Sennheiser "Refurbs" *not* a bargain By AC190XU4J2RVX on 2006-01-10
We ordered two sets. One arrived with a corroded battery
inside - took us awhile to figure out why it wasn't charging...
fortunately, they had packed a good battery in with the
accessories, so we were able to get this one working. Why
the folks who "refurbished" it didn't take out the bad component
is a mystery.
The second unit not only was missing some components in the
base (which meant there was nothing for the connecting cables
to attach to,) but whoever had assembled the headphone unit
had done it incorrectly.
I'd say two bad refurbs out of two isn't a very good record.
Sennheiser makes good stuff - but stick to the new ones
unless you want a real science project.
Simply a bad idea By A35JXXGOTV4RRG on 2005-01-10
I got the RS-45 brand new 2 years ago, only used it for less than 5 hours. it have been collecting dust in the basement most of the time. The quality of the sound is pretty bad. it is flat, like AM radio. you can not move much, otherwise the transmission will be interrpted for about half a send. it is probably OK for watch TV. I was going to use it for music at work since I moved alot during the day, and I want to be wire-free, what a bad idea, I should simply get a MP3 player like others.
Why the bad remarks? By A3HDSTJQMDKSS0 on 2005-04-10
Yes, plugged in headphones sound better, but these aren't plugged in. My phone plugged into my wall at home is more reliable than my cell phone - apples and oranges people.
Considering they're wireless and RF, they pretty good, better than any other for the price [refurbished]. I use mine just for gaming and watching TV/movies on my computer. I find the sound range is fine and I can walk around my single floor house with minimal interference.
You Can Get More By A3QRQ5I3P6FDM4 on 2005-01-18
This headphones are'nt so much as i expected, the sound compared with wired headphones is considerable below quality; you won't get that cool bass and treeble combination found in normal headphones of same price, and the volume it's very low even at it's full capacity.
But is great be free from the care needed to have with wired headphones.I use'em almost all day and most headphones i've had are now broken. So wireless is a great choice but look at another higher headphones models.
Weak design leads to breaking By A2AF3VW4FVLPTN on 2006-05-16
I've used two sets of headphones and both have broken after a few months at the pivots at the ends of the circular headpiece.
I guess that if headphones look flimsy, then they really are...
Also, the reception was very intermittant on any of the three channels. If my head was in one position too long, the sound would drift to static. Just twisting my head would clear it again for a few minutes. Unfortunately, continuously moving my head led to drifting even more frequently. Arrgghhh!
- Doesn't work
     By A2C7AZJVR8EQMV on 2006-04-10
Mine doesn't work. Don't charge (5 full days charging so far and nothing...). Probably the battery doesn't work anymore. As another reviewer said: it's a science project.
- KIRAN RAI....
     By A2D1UX9G21MVI1 on 2006-08-17
So far so good.. My headphone is doing it's duty fairly well.
Few things that I would have liked better was the headset to be fitting better and have a longer reception range without distortion. The quality of the voice within proper range is good for the price that I paid.
One thing to regret was the absense of the manual book for it's usage. Took me some time to figure out the settings. The Shiping was done on time.
- Not at all Good

- Sound good,, but buy them cheap
     By AS6LXYV9ORLCI on 2006-11-03
Sennheiser is one of the better known names in headphones. Their sound quality is excellent. I thought that their wireless headphones would be excellent as well. They were, for about 6 months. Then they just stopped working. No clues to the problem. Possibly the battery?
