Versatile By A46J9SYINHYHN on 2006-08-28
I've had my watch for about a month and I love it so far. It did great in deep waters a few weeks ago while I was free diving in the Bahamas. The only downfall is you're not suppose to push any buttons under the water. The color of the watch is a pastel purple/blue. It has a lot of features in which I haven't tried yet but overall it's a great watch for a great price! :-) Good luck

Would recommend it. Bought it for our college age daughter. She says it is easy to use. She uses it to time her 1 mile runs.
Women's triathlon Sleek 50/100 Watch review By A2AVI1GIW63Y6Y on 2006-12-07
I'm afraid I find this watch far too complicated. I wanted to be able to recall more intervals than my previous watch handled, but don't care about storage of multiple workouts, and now when I finish the workout I have a hard time recalling the splits. If I mistakenly press "Start" too early, I have no idea how to reset it quickly and start it again, so the whole workout is a complete blank. At first I thought being able to set more than one interval timer was a great idea, but it took so long (and would be impossible to do in the dark, as is pretty much everything else) that I am committed to 3 mins., 1 min. intervals and would never be able to change it at my speedwork class when presented with a different workout! Very disappointing.
excellent running watch By A3BR6VJD548HI1 on 2007-08-07
So I started running again and wanted to get a good but inexpensive running watch. After doing some research, I chose the Timex Women's Ironman Triathlon Sleek 50/100 Watch. This was a great purchase. The watch is comfortable. The band helps prevent excessive sweating on the wrist. The numbers are large and easy to read when running a race or just during training.
Decent but started leaking in 4 Months By A1DXMO3U266EBX on 2007-10-27
Seems like a good watch. All the right features and easy to use. Two problems. First was moisture under the glass after a swim merely 4 months since purchasing. The other problem is minor, but the gloss on the purple finish is starting to chip away and make it look a little rough around the edges. It does have a warranty, but you have to pay for shipping there and include $7 for return shipping.
- easy to use
     By A3VHDQZSW6GNJM on 2007-07-19
Very light and easy to use. I haven't open the instructions yet. The colors on the buttons fade quickly tough.
- Don't push buttons while in water
     By AI28QU7NY20YX on 2008-04-21
I have worn this watch for a number of 1/2 marathons, work outs, etc. But my first triathlon in it ruined it. I hit the lap button while coming out of the water and the watch no longer shows all numbers. The instruction manual says do not push buttons in water (I did not read that until it was too late). However, this watch is marketed to triathletes, so you think it could have laps kept while swimming. Apparently not. Aside from that I loved the watch. I still may order another. I just won't use it for swimming.
- Purchased for the wife
     By A26UMYPCY95EX7 on 2007-01-03
Purchased for the wife as a thrasher weekend watch. It looks pretty cool, and does everything we want it to do. Its price is reasonable and competitive. Not much else I can say, it is what it is. You either like Timex products or you don't.
- second ironman
     By AWZEDTCTGY0S0 on 2007-05-12

- love this watch
     By A1QXTN8PLG6OOI on 2007-10-20
I've had numerous Ironman watches and I think they are great. I use all the features, time, chrono, timer, alarms and they are easy to set and use.
- Ideal: lightweight, sleek, and non-irritating
     By A18ZVJELVN5GI1 on 2008-03-29
I had been shopping for a watch that would be stylish enough to wear to work while strong enough to go running, swimming, etc. (I try to live an active lifestyle!)Another issue I have had with many watches is the fact that they irritate my sensitive skin, but this watch is designed in such a way that I don't I feel like I have a cuff on since its so breathable. The only thing I was skeptical about was the color, but it uworks well with my light complexion and dark hair. I have received many compliments for it. Overall, a good buy!
- Great watch
     By A3EH34LC0GZUQY on 2007-07-07
Love this watch so far, fits nicely and not too constricting especially in the hot desert. The band latches like most watches with the end of the band being held down nicely through a holder which latches the end to make sure it doesn't slip out while on the run. Love the multiple alarms very helpful and easy to set up, read the directions though much easier. Also able to be set to military time also helpful. Would buy again no hesitation.
- Good for money, however...
     By ASWUOFRG83GA4 on 2007-07-14
I have had it for 6 months now, things are starting to break. I like it for the money, it does well enough with how much I beat up my watches, but I definitely would not pay more than the $29 or so I paid!
- everything that was wanted in a watch
     By A3LHHFKGFRT2GD on 2008-01-08
this watch was purchased for someone in the family who requested it. she loves the look and feel of the watch on her arm. it fits well, and likes the band and the little stopper at the end that holds it down. the backround light worked very well, making the numbers easy to read. it will take some time to use all the features but she is anxious to "explore" her watch and its many functions that she will use in her active, sports-oriented life.
