prevent problems with fleas and ticks. We live in the Southern U.S., so the warm weather is favorable to both.

We adopted two small dogs who became riddled with fleas. We tried flea baths, spraying the yard, vacuuming, copycat flea repellent products, etc.. Nothing got rid of the fleas until we tried Frontline Plus. After the first application the fleas completely disappeared within several days. Fortunately, the fleas have not returned and our dogs have not experienced any side-effects. Application is amazingly simple and the dogs don't seem to even notice it. We love Frontline Plus!

Most people don't think about what they are putting on their pet when they use this stuff. It's a potent insecticide called Fibronil. It is transmitted through skin-- dog skin or your skin!! Be sure to wear protective gloves--Amazon sells inexpensive boxes of throw away nitrile gloves the same type doctors use when they give patients chemo or handle potent drugs. USE THEM. Don't pet your animal where you applied the chemical. I got horrible headaches from this. It works great on fleas, and I would be sure your pet is actually at risk for fleas and ticks before randomly applying. (I held off until she had them) Now we just use the product in the summer, since our poodle is primarily an indoor pet. Fibronil is highly toxic to marine life. We don't need more needless chemicals in our environment. Use sparingly!

I ordered this product and it showed up OK but when I opened the box it was actually a 3 month supply. Amazon wanted me to return the pack of three to them and then they would send me a package of 6. I suggested that they should send me a package of 3 to make up the difference and the customer service person indicated that this simply could not be done and that I would have to return the 3 pack *at my own expense* and then they would send me a 6 pack. I asked if I could just get a partial refund. Again, this was unacceptable. So I had to return to them the 6 pack at my own expense. And I did that.
THEN... here's the kicker...
When the 3 pack that should have been a 6 pack got back to them, they informed me that I would have to take a full refund of the original purchase because they were OUT OF STOCK on Frontline in the weight class I needed.
So I had to wait for it to be credited back to my card. I'm still out of shipping BOTH WAYS and no frontline in hand.
Moral of this story?

I have been using Frontline Plus for over 6 years on my Cairn Terrier and he has never had fleas or ticks. We live in Texas, where both fleas and ticks are plentiful during the hot summer months, so I have total faith in this product.

The Frontline Plus that I received was not in a box that was packaged by the manufacturer. They were individual syringes in a zip-lock bag. I do NOT feel safe administering this product to my dog. I would not recommend ordering this product.

We have two pugs......and no fleas or ticks. Have been using this product for years and wouldn't bother trying something else. Our yard is a heavily wooded area which the dogs are in every day and we've never had a flea problem. Application is very easy.

Nothing makes me happier than a product that actually does what it claims to do. This one does. One little vial on the back of my pup's neck each month keeps her--and us--flea free. I haven't noticed any side effects. So easy and so effective! Well worth the cost.

Our veterinarian recommended Frontline Plus for our 6-month-old, 7½-pound female chihuahua. She LOVES being outdoors as much as possible. We live in a very rural area in the state of Virginia. Grassy fields and deep woods surround our home, and fleas & ticks are abundant during the warm weather season. Frontline Plus has proven highly effective for our little dog! To use, you simply apply a pre-measured, small amount of liquid to the back of your pet's neck. Used just once a month, it's convenient and trouble-free. There's no mess, and it has a lasting effect, even after numerous baths. It may cost a little more than flea powders or sprays, but it's worth every penny!

After countless recommendations by friends, family, and vets I decided to give it a shot. It really didn't do much. I have 2 Dachshunds and a Miniature Pincher that stay inside the majority of the time. They only go outside to potty. I can't say it didn't work cause they did have "less" fleas but, it wasn't worth the money at all. Just last night I picked 10 fleas off my min pin. I live out in the country so perhaps that has something to do with it but I have read many reviews that said it works in the country as well. Perhaps I have a hybrid breed of fleas that are immune to FrontLine?

Hello
We've had the dog for two years and this product has always worked for us.
I do wonder about its safety ( the box says you can't touch the dog for 4 hours after application. What magically happens after four hours to make it ok?)Anyway, so far it's working better than anything else.
