I anxiously awaited the delivery of my 300-Yard Mega Slingshot. Man was I disappointed. First off Hercules himself could not make this thing throw a water balloon 300 yards. It just won't happen. I noticed how in the advertising it shows an elderly gentleman holding one side of the sling and what could be his son or son in law holding the other side. The launch is being performed by a smiling but well proportioned female. Trust me this balloon didnt make it more than 50 yards. On the third attempt mine broke where the two pieces of tubing are held together. The tubing itself is strong, but the "sleeve" that connects the tubing is the weak link. The balloons that come with the set are very small more like water balls than balloons. And again before I had a chance to practice my technique the sleeve which holds the tubing together split open. The only thing that really gets launched by this thing is the consumer's cash.

Make sure you get the AUTHENTIC beast brand launcher. It comes with two portable fill bottles, balloons and target. There is a off-brand, replica launcher being sold as a beast that is NOT a beast. It is still a great launcher, but is not the one pictured in the ad. The Beast is a very big and well built launcher. The pouch has reinforcements to keep the pouch from bunching up which is a nice touch. The take anywhere bottle filler is also very nice... better than dragging around the garden hose. The AUTHENTIC beast is MANUFACTURER rated and NOT SELLER RATED when it comes to distance. ASK YOUR SELLER which one you will receive before buying.

They call this thing the Beast for a reason. This thing is HUGE! The tubing is super thick and the balloon pouch is really big. There are plastic tubes in the pouch that prevent the pouch from collapsing on the balloon and making it explode in your face. 300 yards? I don't know about that though. Maybe if you tie the handles to poles and have a bodybuilder pull it back for you. But it does go pretty far and pretty fast too. It comes in a neat package with a ton of balloons and quick-fill bottles and instructions. If you're gonna spend money on a waterballoon launcher, you might as well get this one because it's probably the best one out there and it's not a whole lot more expensive than some other, crappier ones.

The "Beast" is great. If you have three strong people working it, 300 yards is no joke. The balloons that come with it hold together in flight very well. It also is great launching rolled up tee-shirts at events.
