  I own a detail shop. I have tried many products over the years and have found the polymer products work the best. I use Zaino as my main finish protectant. But did give NXT Tech Wax a try. I always try new products on my own cars before any customers. I waxed both my 2004 auto's in the same weekend, 1 with Zaino's and the other with NXT Tech Wax. As far as I can see the NXT went on and off as easy, left as deep a shine and seems to stand up to the eliments just as well as the Zaino's. With the only real difference being price I'll be using the NXT Tech wax from now on.
  
  

• Great Product When Applied Properly

  I have been using NXT Tech Wax on my two vehicles for over 6 months. I a very pleased with it. It really pops the shine out on my black Toyota Tundra. The key is to apply it properly. Use it very sparingly, a little bit goes a long way (the cost may seem steep, but you get a lot of use out of one bottle). Don't apply to a hot surface, it will dry too fast and streak. Make sure it is totally dry before wiping off (apply on a low humidity day if possible), I usually do the whole vehicle and then go back and wipe it off. Once you understand how to apply it, it goes on and wipes off very easily.
  
  Remember that this product is only a wax, not a cleaner wax like most people use. Therefore, if you have scratches/swirl marks etc. you should use a polish on your vehicle before you apply the NXT, as it will not remove blemishes. However, it does seem to cover them up a bit. Further, unlike normal cleaner/waxes, it does not seem to "remove" the old wax as you apply multiple coats. Therefore, as you re-apply it, the product seems to "layer" and get a deeper and deeper shine. It also seems to keep it's shine a long time.
  
  I was going to purchase the popular Zanio wax before I saw the NXT in the store. Like the Zanio, NXT is a synthetic wax, however it costs a lot less. That said, I have not personally tried the Zanio, it may even be better. But I a very pleased with the NXT.

  I don't have a lot of time washing and waxing my car. So, this product works well for me because it goes on easy and wipes off easy. My car is a silver metalic and this works great on it. I definitely notice a mirror like shine after applying just one coat. The surface is also slick and water just beads on top of it. A draw back is that it doesn't seem to last very long as my last waxing job lasted only about 2-3 months.

  I am a proffessional car detailer and have used many waxes through my 40 year career. Meguiar's NXT Tech is by far the best wax I have ever used. It leaves a tremendous deep shine and gloss. Keep in mind it is a wax, so it is essential for the best results to use a cleaner polish before applying the NXT. If the surface is clean you could get by with just the wax. I find that it lasts a long time in fact on one of our cars it lasted an entire year and the car sits outside. The key of course is to wash often, once a week is preferable. It leaves minimal residue which can easily be dealt with using a soft tooth brush to get out the excess wax. Every year I strip the wax off our cars and reapply polish and the wax. My 2000 still looks brand new and our other cars as well. I am sold on this product. Give it try and see for yourself. It also smells nice.

  I agree with all of the pro's listed above, but this stuff only lasts about six weeks. If you are looking for something with more durability I would look elsewhere.
  
  
• Doesn't perform as advertised

  I own a black '02 Jetta TDI and am anal about maintenance, including the exterior. I'm always looking for the one wax product that best suits a black car, and have found some that work well. The NXT Gen Tech Wax isn't one of them. One requirement for me is a wax that doesn't leave a white residue to clean up and detail out. The NXT box clearly states that it leaves no white residue, but I'll attest to the fact that it certainly does. In that respect, it's no better than any other wax that leaves a residue. But the worst is the film it left on my car's finish. I waxed my car with NXT, then went on a 150 mi trip to visit relatives. I went in and spent some time with them, then we decided to go eat and take my car. The sun was shining, and as soon as I walked outside and looked at my car, I could immediately see a haze on the hood, top, and trunk lid. I did plenty of polishing after waxing, so it shouldn't have done that. I borrowed a towel and wiped it off, but it returned. When I got back home, I used alchol to remove the NXT, returned the NXT to the store, got some Eagle One Nanowax, rewaxed, and it's gorgeous....with no haze or swirl marks and absolutely no white residue. Good riddance to NXT.
  
