  This dress is so cute! The material is nice and its form fitting. It fits just like a tank top. Im 5'3 and it ends about two inches about my knee. I think it would be too short for a taller girl though depending on how short you like your dresses. But Im going to get at least one other color of this dress.

  I found the Andrew Christian Racerback Dress to be just what I wanted. The color is perfect and very versatile; and, I have already worn it with just everything I own. And, it was the fourth one I purchased. I will continue to purchase Andrew Christian through Amazon.

  Unfortunately, the material for the dress is so thin it's see through! Looks great in the picture, and I'd wear it to the beach over my bathing suit, but would think twice about wearing it anywhere else.

  Okay, maybe its just me, or the fact that I tried on the dress after dinner, but this dress fits very snugly on the waist, hips, and butt. I'm 5'2" and 120 pounds, and I ordered a medium, and yowzers!
  
  I supposed with the skinny model in the picture I didn't realize that I should've bought a large (gasp). It's definitely a cute dress, and it arrived quicker than I anticipated from Andrew Christian. But I was hoping I'd be able to wear the dress around town, but its a little more form fitting than I would like for everyday grocery store trips. So, I'd like to try either ordering another color in a bigger size. So, if you're like me and you have curves (but don't want to flaunt them in this simple tee), I'd recommed ordering one size larger than you normally would.

  Definitely stick with the dark colors, because walking around naked would be cheaper than buying this dress - the material is thin and in lighter colors would border on transparent. It is really comfortable and you can wear pants under it if you so desire, but if you wanted to go without them you could. I definitely see myself buying more of these and giving them as gifts as well.

  Cute dress. Exactly the way it looks online. It's like a long version of a wifebeater, but with a racerback. I'd recommend getting a dark color because you can kind of see through it but not much. I'm just guessing if it was white I'm sure it would be more. I recommend the dress. It's cute.

  Gorgeous, sexy and sporty!!! I wear a size 25-26 in jeans and the size small is nice and a little roomy for me. I didn't want the dress to be clubbing style tight and short, but more country-club acceptable (if that makes any sense). After a wash I am very happy with the dress sizing.
  
  Others have commented that they are upset with the sizing after a wash. I love american apparel clothes as the soft cotton and elegant designs are usually a steal. I recommend hand-washing their clothes when you are happy with the sizing. I have seen clothes shrink after 1 and again after 2 washes. I am not unhappy with this b/c i am on the tiny side but I hand-wash to keep the clothes soft and size-true.
  I ordered in green and black- get tons of compliments, specially on black one... will order more soon!

  I thought this dress looked cute in the picture... would have loved to see it in person. But Andrew Christian never delivered it. Three weeks after I ordered the dress and sent an email asking where it was they informed me they had discontinued it. I was extremely dissatisfied.

  I loved the first one I ordered last summer that I got a second one they are so comfortable to hang around the house....
  Higly recomend it, I even sleep in them sometimes.

  I Ordered a large and its does fit a bit snug, I didnt plan on wearing this outdoors just around the apartment while hanging out with my Honey who loves to see me in things like this while we watch TV. . . . .
  
  I just love it. For those who think its a bit snug try sleeping with it on for one night(its very Comfy) somehow while your sleeping it will give a bit , Its great.

  unless you are completly confident with your body it suck, I workout and look good in a bathing suit, but not this dress, it just shows everything, and its boaring cant really do much to it.

  Well I thought this dress looked pretty descent from the pictures I saw plus I was convinced to buy the dress by reading the reviews and knew it was going to look like an oversized tank top and it really is like a large muscle shirt from a vary known brand...Material is stretchy, forms to body and see through, great to wear as an oversized shirt with some pants or leggings or alone as a dress. Basic dress or top.

  After reading the other reviews, I didn't really know what to expect, but I figured for the price, why not give it a shot? I was pleasantly surprised after I got it! I ordered the black in size M. I am 5'3 and normally wear size S, but decided to go up a size since the other reviewers said it shrinks a lot. It was a tad loose when I first got it, and it stretched out even more while wearing it, but fit perfectly after one wash. I would definitely not put this in the dryer however!
  
  This dress is perfect in super hot weather (I live in Florida), it does not look cheap, is very comfortable, and with the right accessories, you can look really put-together. I paired mine with gold flip flops and a couple of heavy beaded necklaces, and it works almost anywhere for a super-cute weekend casual look. I've decided to order it in white and gray too!
  
  
• Versatile dress comes cheap price

  I actually purchased this dress in black from the Woodbury Outlet in NJ while vacationing there this summer. The dress is very versatile, I wore it the same day to a house party with a simple necklace and a pair of black heels. I was getting compliments throughout the whole night. You can wear it with a belt and knee-high boots with a jacket, or more casually just with flip flops. The fit of this dress is nice, but if you aren't confident enough to wear a simple tight fitting dress, get the black, goes well with everything.
  I am 114 lbs, 5'4 in height, the small fits me great. The dress comes down 2 inches above my knees.
