Well... it's better than nothing By AFPH2BZGNNJ79 on 2005-04-26
I read it from somewhere that this screen protector is the best one out there... and it may or it may not be depends on how you apply it.
First of all, I need to let you know that
YOUR PSP SCREEN IS EXTREMEMLY, EXTREMELY VULNERABLE TO ANY KIND OF SCRATCH
Really, you will get scratches here and there no matter how hard you try if you don't have any screen protector; TRUST ME ON THIS (even the soft clothes, which comes with the PSP, makes scratches if you use wrong side of it)
I had bunch of bubbles first time I applied it; if you are getting bubbles, then it means you need to use more caution. Just having one particle of dust either on the screen or the protector means having a bubble. So my suggestion is..
1. I would make sure to get rid of all the dusts, marks, whatever on the PSP screen and also have your screen protector free from dust as much as possible. THIS IS VERY CRUCIAL FOR HAVING A CLEAN, BUBBLE-FREE SCREEN
2. Then I would peel off the screen protector just barely enough to apply on one end of the screen (make sure you measure the screen protector to the PSP screen; it barely covers the screen and make sure you apply it right first time) then just slide it over with the plastic slider they provide (by the way, the plastic slider they provide isn't wide enough to completely pushout the bubbles, and it also creates scratches on the protector as well.. come'on, THINK!!!) My recommendation is that I would use a ruler to do this instead of the crappy plastic stuff
You know, one MAJOR DOWNSIDE of this product is that you get ONLY ONE TRY; that's it. If you are getting even one bubble or whatever on your first try, it means that is the end of it; don't try to peel it off again to get rid of dust - it will only creates more bubble and ruin your screen protector.
I guess good thing about it is that it's better than nothing; really, your PSP screen is soooooo vulnerable...hard to believe.. and this product, if applied with utmost concentration and care with some luck, looks good because it only covers the screen barely and looks good on your PSP.
Well, I don't know... it is definitely your call... but remember two things; first of all, you NEED TO PROTECT your PSP's screen, and second of all, you get ONLY ONE TRY with this product.
Good Luck.
Great product, easy to apply By A2C2DO7Q93T2E3 on 2005-05-10
I don't understand why people are having so many problems with these screen protectors. I bought them followed the instructions and used the tool provided to get rid of air bubbles and I got a perfect seal on my PSP screen, no air bubbles, no dust particles. Not only does it protect the screen but it really helps against glare, the PSP screen finish is almost like a mirror, reflects everything, but with this on it is much easier to see the screen in all kinds of different lights. Highly recommended.
Not the solution...unless you love air bubbles By A3JIJJQHISJYIF on 2005-04-12
Before you buy this, ask yourself if you mind air bubbles all over your PSP screen. I, like you, didn't pay $250 to look at air bubbles. It comes with this squeegy thing to push out the air bubbles, but no matter how hard I tried or re-did it there were still air bubbles. I just took it off after one day because I could stand to see my PSP that way. Get a glass magnet and cut it down, it will probably work better than this did.
bad screen By A306R00I7CYO7U on 2005-04-26
do not get this item, i picked it up because i had a discount at my store. I do recommend getting a screen film but not this one. it is IMPOSSIBLE to put it on without having bubbles all over your screen and just trying to put it on makes the material all scratched up so unless u want ur screen to look scratched up and full of bubbles, don't purchase this accessory. it's sad that intec's gonna make money of these screen protectors that function so horribly
Garbage; try the Pelican offering instead...and with hesitation By A2JSKM60VTCNI on 2007-01-28
Screen protectors are near must-have accessories for the PSP's scratch-easy screen. The Intec offering, however, I would avoid like the plague. The Pelican version -- while not perfect -- is a much smarter purchase at literally the same price as Intec's.
I purchased both simultaneously to compare. Within seconds of removing the Intec product from it's overpackaging produced a literal clear winner: Pelican.
Intec's screen protector is neither clear nor glare free. Hold both side-by-side and the comparisons are obvious. The polish cloth provided with the Intec version is rough...and might even scratch a screen if used with too much vigor. Their plastic squeegee, however, surpasses Pelican's cardboard nonsense. ((Although a simple credit card (minus sharp edges) can suffice for removing air bubbles.))
Pelican's version is twice the price for good reason...you receive twice the screen protectors. Note, however, it took 4 attempts with the Pelican offering (that's $20 total) to install one semi-lint free. These are some frustrating products and then some.
In sum: if you're willing to go down this road, take the Pelican path. Shame on you Intec for selling a hazy sticker that pretends to protect LCD screens.
- Only comes with one film
     By AEMO460KOXCXC on 2005-03-31
This is a semi-rigid film that is somewhat unforgiving if you don't line it up the first time. I prefer the "screen magnet" type films (as opposed to this adhesive type) which allow you to reposition or clean up if dust gets trapped inside.
Also, the package comes with one screen, not two like the description (at the time of this review) states.
