MTV - Viva La Bam - The Complete 2nd and 3rd Seasonsx$11.96
    (45 reviews)
Best Price: $24.99 $11.96
The poster boy for how not to treat your parents is back with two more seasons of pranks, stunts and ridiculous displays of family love. In other words, we’re not sure how they can still love him. With his entourage of agitators, Bam puts April, Phil and Don Vito through even more hell as they set out to do nothing but make themselves, and all of us, laugh our asses off. From hosting a Slayer concert in his backyard to putting Phil and Don Vito through a Fatboy Face-off, turning the driveway into a skate park and setting sail to a deserted island, Bam and his boys do whatever they want.

Worth owning on DVD By A2APHL0C8OZWJW on 2005-03-03
Viva La Bam is a great show that may seem silly at first but eventually grows on you. If you want to know what the show is about imagine this, MTV wants to give you money to watch you and your friends do things that you could only imagine doing. These guys do some of the goofiest things and by the end of every episode you appreciate the fun because you can see yourself doing the same things they are if only given the chance. It sure beats the 40 hour work week where you know what you're going to be doing, and it definately beats other "reality" shows because there are no roses and no interships (well, maybe Vito is an intern!) but everyone has fun and gets silly and you laugh until your stomache hurts!
Awesome Show By A1OUDXTRBW66KZ on 2005-02-12
Viva La Bam is a show that is basically Bam and his friends goofing off. It may not sound cool, but its the most awesome show ever. I recently purchased the first season and laughed till my stomach hurt. Plus, this is season 2 AND 3. Double the laughs, double the Bam. Although they block out most of the cursing, they still dont block out all of it, so i would not recommend it for kids with extremely protective parents. But if you dont have protective parents (Or you're over 13) You'll love this show. Bam and his buds are funny, mischievious, and people that you grow to love. If you like comedy, you'll absolutely LOVE (And I mean it) Viva La Bam.
Absolute JUNK. By A1B9ISLYYCHIVE on 2005-12-17
Before I start on this idiot-magnet, let me get one thing straight - Jackass was a GOOD TV show. For all it's gross-out moments, there were moments of genuine class and originality.
And I guess I know where they came from. On the one hand, we have Johnny Knoxville, who has moved on from Jackass to become a genuine star in Hollywood, going from mainstream success (Dukes of Hazzard) to critical acclaim (Grand Theft Parsons) in just a couple of years. A genuine talent, and someone to watch in the future.
Then we have Bam Margera, who took his "is cruel to his parents" thing from Jackass and made an entire show out of it. And it quite simply the most crass, unfunny and utterly, utterly FAKE rubbish on television.
It's maybe a pity Bam didn't have parents who were, I dunno, better actors than they are, because their "outraged" responses to his ha-ha-larious stunts wouldn't seem out of place at a Sunday school play. The mother is the worst offender, and while Bam's stupid tagalong friends laugh in all the right places, there is a genuine cruel streak and nasty side to Bam that makes the whole program have a very bitter after-taste. I'd like to see what would happen if one of the yahoo's DIDN'T laugh or go along with everything.
Of course, this show isn't aimed at the likes of The Curmudgeon. It's aimed at the big-shorted dumbass kids who think Avril Lavigne RAWWWWKS and can't see another phony being stuffed down their easily pleased, "Hey Kids, This Is COOL" MTV propoganda-fed throats.
A loathsome, spoilt man child abusing his stupid mother and morbidly obese father? You wonder why it doesn't work. Then you remember it's one-trick pony Bam Margera, a guy pushing 30 who still tries to act like he's 14. And that his mother and father are in on every single second of it. Another pitiful MTV product that you should steer well clear of.

Dont Expect a lot. By A10WCRZ81404Y7 on 2005-04-19
I have been following these dudes since CKY Landspeed. and ive grown up watching the CKY series, and the Jackass series. In this Jackass spinoff, i must say they did a fantastic job. Don Vito is pure hilairty. I purchased season 1, and was really happy with what i bought. purchasing this set, i was expecting the same thing. but was let down.
The packagin is great, so no problems with that. it looks great. there are 3 DVD's. Season 2, 3 and Bonus Disc. Once you insert a DVD youll be shown a few previews, and then comes a generic title screen with the options Play All, and Episodes. Bam dosnt introduce us on these DVDs this time. Episode 6, season 2 is censored for some reason. theres not as much bonus stuff you would expect from 2 seasons. and now, the biggest dissapointment of all....NO COMMENTARY! WHY!?!?!?! commentary and bonus stuff was the only reaosn to buy this in my opinion. its as tho your in the same romm as them, watching the show. theyre comments are hilarious, and they answer so many questions while giving out a ton of interesting facts.
