SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo cards have minimum write and read speeds of 10MB per second. The Ultra II line is designed for digital still cameras that have resolutions of 5 megapixels and higher, including "prosumer" cameras that average 6 to 8 megapixels. Users can photograph moving objects more easily, although image quality depends on the make, model and speed capabilities of each camera.

Big & Fast!

Perhaps the ultimate addition to a good camera. I used my camera with a SanDisk Pro Duo (the blue one...) and while most times it was fine, when I needed to take pictures in quick succession - it let me down. The Ultra II is noticably faster. You will not regret buying this.
Instructions scanty

This memory card is pretty much problem free although I have not tested it to full capacity yet. My one criticism is that the instructions were almost nonexistent and so I didn't understand what the adaptor that came with the memory stick was for. This is used only when inserting the memory disc into a photo processing station at a camera shop, Walmart or drug store location. You must insert the memory stick into the adaptor and then insert the whole thing into the photo processor. Maybe I'm hopelessly uninformed but maybe other purchasers would like to know this.

I bought this for my Sony T-50.
Works great! Its fast, and Sandisk makes the best memory cards out there.
If you're thinking about getting a card for a camera that has video, I recommend getting this one. It's fast, and it has plenty of room if you want to tape an event or function.

The only thing that I would change about this item is that it does not come in a tiny plastic storage case, so you need to have another type of storage to keep it clean. It does come with a Memory Stick Adaptor which I suppose could be used for storage purposes....

I have experience with many memory stick pro duos from both Sandisk and Sony. This Ultra II is the fastest one I've used and really makes a difference when transferring big files for my PSP.

Bought this for my Sony DSC-W55 camera. It seems to do the trick. Good amount of memory for the price and a nice alternative to the Sony memory.

The card is fast. I can take long video. The only issue is it is incompatible with my existing card reader. Sony PRO Duo reader is kind of expensive. I am using the USB adapter that comes with the camera for now to transfer files. Still looking for a cheaper reader.

This memory card is the perfect partner to a Sony digital camera, PSP or cellphone. This particular model keeps up with the fast burst shots of my Cybershot H9. You definitely have to feel the difference between this and the regular memory stick pro duo.

Wow! Don't you love the advances of modern technology? Plenty of space and cheap, reliable storage! My stick works excellent in my sony camera and I can't take enough pictures to fill it up!!!

This ScanDisk 2 GB Ultra II Memory Stick Pro Duo is fantastic! It works perfectly in my Sony DSC-W1 digital camera.

We had purchased this memory stick for my son's PSP. It stopped working after 1 month and we were not sure if it was the product or if my son had not cared for it properly. We contacted the company who made the stick and they had us return it with a copy of the receipt and it was replaced for free. The replacement stick is working fine. We are very happy with the outcome.

Works great. Have only used it for photos, but plan to try it out on short movie clips. I would say it is as good as the Sony brand, but the price is better!

My mistake. I bought a San Disk card but it was the wrong sd. It was a SD memory stick that did not fit my camera which uses a SD (secure digital)card I was able to return it for a small fee,it was my fault after all, so it was a learning experience.

I purchased a SanDisk Ultra II 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, for my Sony camera. After using it a couple of times with no problem, I was in the middle of a shooting session when suddenly a flashing warning appeared on my LCD screen reading " format error". Several attempts at reformatting the card either in the camera or in the card reader have proven unsuccessful.I was unable to retrieve the images on the stick.

I was dismayed to discover that Sandisk doesn't include a plastic case for the stick! I've bought several Sandisk 512 MB Memory Stick Pro sticks (not Ultra) and they all came with cases. Even a lowly 128 MB Memory Stick (not Pro) stick came with a plastic sleeve to protect the stick. I don't know if you can even buy just the plastic cases by themselves. I'm not happy about this.

I can't claim to've compared wide variety of competitors' offerings, but this tiny little card does the job well for a significantly lower price than Sony's. I bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro 1Gb a couple of years ago for $85. This new Memory Stick "Duo" form factor is less than half the size, twice the capacity and half the price...and performs as well or better.

Hmm, unless I were to take some software package and test it, I don't know that there is much to elaborate on here. Does exactly what its supposed to do. Allows me to take surprisingly hi-res good quality video with my digicam. Works well in burst mode too. Nice black finish...

It works really well. My wife was used to a 1 GB stick in her 5.1 MP camera but this one really helps out since she moved up to 8.1 MP.