  
• Great Product, Great Price

  The price at Amazon was more than $5 less than my local Target store. The wax is a liqht liquid that's not only easy to apply but easy to remove as well. I was able to wax my Mercedes convertible in about 30 minutes. For best results, I would use a microfiber towel to remove the wax and for a final polishing. The shine is incredible and it leaves the paint feeling silky smooth. Although it's only been a month since I waxed my car, after 4 washings it still looks great. This is certainly the best wax I have ever used. I highly recommend this product.

  This is a great investment. it may seem like a lot of money to spend, but really it is worth it. The first time i tried it on one of my 97 blazers, (black) it made it look like brand new. i would also recommend buying the booster wax, which makes your paint explode with color. Take it from a guy who knows car care, this is well worth the money.
  
  
• THE BEST NEW PRODUCT FOR A DEEP GLOSS.

  If you want a deep gloss, a smooth finish, and paint protection, then you will love the NXT. But be advised, the NXT paste, is a better product than the liquid. They both give the same look, but the paste seems to last longer, because liquid have more solvants in them. The paste is not hard to use at all, and the secret is to ues a very Small amount. If you try caking it on, you will have a hard time getting it off, and you will end up with streaks. I have a silver frost Lincoln Town car, and the NXT brings out the metal flake in the paint. The car looks as good as it did when it was new, and it is currently three years old. The cost is a littie on the high side, but don't forget, if you want the best look, and protection, it wil cost you a little more. If you just want wax, get a bottle of a less expencive product ans call it a day. If you want the best look your can have, then use the NXT. YOU WILL LOVE THE RESULTS.
  
  
• Whoa dang...this stuff hurts the eyes...

  I'm so used to using Zymol, I just wanted to try something else. So I purchased this stuff, and first off, it makes any car bling like crazy in any type of lighting. Second, if it rains, the wax stays bling and the drops just roll right off of the car for the first couple of times it rains, then you're outta luck. But if you live in an area that doesn't rain too much, you can practically not wash your car for a LONG time and just whipe your car down with a microfiber cloth and it'll be just as bling as it was when you first put it on. For application, you don't need a buffer to make it look really nice because it comes off really easily with a terry cloth.

  NXT is probably the easiest wax I've ever used in terms of application and removal. If you take your time, wash and clay your car beforehand, use microfiber towels, and apply an even coat, it comes off extremely easily. The keys there are claying your car and using microfiber. ANY decent wax will be difficult to apply and remove if the surface you're working with hasn't been properly cleaned.
  
  NXT works well on my Honda Accord - I've found that it works better on metallics (like mine) as opposed to deeper, darker colors. That said, a common criticism of this product is that shine longevity is a bit short, and I tend to agree. It starts to lose some shine after a week or two. However, I've found that it protects very well, which is more important to me than how long the shine lasts.

  I read many reviews about this product before I decided to buy it, everybody seems to be happy with this product. Personally I don't think it's that great. I must say that it works on older cars, especially dark coloured paints but when I read "with a deep wet-look shine" on the label, I really want a deep water-look shine that looks better than when the car it has water on it. This product works but I don't think is super. I have tried other quick wax products similar to this and it seems that these products work similar, so I might just buy the cheaper product.
  
  
• Difficult to apply and take off

  After using Meguiar's products for 20 years, I was extremely disappointed with this product. I used it on 2 autos with dark paint and found that when I applied it, it was very difficult to rub out the smears. I had to keep rubbing because they kept returning. This is on a 2008 Scion Xb and also a 1995 GMC pickup. I cannot recommend this product at all unless you use it with an buffer and nice finishing pad. I took another person's advice and used Eagle One's Nanowax and found that it replaced using 2 Meguiar's products to get the same desired results. I'm going to replace my large collection of Meguiars products with the Nano line from Eagle One because I'm that impressed and it was SO EASY to use. Gone were the scratches and swirl marks with only one easy application!

  Consumer Reports recently did a review and ranked this in the middle... their top 2 liquid waxes were by Black Magic and Turtle Wax... and both are readily available for under $7 bottle. They also covered paste and spray waxes. Hope this helps

• Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax - Amazing

  I've been using this product for 3 years on two different cars. First was a lexus and now a subaru. Let me tell you guys, this wax is very easy to apply, just make sure you go in the right hand motion. The Karate Kid method is INCORRECT, do not wax in circular motions or you'll get swirls.
  