Dispite the abscence of commentary, and more bonus footage, this is a decent release. it seems as though this DVD set was rushed. But if all you want is the episodes, and a few bonus clips, then its perfect for you.
oh and by the way, Compton Ass Terry's music was left out again due to legal issues.
Viva La Bam Rules By A1V6YJJYZL3JZJ on 2005-09-12
This was such a great DVD. I recently purchased and watched season one on DVD and it had commentary on it. I would have given seasons 2 and 3 five stars if it would have had commentary. I love Viva La Bam and recommend this to anyone however I enjoyed season 1 better.
- Two Times the Fun of the First
     By A29Y34ALWJUGB5 on 2006-01-19
In the second volume of the Viva La Bam DVDs, we are treated to not one but two seasons of the series, sixteen complete episodes of hilarity. Bam, like always, is the goofball in charge of the bunch of friends he calls the CKY crew, and together they torture Bam's parents, Phil and April, as well as his uncle Don Vito, a blob of a man who just doesn't know how to pronounce words when angry.
Here's a list of the top four episodes in each series:
Season 2:
Episode 1: Castle Bam: After getting kicked out of his house in the last season, Bam, family, and friends movie into a new place.
Episode 4: Mardi Gras Part 1: The start of Bam's adventure to Mardi Gras begins with abandoning Dunn at home.
Episode 5: Mardi Gras Part 2: The conclusion of Bam's journey to Mardi Gras, where he finds Ryan Dunn waiting for him.
Episode 6: Community Disservice: Bam challenges April to do five good things, which he promises to do himself: his way, of course.
Season 3:
Episode 5: Mutiny on the Bam: Bam and his wary parents go on a cruise, where Vito is the brunt of the jokes.
Episode 6: Angry Ape: April is no longer allowed to complain, at least for 24 hours, but can she do it with Bam as her son?
Episode 7: Mall of Bam: Bam and family lock themselves inside the Mall of America while Vito goes crazy in an attempt to kill Bam.
Episode 8: Bamiature Golf: After destroying Vito's car again, Bam builds a miniature golf course and challenges Vito to a game.
Like in the first volume, though, the best of what this collection contains is in the special features disc. With the deleted scenes and Random-A** moments, all of the hilarity of the episodes are bottled into a bunch of quick scenes. What's found here is better than what can be found in the series.
Viva La Bam continues to get better, especially with Vito as the new target of Bam. Now, with three seasons under his belt, Bam's show has already matched Jackass's success and still continues. This a great series guaranteed to bring about laughs.

I just recently purchased the Viva La Bam season 1 DVD and spent an entire day watching the commentary on every show. I never even bothered to watch the actual shows because I had seen them so many times before. I laughed so hard that I got online right away to buy season 2 and 3. You can imagine my shock and dismay to see that there was no commentary on either season!!! I must say the bonus material was great of course but once it was over I was left wanting more. I love these guys and would probably purchase anything they were in but now that I've watched the bonus features on this DVD it will probably sit on my shelf and collect dust.
- More insanity and more laughs,
     By A338Q4Y8U0QRXW on 2005-07-21
What can you say? Bam and his crew go all out this season. At the end of last season they had been kicked out of the township, which resulted in the creation of Castle Bam in season 2. They remade Don Vito and Phil into Rockstars, had a prank war with Johnny Knoxville, and built a tree top casio on arbour day. All in all the stunts got bigger and more crazy.
This box set comes with three discs, one for each of the seasons, plus one of extras. The extras are pretty good, including "random ass moments" and missing scenes.
I was disapointed that some basic extras were missing. There was no subtitle selections, and also the brillant cast commentary that had me laughing so hard in the season one release was missing.
All in all though it is a great compilation for any fan, or newbie to VLB, and is well worth the cost.
- Viva El Vito!
     By A2T7TZBOTP68C7 on 2005-09-13
He's brash, he's belligerent, he's a bully: he's Bam. Bam Margera, the twenty-four year-old skateboarding pro, returns in this long-running box set containing the full second and third seasons of his MTV show Viva La Bam, plus a DVD full of extras.
