okay, but I have better recommendation

If you like these things, as an improvement over your regular earphones that came with your iPod, then let me give you a big piece of advice: Buy the apple in-ear earphones. They are $30-40 and give you that awesome sound with the fit you are looking for. I thought these ear Jam things were a big improvement, but they were still not completely comfortable and they did change the sound in a slightly unpleasing way. So, I put the apple in-ear earbuds on my wishlist and got them for my birthday and now I wish I would have known that these were what I was looking for all along. The apple in-ear phones are my holy grail. Try them. IF you only have enough to afford the Ear Jams, then try them if you must, but if you have enough for the Apple in-ear earphones, then you will be so happy! Be sure to read the instructions on Amazon's reviews of how to properly insert them, though.
Great comfort but sacrfice sound quality

Finally, my iPod earphones stay in my ear. However, the boost in bass is nothing more that the Earjam muffling the sound. And your music seems louder because now the earphone is directly in your ear canal. Never the less, your iPod earphones will fit properly. With the 3 different size, you are more than likely to find the right one for you. And for those that complained that that Earjam irritated or scratched the outside of your ear. To remedy that problem, I suggest the Silicon Replacement Earpads at RadioShack (Model: 33-1994). I placed those around the Earjams themselves and that are a very comfortable fit.
EarJams 2 Will not with the NEW iPhone

These will not clip on to my iPhone they are just a little bit too large and they fall off. I had to put a little glue on it so hey stay on. I was going to return them however, I decided not because of the shipping cost.
They will fit on the earbuds that are furnished with the IPOD

These little plastic miracles are amazing. I used to get such lame sound from my ipod earbuds, but I didn't want to pay for the in ear ones. These are the perfect solution. My only problems I've had with them is that for the first 30 seconds or so that they are in they are uncomfortable, but after that you don't feel them. They stay in well if you put them in well, which is not at the same angle as normal earbuds. KEEP THE VOLUME LOW!!! If you have the volume too high you will blow your ears up. I only did it once, and now I keep the volume at around 20%. Another problem is the price. Even though it is only $15, think about what you're getting. 2 little plastic things with a small rubber piece and a small nylon case. I think they could lower the price a bit, because they probably only cost a couple dollars to produce. Anyway, since these are their own category, there is no choice. If you are tired of the lame bass in ear buds, then get these. The outside noise is also lowered.

I got this hoping it would stop my ear buds from falling out of my ears while I was running. It did not really help with this. It does change the sound, but increasing the bass and decreasing the treble. Overall not really that useful.
- Deep in bass, muddy everywhere else

The title basically tells you my opinion of this product. It definitely increases bass, but muddles up everything else. Words can hardly be understood, absolutely awful. I gave it 3 stars for dramatically increases the bass, although at the cost of everything else, it's not worth your money even if it's $15.
- Bass is a boon but clarity is a bust

Got my jams today and clipped them on ready to be blown away by the comfort and sound. Wasn't blown away by either.
In my opinion, these totally take away from the range. Everything sounded muffled, like I was listening through water. Tried all three sizes and had the same opinion.
Not a great purchase. Regret I have to go through the return process.

When I bought the iPhone my only problem was the the earphones where so uncomfortable I kept using my iPod to listen to music. I've always wondered why Apple makes a great mp3 player and then pairs it up with some horrible earphones even with the iPod I bought different earphones.
I thought I was going to have to buy one of those 100 dollar iPhone earphones they sell at the Apple Store.
Then somebody at the gym told me about this ad-on for my existing earphones. Man! These are great! and for 10.00 Sound is prefect. Maybe the 100 dollar ones may sound a little bit better. Now I'll never know.
This is a good buy!
- A Little Muffled

The fit is good, they are very comfortable. However, even with my iphone's equalizer at bass reducer the bass is overpowering and everything else is muffled. Shell out the $$$ for a real pair of in-ear 'phones, you'll be much happier in the long run.

Great product! They work perfect! It's true that the treble does suffer a little, but it sure beats the dang things falling out of my ears constantly. They are worth every cent!