- What a Mistake
     By A1TLYU60F6IMQQ on 2005-04-14
First off it doesn't look good at all. Air bubbles are the biggest problem. First one I bought had no adhesive on it and therefore made it totally useless. Second one I tried scratched my screen to hell trying to place it and get out air bubbles. Spend a little more and you will be happy with what you get! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IT IS TERRIBLE! I suggest something that can be taken off and reapplied with no problem.
- Screen Protector for PSP Failed
     By AGIVL0VGU11U1 on 2007-01-25
The Intec PSP Screen protector would probably be ok if there were 2 screens included. You have to be wxtremely careful putting the screen protector on, if not AIR BUBBLES!! Make sure the PSP Screen is clean and careful put the protector on. If you peal it off and try again, it just doesn't work to well.

Easy for mom to put on hard for the kid. left air bubble though
- Does NOT worth it...
     By A15CEC7NZ07YQZ on 2007-12-16
I tried to apply the screen protector in every way possible to my psp... After 10 minutes and two screens in the trash I kind of managed to do it properly. All my electronic devices have screen protectors and I have to say, this is THE WORST OF THEM ALL...
Don't buy it, the instruction sticker is impossible to remove without thinner or alcohol...
Huge deception....
- Completely worthless, DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!
     By A3FOUTGYV8E2BG on 2007-12-31
First off the product was advertised as coming with two protectors, and there was only one. Second, air bubbles are a big problem with this product. I was very careful and had a clean environment to adhere this protector and there was still a lot of air bubbles. If you don't get it perfect the first time you might as well forget it. The worst $4.99 I ever spent.
- Dissapointed
     By AAT4VQQ5YPB3N on 2008-02-07
The product features indicates that this item comes with 2 screen protectors. The one I received only had 1 protector screen which means if you mess up on the application you dont have a back up. Which is exactly what happened in our case. We will be contacting the manufacturerer's customer service and/or returning this product. Definitely not worth the price.

This is the worst psp screen protector you can get. I put the protector on, and it resulted in hairs and dust under the cover even after using the cloth it came with. I then took the piece of junk off, now looking at the permanent goo it left on the screen. I DO NOT recommend this protect at all, unless you want to leave permanent junk on your psp and/or see bubbles and/or dust.
Junky product. I advise you do NOT buy it. Waste of money.
- Great Item, But Be Careful!!
     By A27TLNJI53VCM5 on 2007-01-27
This thing is great. I had to get a replacement because the first one was dirty upon arrival, but the second one went on smoothly. Just be careful and follow the instructions exactly. USE THE CLEANING PAD AND THE SQUEEGEE!!
- The screen protector costs 4.99, the air bubbles are free...
     By ANZUZTIBMGK4S on 2007-09-24
I bought one of these to protect the screen of my new PSP 2000, but it was a HUGE waste of money! Putting it on the screen was easy enough, but I couldn't get the air bubbles out from beneath it, and removing it from the screen wasn't so easy...
I highly recommend buying Hori brand screen protectors for the PSP, they're of much higher quality, or so I've heard...
As for these, avoid them...
Sure, they practically scream at you from store shelves, "Look at me!" "I'm cheaper than the other brands, and I protect your screen!"
No, inocent consumer, run away! It's a trick, he's... YAAAAAARGH!!!
- You need this!
     By A5H7XUZTGHRUK on 2005-03-25
If you own a PSP you must get one of these. The screens are very fragile and are prone to getting smudged and scratced, and well if it gets scratched your in trouble.
- Great product, hard to put on.
     By A2YKJ3J49H6CCO on 2006-07-02
If you have a PSP and didn't buy this on day one. Then just go get one.
Very helpfull and not big and clunky like most protectors.
Woul never know it was there.
It is hard to put on and you get only one chance.
- works....
     By A2K4JROY0CET82 on 2006-11-02
it works the way it needs to....and it is supposed to protect ur sceen so i guess that is what it does....:)
- If you get air bubbles, you put it on wrong
     By A2UVPDFQEB8Z9R on 2006-12-07
Someone should definitely invent a way to permanently protect a PSP screen; however, I have used these protectors and they work fine....AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE PUTTING THEM ON. If there is dust on the screen before you apply it, it will create an air bubble where the dust particle is and if you don't take great care putting it on, an air bubble will be present (just like when you apply a bumper sticker or window sticker to your car). I messed up the first time I tried this and it sucked to play it with air bubbles but, when I applied it the second time and took great care doing it, it looks fine, with no air bubbles AND I have been using the same one for about 8 or 9 months. Once it is applied correctly (with no air bubbles), I see no reason why I should ever have to change it out. I would recommend these to anyone who has a PSP. I would cry for days if my PSP screen got scratched.
- WORKS IF YOU PUT IT ON RIGHT
     By A36DA6CLNEEJRU on 2007-01-09
GOT THIS FOR MY MAN WHO IS NO BRAIN SURGEON BUT HAS COMMON SENSE AND HE HAD NO TROUBLE GETTING IT ON. ANYONE THAT CAN'T IS JUST NOT TRYING OR BRAIN DEAD!!!
