  There's not much to review with a thing like this. It does what it's supposed to do: it'll charge your battery. Very exciting. Amazon does indeed have one of the best prices for this thing, but I gotta admit that paying more than 30 bucks for a dinky piece of plastic is lame no matter what way you slice it. I gave it 4 stars simply because it works and effectively replaces the one that comes with your camera when you lose it and are sick of tearing apart your house looking for it. And Amazon's service was speedy as always.

  Bought an off-brand battery charger first, and I've discovered that the battery gets a much longer charge from the Canon charger.

  This is the same charger that is packaged with the SD400 camera. It is small compact and easy to travel with. Perhaps if it was larger, I would not have needed to purchase a second one! None the less it works well and like the camera is small enough to take anywhere.

  Nothing much to say...this baby does the trick! It charges up that Canon battery super-fast, is versatile and very portable. Don't settle for crappy aftermarket ones that may or may NOT work, or worse, will screw up your battery. Get the real deal.

  I compared Canon's OEM battery charger to several 3rd Party options available and found that Canon's OEM charger was the best. Every 3rd Party charger I examined (several) seemed overly large and clunky in comparison. the CB-2LV is very close to the dimensions of the SD450 camera I need it for. This enables me to carry both the charger and the camera together in a small pouch. (I discovered long ago that the easier it is carry the camera and the charger around together, the more likely it is that I'll have it when I want to snap a photo.)
  
  The only drawback preventing me from giving the CB-2LV a 5 star rating is the price. In one sense they're obviously not charging *too much*, as evidenced by the mere fact that I bought it. But on the other hand, if it were cheaper, I might have bought two!

  I tried to order this item in January. It is now March and despite the fact that the item says "usually ships in 24 hours" it still has not shipped. If you need this battery charger I suggest buying it elsewhere. I've been in touch with Amazon Custom Service to no avail. I'll post again if anything changes.

  I travel alot and once in a while I leave the charger in the hotel room, or forget it at home. I bought an extra one to keep in my suitcase. When charging at the hotel, I keep the camera near the charger so I remember to grab the charger when I pack. This charger is so small it's easy to lose it - funny how it's almost exactly the same size as the camera itself.

  I was at a loss when my digital camera battery charger went missing after my vacation. Camera isn't any good without a charger. On line I searched and priced new Canon chargers and found the best deal at Amazon. There are universals that claim to be compatible BUT as true with most things, nothing compares to the original.   I lost my digicam charger and ordered a replacement from Amazon. It does what it says and performs very well... just one thing, I wish that price is not that high for just a basic charger, but I would go for OEM on any day rather than knocked-off chargers.

  This order was a bit confusing. I tried repeatedly to contact via email the company shipping this item but they were very slow in responding to my inquiry. Turns out the shipment had already arrived but one of my family members had failed to let me know it had come and where they had put it. So, while it turned out there was NO problem with the shipping, or the product, the company was slow to respond to my emails when I THOUGHT it had not been shipped. Eventually after I had sent 4 separate email inquiries I did hear from them and they said it had been shipped and I should have received it. That is when I started questioning all 6 family members about deliveries. I wrote the company and apologized letting them know I had received it but never heard back from them again.

  I was charged for this product and provided a tracking number that says it was delivered but I never received it. The company that shipped the product said they would "Open an investigation" and let me know within 7 days what they found out. It has been almost a month and I have heard nothing.
