• Good for Apple products, maybe bad for something else.

  I bought iKlear Appla Polish Kit from Apple Store for my Powerbook. It works really well. All smudges and stains are gone. My Powerbook shines as if it was brand new every time I use it. HOWEVER, this very same polish kit SCRATCHES my brand new Samsung 712n flat-panel display. I can see scratches right after I use this polish kit. I guess Apple's LCD & Samsung's are different. However, be careful before trying this product with unlisted equipment. Would have been 5 stars if there's some sort of warning on the manual.

• A way to fix messy Apple screens

  When I first got an iBook, I used regular Endust for Electronics on the screen (the spray, not the duster). Using my trusty old computer cleaning rag, I went over it like I did on CRT monitors for years. However, it left some nasty smear marks. Using kleenexes on the smears helped to some degree, but I just had to wait for them to go away on their own.
  
  A few years later I got the iKlear kit with my then-new iMac, also an LCD display. Now I am able to keep the iMac and iBook screens clean. This stuff takes time to use, and it's not cheap, but definitely worth it.
  
  The reviewer below me mentioned that Samsung monitors don't agree with this. Note that this is advertised as "Apple Polish" and is probably only good on Apple displays. After reading his review I don't feel like trying it on an IBM branded LCD...but it sure is good on Macs.

  I use this to clean my Dell 24 inch LCD monitor, It works great. Always make sure To dust off your monitor befor cleaning it.

  This is the best I've used for 2 LCD monitors and a glossy plasma.
  
  I have a feeling if some of the other reviewers read the directions, they would know what to do for the streaks. And as your eye doctor or Oakley will tell you, NEVER use paper products to clean treated surfaces (i.e. ALL LCD displays). Just follow the directions, and you'll be amazed at how well this stuff really works.

  This product works great for my ibook G4 screen and also for cleaning off most smudges on the case, although it seems like I'm constantly getting new smudges on the screen. Don't expect it to get off the spots that build up on keyboard over time, though. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works well for that ... but only if you make sure to thoroughly squeeze the water out before use on your computer. Otherwise it may get in and ruin your keyboard.

  Agree with the other reviewers; this product works very well, but use as directed or you'll be left with streaks. Do its as directed and the screen (and case) will look clear and clean; also works nicely on iPod, cell phone and HDTV.

• Great Polish!

  I purchased this at an Apple Store shortly after getting my Macbook Pro. It works fantastic! Using the polish got rid of everything on the LCD screen and it looks like new! Just be sure to only clean it when the LCD hasn't been used in a while (as it says on the bottle) because if the screen is warm, it will evaporate the polish too quickly and will leave streaks.

  Others have complained about this leaving streaks on their Apple screens.
  
  The instructions recommend that you buff thoroughly after you spray, because wiping it down a few times will streak and leave a haze. I get the best results when I lean my open MacBook backwards so that it rests on the light-up Apple icon with the power off. When the screen is black and you tilt it into the light, you can tell if you've wiped it all away.
  
  It's also great on iPods and really works well on glossy screen cell phones.
  
  The company that sends this out through Amazon is the best part--they are amazingly prompt in their delivery. It was fast enough that I was surprised.

  This product works great. I didn't have to use very much of the spray to clean my 23 inch display with a matte screen, which was a mess with fingerprints and other unknown gunk. I also used it on my laptop with a glossy screen, and it worked beautifully on that too.

  I have a white MacBook. I followed the directions to a T and my MacBook screen looks brand new again. There are still a few "dirty looking" spots on my white case though.

  It cleans the screen perfectly. The only thing is that I was told it would also clean the surface of the computer but I found it didn't do it that well.

  This product is just what the doctor ordered. It takes a little while to clean the whole screen throughly but in the end have a shiny glossy screen that looks just like new is worth it. I travel a lot with business and having my MBpro sit in the office accumulating dust is not good for the computer...so I would suggest purchasing the travel packets as well--they work great on the screen and excellent on the keyboard...and they will make it through security in your briefcase.

• Pretty Good

  I was looking at a few different products to clean the screen on my mac and on my other computers monitor and so I figured why not go with something designed to help out a mac. As soon as I got this, I used it on my mac, not only on the screen but on body of the laptop as well. It cleans beautifully and if you follow the directions, there are no streaks. It cleaned up my other monitor good as new too. I'm very pleased with this product. It comes with two different clothes so you can use either one. The little packets are nice as well to take with you when you travel. I would definitely recommend this item if your looking for a good solution to cleaning your screen. It should also last a good bit as well so the price (which is not that bad) is worth the investment.

  The product works well. I would say the price seems a little excessive, but everything seems that way these days. I received the product faster than I expected. All in all, there is not a better product out there than iKlear to use for cleaning Apple products like computers, ipods and iphones. I use it for my MacBook Pro and it keeps my matte screen looking beautiful as it collects dust easily. I think Apple even sells it on their website at a higher cost. This is the cleaner to have for all Apple products.

  This works as advertised. I used it on a MacBook and it cleaned off the dust and got rid of stains. It also lightened the (white) laptop's complexion, which was an unexpected bonus.
