Perfect for the gym or the apartment

These are the socks that I wear for workout, as well as walking around at home. They retain their shape after repeat washings, fit snugly without binding, and are supple on the feet. The multi-sock pack is a value in itself and comes highly recommended.
Socks for Son

I searched the Internet for a particular type of sock that my son likes, but discovered they were no longer manufactured. So I went to Amazon to see what they offered and decided to try the Gold Toe. The price was excellent and my son likes them very much. (He's very finicky about some things and it was a real "if" to try something new)... I'm so happy that Amazon offered them and at a price that meant it would not be a huge loss if they didn't work out. My son has looked at the price of this sock at some of the department stores nearby & discovered that the Amazon price is very good; so now we know where to go when he needs some more. Thank you, Amazon.

Amazon notes that these socks are "only made from the finest yarns." They mean it, too! These socks keep your feet warm; and they are very well made and last forever. These athletic crew socks can be worn for athletic activities but of course they could be worn for everyday routine use as well. In addition, they are made from 85% Gold Toe's "Ultrabrite" acrylic and 15% stretch nylon. Amazon states that the acrylic gives these socks "wickability" but this word may be a typographical error; I could not find an entry for the word "wickability" in the dictionary. The price is right, too.
These crew length socks also fit any shoe size between 7 and 12; therefore it is--almost--one size fits all. The reinforced heel and toe makes them last longer and they still feel very comfortable on my feet. The sock itself comes in white; but the toe area is literally made from gold colored fibers.
I would not dry these socks at high temperatures. This could result in the sock becoming too loose on your foot. Eventually they could "bunch up" when you wear them and that's very uncomfortable. Dry these fine socks at a lower temperature. Then they will remain just as comfortable as ever. I know mine do!
Overall, you can't go wrong buying these socks. They keep your feet extra warm during colder weather. They are manufactured so well that you definitely get more than your money's worth. A good deal!

Good socks

In the few weeks that I have had them, these seem to be a good pair of socks. They are thickly woven throughout the foot component, with additional reinforcement at the toe and heel. They are slighly large for me, and my shoe size in a 10. I may have missed it, but I do not remember an option to choose a size of the sock when I ordered this pair. With the exception of the slight over-sized problem, I am pleased with the socks and do have the impression that they are well made and will be durable.

Gold Toe makes socks as well they can be made and these socks are no exception. They wear extremely well. Being non-cotton acrylic they don't lose their shape or their bulk when sweat-soaked. Contrary to the claim in another review, they also don't shrink (or lose their shape). I play tennis 5 times a week with double-socks each time and have had a 12-pair set last me over two years (and still going).

After trying most of the golden toe white socks, I've found this type the most comfortable. After looking in many retail stores was not able to find. Did a search in Amazon and here they were. Great sock, would highly recommend.
- Very disappointed

I purchased these sox for my husband who has Parkinson's Disease, and has trouble putting on sox. (The disease has limited his finger dexterity.) The sox came in a package of six pair. I opened the package and we tried to get them on his feet. It was difficult as the sox did not stretch. At the end of the day I had to help him take them off. After washing them I found they shrunk so much he could not wear them at all. I looked into returning them but because they came in a six pack I could not do so. I ended up giving them to a charity. This is the only time Amazon has disappointed me. I decided to only use Amazon for books, not other products.

These go on real easy, and come off real easy. They feel like a regular cotton sock except that they wick sweat away. I'm ordering more.
- Socks are soft but the elastic sucks

First of all, I have size 11 or 12 feet and these socks seem too long... Also, the elastic does not keep the socks up on my calf, so if you don't mind having to pull up your socks all of the time, then these just might be the socks for you....

I was a little leary about spending so much for socks, but when I put them on for the first time, it was worth the price. These are, by far, the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. The elastic is strong enough to hold the socks on your leg, but without cutting off your circulation (like the last socks I purchased.) The socks are also thick enough to be "springy", while allowing your feet to breath. I would buy them again.

The socks are soft, but fit loosely on my foot, not snug. They are thin and after a few hours no longer provide absorption. Instead, they seem to get looser and often get creased under my feet.
I ordered 24 pairs. About 3 socks came damaged when I opened the packages. I also don't like that the paper that holds them together leaves glue behind.
