Party Wearing This Pretty Pashmina!

I had seen a colleague of mine wearing this shawl. It looked gorgeous on her. That evening I promptly logged on to amazon.com and ordered one in red and the other in chocolate.
The fast delivery service didn't keep me waiting for long. The pashminas were softer and more lightweight than I had thought there were. I do have to say that the pashminas are not as soft as the ones my mother has but considering the price I paid for mine, they are fabulous. The material is on the thinner side; so don't expect it to keep you extremely warm.
The paisley self-design gives the shawl a richer look. On closer examination, I found minute dark spots on one of the shawls, but since it seemed as though it was woven in the fabric I did not bother much. Since then I have used the shawls for various occasion, both casual and formal. I love both the colors I have. And guess what - three of my friends loved my shawls and ordred the same for themselves.

I ordered this for myself and once I got it I ordered several for Christmas gifts. The price is soo great I ordered extra just to have on hand in case I need a quick gift. It is very soft and the color (Chocolate Brown) was slightly patterned. It can easily be dressed up or down depending on your mood. It is exactly what I expected. It is on the thin side so if you are looking for something substantial this is not for you ( but the feel is heavenly).

I have been searching everywhere for wraps for the girls in my wedding to wear. One night I happened to come across the 70% pashmina & 30% silk from Saka's. I decided to order them in black to see what they would look like b/c the internet can sometimes be deceiving. When I received them in the mail, I couldn't be more excited. They are perfect for the wedding. Soft and silky feel with a very subtle design. Not only are they dressy enough for the wedding, the girls can use them again for anything. I plan on buying more, there are a ton of colors offered. Did I mention how reasonable the price was?? Also, the handwritten note with the package was a nice touch. Thank you!!

I purchased a black and a red/black pashmina. I'm going to keep the black one, but the red/black doesn't look as rich in color as it appears in the photo. It's a bit more orange-red than I would like, and isn't as elegant as the black one. The quality is good for the price, but the "original" price is a bit misleading - in my opinion they are not $100+ quality.

I was very impressed with the reviews on this shawl and the displayed image. So I bought the chocolate color. But when I received it, it was not what I expected. It appeared very dull. So watch out when you buy. Dont get fooled by the images...

Overall, these are nice pashminas for the price, but a few seemed to have small dark spots in the fabric. It's very small, and seems to be woven into the fabric...it's not enough for me to return the product. Also, I was not aware that they would have a paisley design, but I am using them for bridesmaids gifts, and the paisley makes them seem dressier.

This shawl/wrap is beautiful!! The design is so subtle, but wonderful! I needed this for a wedding. I ordered it on a Friday and needed it for the following Friday. With standard shipping, I received it on the Monday before the wedding!!! I love this item and definitely recommend it!!

The order came in pretty quickly. The pashminas are not as soft as some of the other ones that I've bought in the past, however for the price, these are great.

Although the shawl is advertised as "free shipping" in big bold letters if you read the fine line below you'll see that in order to qualify for free shipping you have to buy 2 shawls, something I did not notice until after I received my confirmation and noticed a shipping fee. When I contacted Amazon I was told that there's nothing that they could do for me AND that I could not cancel the order.

I received a scarf that was a completely different color from what I ordered. I contacted customer service and was told that they shipped the "closest color". I have never experienced anything like this in any shopping experience. I returned the item and expected them to refund the shipping cost, since the error was completely due to their error. They did not do so. I feel like I got taken for a ride - $6.97 for initial shipping, + the cost of shipping the shawl back to them. It seems like an unscrupulous deal.

These are the types of Pashmina you can buy from the street vendors of New York for $5. They are exactly the same, even down to the slip cover packaging. The quality is acceptable, some frayed edges and very thin, but a nice stocking filler. Certainly not worth the price listed here.

My infinitely wonderful fiance found this for a Christmas gift for me last year, and I have thought sweet thoughts about him every time I've worn it. I ordered my pashminas on a Sunday and received them by Saturday. They're beautiful, soft, and very elegant. I bought the burgundy, ivory, and black one. The black and burgundy ones are very rich in color. The ivory one is rich also, but I was a little disappointed in this one as there were little black and light blue threads that were woven into the fabric in some places. Since I bought the ivory one, it stood out. But since there weren't a large amounts of places where they existed, I didn't fret too much about it. All in all, I was pleased with them.

Fast shipping, great service! The shawls are light and airy, enough for a light breeze but not much more. So pretty, but the colors are a lot darker. For example, lavender is actually a dark purple!

I got the dark red wrap. Very versatile, long and wide. I've used it as a scarf and a shawl. It's warm when I drape it in front inside my coat or when I wrap around my neck to protect against the wind. Minor dislike: the "Pashmina" tag had a sticky backing that left a mark when I removed it.

I like this wrap very much. Yes, I've felt softer, but not for anywhere near this price. It's nice, as well, because it can be worn as a scarf. I got a few colors... the black is very basic (no real pattern) so it's very neutral. The brown has a subtle and lovely paisley pattern - it's nice that it's a little different. An annoyance: the tag is stuck on with a very sticky tape. After I removed it, the fabric was thinner where the tape had been. I hope the company will think of changing that. This is an excellent value.

I bought two of these shawls before a trip to Las Vegas, not expecting much for the price. Was I suprised!! They are soft, shimmery, and very stylish. They looked great with my outfits, and kept me warm in the air-conditioned world of Las Vegas. In fact, I love them so much, I'm buying 2 more!!!

These are just beautiful shawls. The blue-green one in particular has gorgeous colors in a very pretty pattern. They're extremely soft and good for keeping warm. A spectacular deal at only about $25 on Amazon.

I bought this as gift for a friend and it was really elegant, the only slight problem were the faint discolorations as mentioned by previous reviewers, but these were slight and didn't detract from much from the overall appearance of the item.