  Anyways, just make sure things are applied evenly and wait maybe 10 mins, then wipe everything off with a microfiber towel.
  
  It's a great wax, shines great, very smooth. Like a previous reviewer has said, make sure the car is clean meaning use clay/polish to detail it first.
  
  The package comes with a big bottle of great smelling wax and an applicator. This stuff is easy to pour out and wipe onto the car.
  
  Downside like most other synthetics is the decrease in shine after a few weeks.

  I'm a nut with my autos's washing them every week. I've tried many waxes and sealants over the years, some cheap others expensive. The NXT wax not only was the easiest to apply and remove but it left one of the best shines and smoothest finishes I've seen. Not to mention that My car sits in the New York elements and is washed weekly. Even 2 months after useing NXT my car still beads up like the first day. Very Impressed and will be using this from now on.

  I tried many expensive wax before even with Perma Plate sole at dealership(dealer will charge $450 for the job) but, NXT generation wax does the same thing at such low price. You can feel the surface just as smooth as PermaPlate. The best of all, if you apply on the trim and rubber part of the car, It will not leave white residue as other product, and gave the car deeper dark (like new) color.

I DID NOT COMPLETE THIS ORDER AND DO NOT WANT IT COMPLETED. I find this highly distasteful by offering free shipping and then tacking on an excessive amount for shipping.

  Flashy new packaging, a fancy new name, and exuberant claims of futuristic technological advancement can falsely lead many no believe that this is the best wax they have ever used. IT IS NOT. This wax is not half bad, but it is definitely nothing new and not any sort of innovation. Works equally as well as other cheaper brands and WILL NOT remove swirl marks on dark cars just like other cheaper brands.
  Trust me, your car WILL be 'naked' if you believe everything they claim.

  Have a 2002 Silver Lexus and after using brought out a much deeper richer color. I trust Meguiars waxes and other car care products to exceed the performance of other products. The car wax went on easy and i used a micro cloth for the first time and it works better than towels, or the older cheese closth.

  Just purchased a new car and wanted to start out with good paint protection. I have used many waxes, both natural and synthetic and until trying Meguiar's NXT I've never found one that does all things well.
  This wax is fantastic ! Easy on and easy off. NXT provides a deep mirror finish, very slick to the touch. First rainfall, the raindrops literally bounced up from the finish leaving perfect beading.
  An additional plus is that NXT produces extremely low residue during buffing, a definite help with black and dark finished autos.
  Coming from someone who has personally used lots of waxes, NXT is the very best !

  I love taking care of my vehicles. I have used many expensive, imported products over the years. However, Meguiar's keeps winning me back with their incredible offerings. They are of high quality, effective, easy to find, and affordable. However, take the affordable off. I'd use their products, if they were 3x the price because I've used products that cost that much and are less effective.
  
  Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 highlights that experience. I didn't want to like this wax/sealant as much as ones I paid thirty, forty, or fifty dollars to buy. However, the results were obvious. On my vehicles, this is the best wax/sealant I have ever used.
  
  For optimum results I strongly encourage you before apply NXT 2.0, clay your car, clean with a paint cleaner (i.e. Scratch X or Deep Crystal Step 1), polish with a pure polish (Deep Crystal Step 2 or #7 Show Car Polish), and then apply this wax. The results are truly remarkable.
  
  To maintain your shine, remove loose dirt and contaminants with Quick Exterior Detailer, or Ultimate Exterior Detailer.
  
  Meguiar's keeps delivering the good stuff, and I'm a fan.

  After much research ( there are so many products on the market), I bought Meguiars for my "new to me" 2005 Buick Park Avenue. It went on super easy and was a snap to polish. My Buick now shines like new. After a dusty day a quick hosing brings that shine right back. I wiil let you know how long it lasts and how well it survives the comong Syracuse, NY weather.

  I bought NXT based on the positive reviews here. Applied the wax to two cars. Although NXT makes the paint slippy and shiny, I see no difference between NXT and other synthetic wax products (e.g. NuFinish). No surprise at all. I rather get Nufinish because it is cheaper.