Bam's antics and pranks range from fall-on-the-floor funny to infantile. Depending on your maturity level, you may find some episodes too vulgar or cruel to be funny, such as when Vito's car is trashed for the fifth time, or when the Bamsters fill Vito's prize he won with manure. You will have to suffer through some singularly unfunny moments, but there is much hilarity to be enjoyed.
The best episodes are Dating Don Vito, Mutiny on the Bam, Fat Boy Face-Off, Castle Bam, Fort Knoxville, and Mardi Gras, Parts I & II. Johnny Knoxville is a breath of fresh air, as he is the only one to stand up to Bam and give him back what he deserves. Go, Knoxville!
There would be no Bam show without Vito. Viewers are treated to plently of the portly uncle's "Vito-isms" in this box set. There is also plenty of screaming Ape, and Phil, who has the patience and Zen of Buddha.
YOH!

I'm a huge Bam Margera fan, so of course, I had to go out and buy this dvd. This show is my favorite show of all time. It never gets old to me. When you buy this, you get to see Vito losing his mind constantly, Rake making an idiot out of himself, and Bam laughing at them the whole time. This show proves that Bam Margera does "whatever the f*ck he wants!"

- Hooray for Don Vito, Phil, and April for bringing the real laughs!
     By A24OFOIWNQI4DG on 2006-03-19
Well, Bam is at it again. He is getting really annoying this time, and the only thing saving his show and making it worthwhile is Phil, April, and especially, Don Vito! Without these three, the show whould be a definite flop! But, with these three, the show becomes entertaining, and often absolutely hilarious, especially when Don Vito is in a scene. Bam appears stuck up and fake, and annoyingly, barely allows his friends to have much screen time! In one of the best episodes of this set, Johnny Knoxville really dishes it out to Bam, and really puts him in his place, which is nice to see. The episode where Bam pits Don Vito and Phil against eachother is great and absolutely hilarious.
I say, buy this set for the the great laughs that are offered up by everyone except Bam. Don't expect much from him in this set.
Truly, Wildboyz and Jackass are much better series, but Viva La Bam still has something unique and funny to offer!
THE DVD: No commetary on this disc, which is a bummer, considering the first season had a commentay track that really added to the list of reasons to purchase the dvds. The quality is great and the bonus disc is extra fun.
- BAM is not The S::T but dicamillo is
     By A2HBII1FGHBJZI on 2005-03-14
the show is funny but the only prolbem is dicamillo is funny than Bam Ryan Dunn and Don Vito. Plus i was watching bam before Viva La Bam. I The show is okay But CKYs are better and HARRAGD is funny.
- my dvd is the same paul...............
     By A2AQE1932D3QUC on 2005-04-18
to answer Pauls question "why in the world would only some of the episodes be uncensered" the reason being is that the dvds was rushed out, they wheren't supposed to come out until April 25, 2005 ..this caused them to be careless and not worrie about the censors ..the same thing happened to the first season dvd.
please do not be discourged about this review , the dvd still rocks.

Brandon Margera, better known to all of us as "Bam", is one guy that could be considered the ultimate problem child, especially to his parents Phil and April Margera and his uncle Don Vito. When MTV granted Bam virtual carte blanche to do anything he so desired to annoy, tick off and otherwise drive his parents up the wall and back down it again the end result was "Viva La Bam".
So how would our dear young Mr. Margera and his crazy band of friends (Ryan Dunn, Chris Raab aka "Raab Himself", Brandon DiCamillo and Rake Yohn)top the craziness and insanity caused in the first season of VLB? The answer comes in Viva La Bam: The Complete 2nd and 3rd Seasons, the second volume in the VLB series on DVD.
The first 2 discs, which contains all 8 episodes of the 2nd season (Disc 1) and all 8 of the 3rd season (Disc 2), begins essentially where season 1 ended: all of the antics of Bam and crew have forced the township to order Bam to move out of the area ASAP. Bam goes on a house hunt and finds the perfect house to move into.
However, when Bam and company move in (or at least begin the attempt to), Bam's brother Jess from the band CKY shows up and demands that Bam and crew hed to Amsterdam for a CKY concert. Bam agrees and leaves Phil and April in charge of the moving in process. But when Bam returns he hates what Ape does to the house and turns it into Castle Bam (simply put: his house his rules).
