Makes your life a little easier

I have bought all of these items seperately and they do help a lot when you are pumping for work. It is great to keep extra pumps, valves, and storage bottles so you aren't constantly cleaning.
My favorite part of this kit is definitely the micro-steam bag. I still use this, even now that I'm not pumping as much. It is a very quick way to sterilize all the little things - you can do a bag full of pacifiers, nipples, nipple rings, etc. in 3-5 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. Awesome!

If you are buying an electric Medela breast pump, you will need at least two of these sets unless you want to be washing and boiling the parts everyday. It is nice to have a few extra shields on hand so that you don't have to be as quick to keep up on having the one set clean all the time. (Trust me, being new to motherhood myself, I have many other distractions to worry about than vigorously keeping up on cleaning the parts!)

Two years ago, I bought a breastpump to monitor the amount of milk that my daughter was drinking at each feeding. I purchased this Breastpump Accessory Set for use with my Pump In Style once my son was born. I wanted to be sure that I was using brand new equipment, (not that I had to, but it was my preference). The only thing I have a problem with is that they don't include the two tubes in this package. Luckily, I was aware of that when I purchased this "set" and went elsewhere to get the new tubes. I would have paid a little more to have EVERYTHING included.
As for another review stating that the nipples are a great transition from the breast - NOTE: This set does not include nipples. (that review could be misleading)
These extras will make your life easier...worth every penny!

I bought extra accessories when I went back to work...and it was a life saver. I kept an extra set of supplies in a sealed plastic container and would just have to worry about taking the bag and milk home and back. The Micro Clean bags are great!!!! I even used them at home when I didn't have time to sterilize over a stove...

This is great to have as a spare set for your Medela electric pump in case parts wear out or you just want a second set while cleaning the first. The microsteam bags are great for disinfecting parts. They can also be purchased seperately for $4.99 for a bag of 5 which can be used up to 100 uses, 20 per bag.

I love the Medela breast pump. It was easy to order the extra set of supplies I needed as my previous set cracked after 2 years in storage. This product is very easy to use and is durable.

This is a MUST have for any pumping mom. It will give you extras of all the pumping essientials and is much cheaper than buying the pieces by themselves. Each item in this kit is excellent. Buy one or more!

This is a very usefull product. I pump into bottles, put dr Brown nipples on them and feed directly to the baby. I have the big steralizer at home, so I use one bag for travelling the other I keep at work, in case I decide to steralize equipment there.

The micro steam bags are awesome. It is very helpful to have more breast shields. However, you can buy these cheaper separately. The bottles cost $19. The shields and valves are $7 each. (I purchased the shields at a local Target.) The micro steam bags are $4 and you get 4 in a package. (My local Target charged a couple dollars more for the steam bags than Amazon does.) That's $37.

This is a nice product and definitely helps nursing moms stay on top of pumping without having to run the dishwasher every five minutes. Everything looks exactly as it does in my Medela Pump In Style Bag except for the breast shields and valves. In my pump the breast shield and valves were two separate pieces, and this kit sells them as one piece. The fit is a tiny bit different so be aware. They still work fine, it was just an adjustment for me.

Medela is the best as far as pumps go, and this kit helps for the mom who is pumping often. We used this for extra storage and for when I had long days at work- the products are excellent quality and stand up well to dishwashers and boiling, too (my husband's a little bit of a germaphobe!). I highly recommend this and all their products (except their milk storage bags and breast pads- I prefer Lansinoh by a mile).

I love the Medela pump. I used it for my first child and now for the 2nd. The accessory kit included everything I needed again for the 2nd baby. I couldn't find it in stores so I was glad I was able to purchase it on Amazon.