- Upside: 3 alarms. Downside: plastic wristband.
     By A3B77VMHHXP0I3 on 2008-03-10
I love that this watch has multiple alarms--great for snoozing. In fact, I use it to wake up every day. Unfortunately, I can't actually wear the watch any more. After wearing it for about 6 months with no problem, I developed an allergy to the plastic wristband. The skin covered by the watch turns red and itches for several days after wearing it for only a couple of hours.
- Baaddd idea to buy this product!!!!!!
     By ALR5I63HN4B7V on 2007-03-09
Unfortunately I can't change the star ranking because I rated it when I just received it. I bought it on amazon 1 year ago. You would never believe by looking at the watch- it's all broken and cracked. I am so positive that if you are going to use the watch 24/7 then be ready, the plastic (purple part) WILL get cracks and then break off in a month or so. Second problem is the band that the watch attached to. If you look at the watch you'll see 4 parts (in front)where the display attached to the arm band. So the problem is that it detaches from all of those 4 places and looks very, very ugly exposing the inner parts of the watch. It takes some time to put them back in place and then ll over again. :( And the last problem is that I've noticed some particles of water got into the display.... and wait until they dry out... :( I am absolutely unsatisfied w/this product. Don't buy it! There are better products out there.
- Awesome Watch
     By A2MVNRV45KEDA9 on 2008-03-23
I originally bought this watch in July of 06 and have worn it every second since then and it is finally falling apart. I wear it in the shower, swimming, ect and never have taken it off. It has lasted a decent amount of time. It is stylish, has alarms, and timers it has been a great watch! Right now I am buying the same watch because it has been great!
- Great, but don't expect it to last forever
     By A1KENZR41JEITK on 2008-06-03
I've had this watch for just under 18 months now and have been loving it. I haven't done as much outdoor activity with it as I would have liked, but mainly used the multiple timers and interval timers for reminders (for when I had my first child). I also LOVED the Indiglo night feature, but am saddened and a bit disappointed that that feature has now died completely and the warranty for the watch is only a year long. So the watch still works, but I can't use/see it at night or in any dim place (which is when I probably use it most). I'm hoping the repair cost will be cheaper (even with the shipping/handling fee) than buying a new one as I do really like this watch.
- Great Product.
     By A1KVME2DR8WOGB on 2007-01-04
I absolutely love my watch. It has all the features I need, and it looks pretty neat too. Couldn't have asked for better,
- great sports watch
     By A3G393OIRD3GJL on 2007-01-09
I am very pleased with this watch. Very simple to use. I have actually replaced my alarm clock with this watch since the wake up sound is very soft and pleasant and it has flexible programming for the three alarms. I have a tiny wrist, wish they make watches with more flexible band. I use it a lot for lap timing
- So far so good
     By A37C8BDVFJUU89 on 2007-07-15
I like this watch and it has been great. My only complaint is that the silver coating on the buttons are coming off. I haven't even had the watch for a year. Otherwise I have been happy.
- Just what I wanted
     By A2YKBAT7NCVXHA on 2008-05-17
This watch was just what I was looking for. It looks really good and the instructions are very easy to understand.
- Exactly what I was looking for in a watch
     By A2UTFRGSD1MY66 on 2008-05-19
I must preface this review by saying that I don't swim wearing this watch, so water resistance is of little importance to me. I also take it off for contact sports (who wants to be rude enough to smack their partner in the face with a watch?), so I haven't really tested its shock resistance. That being said, the watch is comfortable to wear, easy to use, and has a good selection of features. I have had no trouble with buttons or straps wearing out or fading in color. The only thing that I would add would be another interval timer.
- I love this!
     By A2VMI72QGIKC5F on 2008-06-20
I am training with my sister for a half marathon and needed a watch that would do internals, this watch works great for that! I have only used the clock, interval and timer and so far they are fabulous!
- Good watch, but may leak
     By A1JD6COKA3KCEG on 2008-06-25
I bought this watch for my 12-year-old daughter about a year ago. It's been a good watch for her and she loves it. The lavender surround on the face has started peeling a bit, but it is barely noticable. Considering that my daughter wears this all day every day, I can't complain about the durability. One issue of concern was when my daughter wore the watch while swimming. She has done this on several occasions, but this time, some water leaked into the casing. This caused the inside of the "crystal" to fog up, water droplets to appear inside, and the display began to fade - as if the battery were weak. I opened the watch and dried off all visible moisture then let it sit open for a day. After reassembly, it worked fine. It hasn't been back in the pool yet, so we don't know if the leaking will be an ongoing problem.