Most of the events in the entire 2nd and 3rd seasons takes place in and around the new Margera house, ranging from Bam finding a Civil War cannonball on the grounds of his house to building a (literal) treetop casino, a classic episode that finds Johnny Knoxville paying a visit that suddenly turns into an all-out prank war, Bam inviting rock band Slayer to perform in his backyard (and the entire town of West Chester) to check it out), and more.
The funnest events send everyone out of the state in some episodes, including Bam and the gang flying to Cali to get some serious celebrity swag for a new snakerun driveway that includes a visit to the Playboy Mansion, a 2-part episode that has Bam, Phil, April, Vito, the entire crew (save for Ryan Dunn) and several popular skaters going on a trip to Mardi Gras in New Orleans that turns from a 20 hour trip to one that goes for nearly 3 DAYS and turns into a hilarious prank war as well, which also turns into a sprint race between Dunn and everyone else to get there first, and a cruise that goes seriously askew when Don Vito is made the captain of the ship and ends with of all things a Blackhawk helicopter!
The 3rd disc contains bonus features similar to what the 2nd disc of VLB Season 1 did: bonus scenes, deleted stuff and music videos. The only thing that costs VLB Seasons 2 & 3 a star is the fact that the gang didn't add commentary for the episodes like they did last time. That would probably given the set a full 5, but it is only a partial loss.
So if you ever wish you could do, in the immortal words of Bam, "whatever the ... I want", then Viva La Bam: The Complete 2nd and 3rd Seasons is your wish being granted...
- Not great, but not bad either.....
     By A2MJTPFHCMUBQO on 2006-01-21
Very infantile humor, yes. Personally, I think jackass was funnier, but then again, any clear thinking person can realize that a lot of this is staged. I would beware of some of these reviews, as they look like they were written by 11 yr. old kids, who of course have oodles of time on their hands. The thing most interesting about it, it poses the question of, if you had a lot of time and money on your hands and your friends were hanging out all of the time, what would you do? My favorite part was the miniature golf course, too bad they did not show more of this. HIM & Turbonegro sound like 80's glam rock with some goth thrown in, Bam should understand his strength as a jackass/skateboarder, and stay away from awful bands like these.
- Nothing Better
     By A2QSCSSUQWR7VA on 2005-03-14
The 2nd and 3rd seasons are defintly more fake than the first. No doubt about that. But so is everything else on tv. These seasons are are some of the most entertaining. The onlt thing I wish they would add is some more skating. Any fans of the first season, Jackass, Wild Boyz and Team sanchez will love this DVD.
- Is anyone else's dvd like this....
     By A35IUWKDN59Z5S on 2005-04-13
For the first disc, the first 5 episodes are uncensored, but episode 6 isn't. Why in the world would some of the episodes be uncensored and some be not uncensored? Any answers?
- Very Funny
     By A1GNFCYQQRMJYQ on 2005-04-17
First off I want to say that I love the show, and the DVD is great. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no commentary like on the season 1 dvd. But there are alot more deleted scenes than season 1, so that pretty much makes up for it. There are 2 easter eggs, which are pretty much extra deleted scenes, including a very funny argument between Ryan and Vito... so look for that.
- Very nice set
     By A2PBQW6YGX32TN on 2005-06-29
To answer "alex alexes" question basically only front nudity
is censered. swears r clear as day, and you see don vitos a$$. so if your mom doesnt like that your screwed.
Anyway, i just recived my copy of viva la bam seasons 2 and 3, 2 days ago and i was very plzed with wut i got. all though there is no commentary like on the first season i belive the shear halarity makes up for that and the price I mean this pack cost 30 dollars for 2 season and season one is 22 for 1 season but season one does have more bounus metarial.
These two seasons of viva la bam you get a bilive r funnier then the first season and my favorite is season 3 becuase theres an episode with johnny knoxville and im a big fane of jackass jack ass.
within these two season you get to see things like a crab garb on to rakes "ummm.. you know", and see dunns saran rap wake up. you also get to see bams "mum mum" go insane on a camra man after shes shes vitos tatto of bruce springscen on his ass. i was laughing so hard i started to chough. oh and you get to see bam and friends destroy i think four of vittos cars.
Bonus thing,
there r deleted seances and some r vrey funny i think the makers of viva la bam should put those back into the show and have less commercials
all in all this is a very good box set it has three dsics 2 for the seasons and one for the bonus thing. BUY THIS NOWWWW!!
- SICK!
