• This charger doesn't charge

  As an earlier review noted, plug in this charger and nothing happens. My RAZR doesn't even see it. I ordered two; neither would charge my phone. (One of them rattled; something loose inside.) Contrary to what another review said, this charger is *not* the same as the one that came with my phone; though similar, it is not the same, and it has a different model number (see the label on the charger itself). I also ordered a car charger but I'm not going to risk using it on my phone. Did I return these items? No, I just threw them away, because at these prices, with shipping and handling both ways *not* refunded, I'd probably lose even more money returning them. (Too bad we can't give a "0 star" rating.)
  
  

• Compact, does the job of charging

  Considering the price is about $20 below what you'd pay at Best Buy or Circuit City, you really can't go wrong with this charger. It is also much smaller than the version that came with the Razr, which makes it great for travel, or in my particular case less bulky allowing it to easily plug into a surge protector next to chargers/plugs for other devices. This charger also works on my Blackberry - one less thing to have to deal with.

  The package says all the right words, so I connected my new razr phone and what do you know -- it blew up my battery. Amazon should discontinue this item immediately. What a horrible piece of crap.

  WOW!!! This thing is amazing!! It actually charges your phone battery. I don't know if you are aware of this, but a charged battery is a must for proper phone function. This is better than sliced bread.
  
  OK, I had to laugh when I got the email to review a phone charger. My opinion is that it would either charge the phone or not. Well, it did. I don't know if that is 5 or 3 stars. The price was fine. I suppose $2 is probably closer to the actual value, but that isn't going to happen so I'll recommend this one.

  I bought this adapter as well as a car charger before I read all of the reviews. I also noticed the Motorola Genuine Product Guide and thought, 'nah, I should be safe; all of this stuff is available on Amazon.' It wasn't until AFTER I placed my order for both of them before I realized that some of the sellers were selling knock-offs. I received both products today and after comparing them to the product guide I can gladly say they are both genuine! I couldn't believe that I was able to get this for so cheap! Never again will I buy from my cell company first; thanks Amazon and thanks AccessoryOne!

  I bought the device a long time ago, accompanied by the RAZR cellphone. Recently, my dog found the cord a bit attractive and she proceded to chew on it, causing it to split in half, now I can't talk on the phone for a while, until I buy a new charger. It is an excellent product, indeed, but beware of the dog.

  I find it ironic that the Motorola "authenticity" link is featured on this item's listing, yet it is clearly not an authentic Motorola product(but a very close copy). I compared it side-by-side with my colleague's genuine Motorola charger, and this one lacked the clarity of printing on the labels (non-etched, etc.) that the real article had. Nonetheless, it charges fine thus far, folds up just as small, has a nice long cable, and is about 10% of the cost of the genuine article. So I'm not unhappy with it, as long as it functions well and doesn't slag either my phone or battery.

  Does not work, microsoft wizard keeps asking for a software CD. Unable to load, emails to seller for drivers or software are fruitless no response. Good thing it didn't cost too much!

  This is a bargain for a data cable. Albeit, the cable is a generic cable that you can get anywhere, it is still good when you buy it for a penny. I don't know why Eforcity is letting these go for such a cheap price, but I'm not complaining. Cable is long enough to reach from behind my server-size computer case up to my desk 4ft off the ground. More then ample enough. Highly recommended item.

  The charger arrived just as expected, and it works great. It was very cheap, at only a dollar. However, with shipping and handling, the price was $10.00! I feel deceived, because the product is a lot more expensive then it seems. It should not cost that much to ship a tiny charger.

  It's not very fancy. It works, it can take a pretty good beating and still work. I haven't tried it in water, I wouldn't recommend water. Nope, water would be bad.

  For most people, this works perfectly fine. For some, it doesn't charge, or the phone doesn't even recognize it. I happened to be the latter one. It tells me Unable to charge. Well, it knows something is in the port, but not working. Great.
  
  It's a genuine Motorola product, and I expected more. Or am I expecting too much if I want a phone charger to actually charge?

  This is just like the standard home charger that you would get from Motorola or your wireless phone provider when you first purchase the phone. I haven't had any trouble with it. It works great. I have a black razr v3 that i use on it and i just recently purchased two silver razr v3's and it works on them as well. Great price compared to if you buy it from your wireless provider or motorola.

  This is definitely a bargain, but it is all but useless without the Motorola phone tools software. Without the software this is just a USB phone charger (there is no way to access your photos and/or ring tones).

  I recieved the charger quicker then I thought I would which was a great surprise. The charger worked perfectly until 3 days ago (I purchased it July 25, 2006 and it's August 25 today ). I'm having the same issues that I had with the charger that originally came with the phone. I'm beginning to think that I'm doing something wrong. So now I have to get a new one. I will be purchasing it from the same seller here on Amazon.
